First time! I really liked that this place is mainly about the tea. We tried the okinawan and the classic oolong milk teas, both with mini bubbles because they ran out of the large one. I realize I'm ok with mini bubbles but depending on my mood, I would like it to be regular ones. I just eat all those mini bubbles so quickly! Then again, sometimes I feel it's hard for me to finish all the regular ones before I run out of tea! ooooh the struggles, first world struggles =P. The Okinawan is described on the menu as "roasted brown sugar" and you definitely get that roasted taste and it's definitely not that sweet, lucky for me. I like it not too sweet, and unfortunately it's a pre-prepared powder (as was told by the gracious lady taking my money) so I couldn't lessen the sweetness and can only add to it. I would say it's about 50-70% sweetness level compared to what I imagined regular sweetness level is. Unfortunately, my gauge may not be accurate since this was our first time and the oolong milk tea we got was at 30% sweetness, so I haven't tried what their 100% sweetness is like. But I definitely liked the Okinawan, although it's not listed as a favorite. For some reason I have to agree to that, I liked the Oolong milk tea much better! It was lighter in roast flavor but still really hit the spot in tea flavor. I think I wouldn't mind the Okinawan but I'd rather get the Oolong milk tea if I had to choose between the two. And regular bubbles ;). Side note: They were brewing a new pot of tea at 10:30pm, so that says something right? It smelled so good! Wish I asked what tea it was!! read more

Try the handmade fresh taro with no sugar. It's so yummy! :) I also really love heir mini pearls. Their drinks are generally on the "sweeter" side, so I'd recommend 0 sugar or 30% sugar. read more

Sharetea has some really good boba! I had the honey black tea + Black pearls and they made it just right. I usually go to Kung fu tea for my go to boba. I came here a while ago cause my friend told me it was good and I happened to be in the area. I'm not a bubble tea expert by any means so I asked the cashier with blonde hair to tell me what the classic milk teas tasted like and she said it tasted like tapioca which I thought were the pearls not the flavor. 2 stars goes solely to friendly customer service. There is a lot of problems with this place. Drink: Not terrible, not great, but not consistent in quality. We got Hokaido milk tea, QQ, matcha green tea creama, and classic oloong milk tea. Hokaido is ok, QQ is a no-no ( my sister told me it was bland and lack of favor), matcha is good, and olong is so so. Menu: First we were told that bubble was sold out (8:30 pm on Wednesday night???) , only mini bubble left. Fine, we will take that. Finished ordering everything at 8:34. We waited 20 to be told that mini bubble was out as well. Fine, just put whatever you have left. Got our drinks at 9:05. So for half an hour, the two bartenders managed to make 15 drinks (yes, I was bored and actually counted) at the rate of 4 minutes/drink! Incredible! Decor: feel like walking into a storage room. Look like the owner opts for modern, minimal look, doesn't quite hit that. Overall: Would not coming back if the quality is still the same. Employees need some serious training and the manager needs to do better job at stocking ingredients. read more

