Out of all the shawarma places in the states, Shawarma Press is the only one I've tried that has consistently delivered on the same level as overseas Shawarma. They make the thin bread in house, the meats (both chicken and beef) are fresh, the sauce is not overwhelmingly garlic-y, but certainly flavorful, and the overall quality of the sandwich is unparalleled. I hit this place up around once every two weeks. The consistancy of the food is on point. The flavour of the chicken and the spices they use to marinate it is just like the shawarma back home in the middle east. I just stopped in for lunch and was amazed with the food and hospitality. The steak tandoori rice bowl was absolutely delicious, as was the yogurt salad. The staff was very friendly and helpful with menu questions. The baklava and espresso desserts were wonderful and well.
