An established Dallas restaurant that feels like a hidden gem in the heart of Lowest Greenville, Sevan G & G Cafe serves up the best Mediterranean food in the city. The restaurant offers a very limited amount of indoor seating with usually just one person working. Despite this, it feels warm and inviting inside - like eating in your grandparents' home. And, you'll always receive attentive service and mouthwateringly good food! BYOB!

    Greek Salad, Mazza Plate

The Mazza plate was great. It had eggplant, hummus, tabouli and Domas. I don't care for domas or tabouli but the dips were tasty! My chicken sandwich (gyro) wasn't very good. The chicken was extremely dry. The Greek salad was delicious! The dressing had a lemon flavor to it. The lamb gyro tasted and looked much better than the chicken. Service was good but server didn't have the best attitude.

    Mazza Plate

Tried this for the first time after seeing positive reviews on social media and it did not disappoint! It is delicious and the food was very fresh. Highly recommend the Mazza Plate + Gyro Plate to split.

Very cute place! Surprised I didn't discover this restaurant earlier even though I'm a frequenter of Lower Greenville. The exterior is very unassuming, but I loved the decor and the vibes. The food was also pretty spot on. Not overly heavy and tasted home-made. The grilled tilapia was very well cooked! I think next time I would order a protein-heavy appetizer to share as I did not feel 100% full after my main dish. Service was decent as well - our water cups were never empty! I would definitely return for more.

    Kashmir Shrimp

This place is my number 1 restaurant in Dallas! Best dish in Dallas.. the Kashmir shrimp, and the best babaganoush I've ever had! Family owned, and you can tell their hearts and passion are in the food they serve! I can't get enough! I always get the Greek salad & Babaganoush to start, and I never miss the Kashmir Shrimp! If you are looking for true, authentic Lebanese food. Look no further, and do yourself a favor and eat here!

This place has become a Sunday lunch special for me. The food is delicious and healthy. Service is good and it still has a small restaurant atmosphere similar to if you were in Greece.

By far the best Hummus you can get in Dallas. It gives restaurants in the Middle East tough competition.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!

Every single dish was PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned. The chicken and veggies were seasoned with just enough spices where it had a slight kick, but not overpowering at all. A perfect balance to bring out the natural flavors of each item. The pita was perfection! Soft and warm, with a slight char on some of the pieces, which added such a beautiful bite with the hummus. Speaking of hummus, the Izmir hummus was silky smooth and incredible. I've had a lot of restaurant hummus and this one was MILES in ahead of them. It also paired beautifully with all of the other items. A flawless base. I cannot wait to come back here! Marcelo was an amazing waiter and even gave us recommendations for next time.

I'm not usually a desert eater, but their Tiramisu is to die for! The service is spot on, as if they anticipate your needs, but not intrusive. On the way out they give the ladies a rose, a nice touch. I see why this place has become the beloved Dallas institution it is. I can't wait to go back!

It was my first time having the lahmacun and to say it's a Mediterranean pizza is really an injustice. It looks like one but there's no cheese, and the dough is actually thinner and not as crispy but it's absolutely scrumptious. It's topped with a tiny salad of tomato, onions, parsley and perhaps sumac, but I had to add a bit of salt to that. The service was great and a bit uneven as it got busier, but they were friendly and helpful. I did make a reservation, which is recommended.

The Ezme was delicious and very fresh but takeout did not include table bread that you usually use to dip in the Ezme. The way it was provided, the only way to eat it is with a spoon, I guess, like a cold soup. The lamb shish was not as tender, and the bread was tough and chewy. Very hard to chew. Ordering lamb shish in the restaurant was a completely different and much more delicious experience; especially when the bread is fresh and hot. The cheese pide was delicious. The cheese was flavorful, and the bread was flavorful and tender. I would order it again. Dessert was the best thing we ordered. The Apple baklava is just amazing and I can't recommend it enough. Although I seemed to remember when I had this at the restaurant, it came with a scoop of ice cream, which is not probably feasible for to go. I guess the bottom line is I will look forward to when I return to Selda restaurant, but it's unlikely I will order takeout again given this experience.