The parking was very easy since it's in a huge shopping center. The store was easily found with the huge share tea sign. When I first entered the store, I was welcome with many people immediately staring at me. There was about 3 workers when I came in. The place was so bright, the walls are filled with cute sticky notes, the space seating is limited, there is a TV playing kpop music videos, and their gender neutral bathroom is okay kinda clean. The menu had menu options, I didn't know what to order, if only if I can but 1 of everything sadly I couldn't buy multiple drinks or people will judge me. All drinks come in one size which is large. After 5 min of the longest 5 kin I ever had, I decided with green tea creama with no ice, 100% sugar, and grass jelly as a topping. I love the fact they have customizable levels to the drinks. That's always a plus for me. My boyfriend got the classic pearl black milk tea with regular everything. After paying I sat down, the drinks finished 2 min after, it was quite quick. Too quick they had to call me twice bc I wasn't sure it was my order. The cups were much taller than average bubble tea places. It gives me the allusion I'm drinking more. I love the seal designs very cute. The milk foam from the green tea creama was really good. Perfect sweetness. The grass jelly was delicious I highly recommend customers to get herb/grass jelly as a topping with the creama series. I took a sip of my boyfriends black milk tea with boba. It wasn't bad, I had better ones, but not bad. Some things I noticed, they don't shake their drinks, they also don't have order numbers so I'm unsure when they called us. Other than that, I would definitely try other drinks when I come back. Definitely coming back to try their other creative drinks. Overall my experience at Sharetea was very great. It doesn't matter if the tea tastes alright (which it is, just average). It matters though if you wait half an hour for a bobaless drink. Cashier's excuse was that it was just the two of them with the guy focusing on taking orders only at the POS. The system is bad so I don't blame them. The real issue is the POS training from management and lack of proper equipment. It doesn't take that long even for a single person to crank out the drinks if they know the recipes and have the right tools. The owner of this establishment must have some kind of perverse enjoyment making their employees jerk off each drink manually instead of fixing or installing an automatic shaker like every single other boba joint. Not to mention really pride themselves on probably training new staff for a total of five minutes each. Clearly this was the case as every few seconds, the singular barista was glancing at the recipe and quadruple checking each ratio to inordinately lengthen the completion time. People are going to keep coming here cause lack of availability of any alternatives. The worst you can do is disrespect your customer's time by refusing to sacrifice yours. read more

Echoing everyone's else review. Yes, the drinks are great and yes there is a wait. Ive been going here since opening because I'm addicted to their creama. That drink is literally crack. My SO and I come weekly to introduce our friends to creama so we're regulars at this point. Sometimes the drinks aren't the best sometimes ( they forget the jelly/cream, completly wrong drinks) and the service has always been sub par at best. The staff would ignore you and make you feel like you're troubling them with your presence but we say nothing and continue to come back because to us everyone makes mistakes and working retail sucks. We ordered two creama today at near closing time and felt bad because it was late so we left as soon as our drinks came. A minute after stepping out we realized that we didn't get a knife (in order to drink creama you need to get to have a little plastic knife to cut slits on the lid and sip the drink from it) so we turned back to go get it. I came in and ask the girl at the register for two knives and she just looked at me and said in the most unapologetic way "sorry there's no more". I think that was my final straw. A heads up wouldve been nice but I guess that's too much to ask for this place. We ended up having to go to a McDonald's, order something, then ask for a plastic knife to make a slit to drink our drink. Freaken ridiculous if you ask me. I'm probably just going to wait until a different location opens up and goes there because no matter how good the creama is, there's nothing that can wash off that bad taste I get every time I leave this establishment. If you don't care for the crema just go to Teas'n You in Tyson. Bomb teas and amazing customer service. read more

I finally found a place that sells coffee milk tea! I This is located near the Walmart on 50. I am so glad they opened a bubble tea shop here. I tried their coffee milk tea and passion fruit/orange/grape fruit tea. Their coffee milk tea is a bit too milky for my tasteand the coffee can't really be tasted but its not bad. I would recommend trying it at least once because they don't sell it anywhere else not even KFT. I really like the fruit tea I got though although its on the sweeter side, but you could customize your drink and lower the sweetness level. I prefer this over kung fu tea because they have better pricing and better tasting tea. read more

So happy Sharetea is finally open in DC region. It's one of the best bubble tea places in west coast. The regular menu is good and the seasonal new items are always good surprises. I love that they can customize the sweetness and ice level. It totally beat Kungfu tea and Kokee!! Comparing to Sharetea, Kungfu tea is ok, but Kokee's house bubble milk tea is so horrible that it should never be a "house" special.... I hope Sharetea can have more franchises like what they do in west coast. read more

Both times I got the mango and passion fruit tea with lychee jelly and 30% sugar. My boyfriend got the coffee crema twice and really enjoyed it.
