I've gone here for brunch and dinner and have enjoyed myself both times! This is your typical Italian place, it's easy to get a reservation and the servers are accommodating of needs. It can get a little loud inside but it's fun!

Food is average and the ambiance is simple. They have a bar and plenty of seating. The food was not the best Italian in town. I did get a cake for my birthday and it was great. Service is a bit slow but he was very professional and helpful.

Cute spot. Came here after an improv show. Ordered a few items, which were all pretty good. We ordered the bread, and high was definitely dry... and didn't come with any sauce so we had to ask for marinara. Marinara should automatically come with the bread tbh. We also ordered the meatballs and they were okay. They reminded me of chef boyardi canned meatballs, small and not too flavorful. The fries were good and the fried corn balls were good. Overall, it was pretty decent. The food we ordered was okay but nothing too special. The service was okay. We came toward closing time, so I feel like the staff were in the middle of cleaning. There was ample seating both at the bar and in the restaurant. Looked like it gets busy!

Visited for the first time, due to being in the area for an event. Stopped by during happy hour, which is honored at the bar and outside. Ordered the Caesar salad, sliders, fries and pizza to split with a friend. Everything was delicious, along with the drinks. We had their versions of a mule and a spicy mezcal margarita. The service was fast and attentive. I was surprised the establishment was so empty. I will definitely return.

Delicious food and a beautiful atmosphere. We were in a group of about 15 people and we were served pretty reasonably. It took a little long to place the order, but it came quick. They do a great job for brunch with unlimited mimosa service and delicious sweet breads. But obviously at an Italian restaurant I also had to order pasta. The Bolognese lunch portion was delicious. They did charge for the fortune which I didn't notice until after we left. I will definitely be returning.

I decided to revisit this restaurant after a bad experience from a year prior. The AC was out, which was a hindrance, but the Restaurant did the best to work with our large group. Overall, I would say my opinion of the food improved significantly. I ordered one of the brunch, entrées, specifically the egg white omelette. It was absolutely delicious, I ate every bite and completely enjoyed it. What was missing, though was the service aspect. Our server was mostly absent despite our large table size and the restaurant being mostly empty. At first, we were somewhat joking about not seeing them often, but after waiting about 20 or so minutes to order, someone actually had to get up from the table to ask if we could order...and even that after that, we didn't see our server for another 15 or so minutes. This was a trend that continued...empty glasses sat empty until we could get someone's attention--we were sat in the very back so it felt like while we weren't directly being ignored, we were in a sense being ignored. So, despite thinking the food was great, service again was just an absolute huge miss for me. For how empty the restaurant, it's a little baffling why we didn't receive better service.

Stopped by Sette Osteria for brunch with friends during Howard Homecoming weekend. Forgot to take photos of the food I had such a great time. We sat inside as our group was on the larger end with 8 people. Restaurant decor was modern with lots of windows to bring in natural light during the day. Our water Oz was friendly and attentive. Handled every request we threw his way and then some. My friends tend to be demanding especially when food is involved . We opted for bottomless drinks at $20 pp I think it may be the cheapest in the city! You can choose unlimited mimosas or Bellinis. Apps we selected were arancini, and a couple of Cesar salads. Entrees were spicy rigatoni and crab cake sandwich. The pasta was great but the crab cake sandwich really surprised me. Not only full of crab meat but amazing flavor. My friends ordered an assortment of other pastas I don't recall but everyone enjoyed the food.

Authentic Italian Cuisine found in Washington, DC here at Sette Osteria! A cozy atmosphere to enjoy your meal consisting of fantastic entrees and cocktails!

My experience was amazing. From the time we walked in the door everyone showed great customer service. I hosted a friendsgiving there and had a box of gifts. They put them in a safe place until I needed them. The server was on point .... we never had to look for her. The manager was great. He had such great energy and came to check on us throughout the evening. He was a 10/10. Lastly the food was great!!!! I found my new spot.

We visited Sette Osteria on a Friday to enjoy Italian night with some good food and drinks! This was the only place that was accepting large parties and hence we picked up Sette Osteria. We started off with some complimentary freshly baked bread and ordered a Rigatoni, veggie pizza and a side of sautéed mushrooms. My friend also ordered a seafood platter, that included salmon, and shrimp and calamari. My friends also ordered a Pinot and red wine which they said complimented well with the food. Everything tasted good, the Rigatoni was creamy and had a tint of spiciness which I enjoyed! Overall, a decent place if you're looking for good food and drinks. P.S. We did not know that there are two locations for Sette Osteria, so make sure to confirm which one you're booking as we messed up a bit with our planning! :)

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

I grab and use in their entirety both the orange-y hot sauce and the green sauce every time while adding hatch chiles to the simplistico burrito. I've shown several other people this place and they loved it as well. When it turns to side door they make some bomb Detroit style pizza. I truly haven't had a bad example of the style yet. I don't know if I'm selecting well or if it's maybe just low key the ultimate style of pizza but this is yet another fantastic example. It's just a small, quick takeout place for the most part, though there is some seating outside when the weather is appropriate. As such, service is generally to the point which is fine by me.

This Is Detroit-Style Pizza, So Don't Expect New York Style. It's Thick, With A Generous Amount Of Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. Honestly, It Almost Felt Like A Cheesy Bread Situation But In A Good Way. The Crust Was Buttery With A Slight Crisp On The Outside & Soft Inside, Which Was The Perfect Balance. The Ingredients Tasted Fresh, & It Was Very Filling. The Size I Got Came With 4 Slices, & Honestly, 2 Slices Was More Than Enough. I'd Definitely Come Back & Bring My Son This Feels Like A Spot He'd Love, Especially If He's Into Breadsticks & Cheesy Pizza. The Staff Was Decent, Though I Didn't Interact Much. The Overall Setup Is Interesting, A Full Restaurant Vibe Inside With This Separate Pizza Concept On The Side. Different, But It Works. When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
