We took the kids to planet Playskool today and afterwards they wanted something to eat. We saw the mall had a shake shack and ventured over. The place was clean and the kiosks were easy to use. We waited less than 5 minutes for our meal to arrive at our table. We have shack shake near our home in Manhattan but this for some reason was extra delicious! The staff here are so welcoming kind and thoughtful. Honestly they made the experience great. We were asked if we wanted refills on our way out which I honestly didn't know shake shack offered.

Double Smoke Shack burger... cheers to hoping this all goes to my booty :-)

I have some weaknesses.... and one of them happens to be Shake Shack. I can't help it. Their burgers are just so damn good that I keep coming back for more. The Smoke Shack burger will never fail to hit the spot. Even their lemonades are on point. And with the way they keep coming up with new limited edition menu items? Wheewww chile. I tried their new black truffle parmesan fries and WOW........ So I'm upgrading my review to 5 stars. I'm gonna pretend that I have a money tree in my backyard so I can ignore their high fast food prices.

The cashier Wellington was welcoming and friendly. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, it was very clean. I also liked the server that came back to us with condiments after delivering our order. Best experience ever!

This was my first time at Shake Shack. Been there many times to drop kids off and pick them up but never for myself. What have I been waiting for?!? I had the chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Bread was soft and tasty. Chicken was moist and delicious. The toppings lettuce and tomatoes and onion. We're all very fresh. Just a nice sandwich. I'll be back!

Always a reliable burger. Cooked well. Bun is soft and fresh. Cheese is quality and tasty. Enjoyed it very much.

My absolute favorite. If you're feeling a delicious burger and wanna splurge - shake shack is the place to do it. Perfectly crisped smash patties, fresh veggies piled high, cheesy goodness and some shack sauce. Also, I'm usually not a fan of crinkle fries but when they're perfectly crisp and crunchy like this dipped in some ketchup - yum! The restaurant is also so clean and well organized. The staff does a great job. It's so out of the way for me but so worth it whenever I do end up coming here.

Come for weekend lunch. Love the shake burger as always. Service is quick. Very spacious inside. Lots tables and seats. TVs on the wall for kids. Employees come out periodically to clean the tables.

Went back after a while to get some lunch on a weekday. As usual neat and clean store. Was very convenient to order from the kiosk. Food was ready in about 10 minutes. Amazing tasty shake burgers. Crispy tender chicken pop corn. And got my new favorite yuzu lemonade. Happy to see this store maintaining its quality.

Takeout

This afternoon I ordered takeout at Shake Shack to bring back to the office for lunch. I've been to locations in the city, but this was my first Jersey Shake Shack experience. I drove over to the location on Route 17. There were parking spots upfront, but more in the back of the lot. If you enter from the back of the lot, you'll be closer to where you order. This was an impromptu decision and I didn't order ahead, so I placed my order using one of the three self-service kiosks. I entered my phone number so I could be texted when my order was ready, and emailed myself my receipt. Super easy. The food came out in about 10 minutes. It kept by the time I got to my desk, and was just as Shake Shack scrumptious/tasty. I would come back again the next time I want to $plurge on a burger and frie$ lunch. Oh, this is what I ordered: - single burger - fries - chicken bites - fifty/fifty drink

Over the past few years it seems like Shake Shack has aggressively expanded. From my experience they consistently serve above average fast food; I don't think I've ever been disappointed by the food during a visit to Shake Shack. I believe this location was the first to open in the North Jersey area and when it did the lines were CRAZY. Eventually they opened another location at Garden State Plaza down further south down Route 17 and of course that one gets a lot busier. However, given the headache that is finding parking at GSP, I will go to this Route 17 South location unless I'm already at GSP for something else. Unfortunately, I've noticed the service at this location is a step below the one at GSP. Normally I don't really care about friendliness and all that when it comes to food, that's just a bonus. But a handful of times my order has been messed up which is annoying to say the least. Nothing major, but it sucks to have to wait again for it to be fixed. I haven't had this experience at GSP and I've been to both locations about an equal number of times. My latest trip to Shake Shack was to try the limited time Hot Ones menu items. As a fan of both Shake Shack and Hot Ones I knew these would be a must-try. The highlight of it all was of course the Hot Ones x Shack Sauce. At first I didn't think it was very spicy at all; maybe akin to Sriracha. But as I proceeded through my meal the heat built up and I liked that. It wasn't spicy to the point of tears and pain, but I could definitely feel the sweat building up at my brow. Definitely tasty and it went well with all the items. The chicken sandwich had a generous breast that was breaded/seasoned well and also cooked very well. It was still moist and juicy. I wish the Monterey jack cheese on top was melted a little more but it still played well with the sauce. The bacon on top still had a little chew, just how I liked it. I think I enjoyed the burger the most out of everything. It was a typical Shake Shack patty cooked perfectly. I think the extra greasiness of the burger in comparison to the chicken allowed it to cut the heat of the sauce a little. I really enjoyed that pairing. The cheese fries were awesome. I love cheese fries and I love spice, so spicy cheese fries are right up my alley. Topped with bacon? Perfection. I might have to make a return visit to Shake Shack to try the Hot Ones menu again. I heard you can get a packet of The Last Dab Apollo if you dare to brave that heat. Whether that'll be here or at GSP I'm not sure.

