Black raspberry ice cream with marshmallow topping
Theresa M.

So good! The cutest ice cream parlor that has some additional candies and chocolates for purchase. If you're familiar with Holsteen's in Bloomfield - this shop has a similar ambiance. I ordered the Black Raspberry Oreo ice cream with marshmallow topping. The ice cream was so tasty and creamy! Also good oreo balance in the ice cream. Definitely will be coming back to try other flavors and sweets. Received quick service when we sat at the counter.

Conrad's is such a neighborhood gem! I've been coming here for over 30 years and I'm so happy to see this business is still thriving. There's a reason there's a line around the block on summer nights, with people of all ages waiting to order ice cream. It's simply the best. And they always have the sweetest Easter display with chocolate bunnies and eggs. Highly recommend stopping by for something sweet to enjoy there or take away.

Happened upon this spot as locals were lining up around the block. The place has been family run for years and the ice cream was a nice treat.

A medium Sundae not even filled to the top. $8.25. what a rip off I will never go back.

I went to Conrad's to get a Sundae for myself. I decided to get a medium because the small looked very small. An older lady served me. So I don't understand why she couldn't fill the container to the top. I was totally ripped off. $8.25 for this? I will never go back. There are plenty of other ice cream places in Westwood to go to. And this will not be one of them for me. Thanks for ripping me off

Vistes at a food truck festival today. Seriously some of the best ice cream I've ever had and the chocolate just melts. Definitely recommend!!

Yummy my favorite Butter Pecan Ice Cream

While passing through, I discovered Conrad's Confectionery which is a hidden gem to me; its enticing array of candies, chocolate and delightful ice cream. The Butter Pecan flavor I tried was a heavenly treat that perfectly complemented the charming atmosphere. The service was impeccable. The name on the door "Conrad's Homemade Candy Ice Cream," truly reflects the delectable delights that await inside. A must-visit for anyone looking for treats for the holiday season!

Raspberry with chocolate chips and salt surf

I have tried so many different ice creams and there is no ice cream place better than Conrad's. Maybe not so many fancy or funky flavors as in Washington DC or on Pacific, incl SF, Seattle, LA incl Salt & Straw or Molly Moon's. Our NJ Conrad's is rich buttery smooth just simply true ice cream as I remember it from my childhood many decades ago. The pic shows raspberry with chocolate chips and salt turf

Best ice cream anywhere. Love their soft serve, and the specials flavors are amazing. My favorite is the mint chocolate chip.

I've only had the ice cream here but it's always been good. One thing I will say is there is always a line here, so be prepared to wait.

As a former professional gooner I've tried to put this behind me... and I'll do so again to get going on this review. Westwood's chosen child returns to Gold, Frankincense, and myrrh? Nay. Don't stop him now! We walk the streets to churn the butta in the tumma as the Europeans would do. In American fashion we whipped and nay nayed on a hard turn, busted a gust, bombed an oblique and banged ourselves down at Bruster's for a blast of cream. Circa 24' on its opening summa. This post has been in drafts. Sorry not sorry. I'm like Banksy, dropping art all over the tri state whenever I please. The line had shrunk so we jumped on to order the gunkiest of gunk. Hot day, superrr hot fiyaaaa. My eyes capture the menu from a very near and dear distance, oh, they've got their BLAST creation which is a mixture of your goods like a blizzard. Crunch? Great add. Toss it in with the M&Ms and outcomes delight. A critique on Dairy Queen is that it's often actually too cold and too hard. That's where the blast differs. Creamier but not so far to say a custard. Nice vanilla flavor. A boatload of mix-ins. Literal boat load I saw the pontoon in the back, love a place committing to a bit. And the nice thing about this concoction was that it was still cold but oh so runny. Almost a hybrid milkshake consistency. Loved it. Listen, there are better in the area but they have a great patio in a great spot in a great town with some great options. A warm summer day 5 and a natty 4. Let's stick natty, that's it from your daddy.

The service is typically enthusiastic, though sometimes slow depending on how busy they are. The biggest drawback is the price; it feels costly for what you get, and the atmosphere, while bright, is standard chain fare. Pro tip: I like to stock up on their gift card bonus offers, or you can purchase at Costco for discount rates to make the treat more worthwhile. It's a fine, fun treat, but it's not an everyday option unless you utilize those discounts.

I ordered a small milkshake for my daughter and this is what I was given (please refer to the attached picture). It should be noted they had a Roku remote on the counter that I grabbed to use as a size reference. I just want to emphasize that this is the amount of milkshake we were given, it was NOT drank from. Baffled by the lack of milkshake in the cup, I asked the employee if this was my small milkshake he confirmed it was. The employee was a very nice young man and advised he had simply followed the measurements given to him by his employer. Some people were waiting an hour. That is why you prepare to not be short-staffed, I explained. Instead of saying "yes, thanks, apologies," I was sarcastically insulted by the manager likely responsible for cutting corners. To be clear, I gave respectful and constructive feedback to someone who seemed above it (but not above taking everyone's money). The insult to injury is your insinuation that I wasn't patient despite my clear explanation of what transpired, and no acknowledgment of your manager's shortfall. Just a backhanded assessment that proves, just like in the store, you're not listening to your customers. People, go elsewhere. Crave Creamery is in New Milford, locally-owned, well run, and just about 7 mins away from this disaster. Coldstone Creamery in Westwood is 5 mins the other direction and tasty, plus knows how to respect their customers time and money.