Love shack, baby love Shake Shack (baby that's where it's at)! Bang Bang Bang on the door baby. I don't go often but when I do, I always enjoy the Shake Shack. I've tried several of the burgers, always with some sort of french fries and a shake. Everything is made upon ordering so it is always nice and fresh. I do not mind the 15 min wait to get my order freshly made. The wait may be longer with all the available delivery services so give the the employees a break and be patient. The burgers are prepared well with perfect ratios of meat, cheese and toppings. French fries are always nice a crispy whether they stand alone or covered with cheese and bacon. The shakes are creamy with the perfect sipping consistency. The manager came around to ask us ďif everything was ok, which everything was better than ok. Will definitely return to a Shake Shack.

I've never met a Shake Shack that I didn't like. Well maybe except for this one. We ordered at around 12:20 for a 12:45 pick-up. We arrived at 12:55 and it still wasn't ready. But that's not the reason for the two stars. It was the parking lot (which is cramped) and most importantly, the food. I always say you can't go wrong with Shake Shack but this location was just not good. Maybe we came at the wrong time and the lunch rush was too overwhelming? We wanted to try the spicy chicken. I ordered it hot and my husband ordered it fire (there's hot, extra hot, and fire). We couldn't tell which one was which because there wasn't any sort of labeling, and they both looked the same. It's basically just a regular chick'n shack and the "spice level' is the amount of cayenne pepper they sprinkle on it. I ate half of the fire one before I realized it wasn't mine but there wasn't a huge difference between that and the hot one. The chicken was also overfried, so it was dry. There's also no option to customize it so you can't add or remove anything even if you wanted to. Cheese would have helped the sandwich go down a bit easier. We also decided to try the chicken bites since those were limited time too, but these were just disgusting. Also overfried, it was super oily to the point that the breading was falling off of the rubbery chicken. That didn't exactly make it easy to dip it in the cheese sauce it came with. The fries were probably the best part of the meal. They were the "spicy fries", so it was the same uninnovative method they used for the hot chicken but at least these weren't overdone or too oily. Don't think I'd return to this location. If I need Shake Shack, I'll just venture out to the city or wait for the Hoboken location to open up.

Good burgers and fries. I particularly love the cheese fries as an occasional treat. Their chocolate shakes are good also!

I got my usual matcha soft serve on a cone and it came in a huge swirl on a waffle cone. The ice cream had a strong matcha flavor and was creamy and fluffy. I will say I had this at 9:30 pm and couldn't sleep due to the strength of the matcha but that goes to show that they really put a good amount! A great place to have some quick dessert in Fort Lee!

It turned out the red bean was spoiled, so I had to go back and ask them to remake the drink without it. This time, on 12/27 around 5:30 PM, I ordered a hojicha latte. After placing my order, I noticed there was a free size upgrade promotion running throughout December, so I asked if my drink could be upgraded. The staff member said no, explaining that it had to be done while ordering for the promotion to apply. That excuse felt very lame and honestly came across as laziness, especially since it was a free upgrade and could have easily been accommodated. At another Maiko location (Garden State Plaza), the staff proactively informed me about the promotion and asked if I wanted the upgrade, which is what I would expect. Unfortunately, the Fort Lee location didn't offer the same experience. Even after I asked, it felt like I was given weak excuses rather than a genuine effort to help. On top of that, the hojicha latte here was overly milky. I've had the same drink at other Maiko locations where it tasted much nuttier and more balanced, so this was disappointing. I really love Maiko overall, but based on these experiences, I wouldn't visit the Fort Lee location again.

The whipped cream and cherry on top made it adorable, and the ice cream was creamy and very vanilla. The wet walnut sundae also paired well with it. Both were just overflowing right out of the dish. Even though it's simple, it wasn't basic. We were served quickly and with pretty and tasty desserts. I admire the local history captured in photos. There is plenty of street parking nearby. It came to the United States in 1770, is made with milk, typically does not include eggs, and has a dense texture from a slower churning speed than ice cream. Located on Market Street in Elmwood Park, my partner and I came to this family-operated establishment celebrating 25 years. Upon entering the cozy Four Seasons as first-timers, we were in the mood for some homemade gelato. There were a few classics one will find, such as chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, and stracciatella (vanilla with crunchy chocolate pieces), as well as pistachio, all written in Italian. They also feature hard ice cream, cakes, pastries, and coffee. We decided on a small chocolate and medium banana and sat outside at one of the two available tables. The texture was silkier and softer with a bold, intense flavor and authenticity. The price was comparable to the area. The young staff could have been a bit more sociable.
