Great fast fresh baked pizza under 3 minutes! After being out and about during the 4th of July. I made near my hotel and I decided to get a pizza! Affordable, fast, fresh and delicious! (AFFD)! It is not a fancy restaurant but it is good. It is made to order, so tone side it is to submit your order on the spot (left) and the other if you placed your order ahead of time (right). I had the ham and bacon pizza ! If you are hangry and want something fast, fresh, delicious, this is your place! read more

Was nearby and looking for something quick. This was a great option. Service was quick and very friendly. I ordered a chicken pesto pizza. It was pretty good. I've had better sure but this wasnt the worst. They have wings but I didn't try any. If I'm ever in this area, I would order from here again. read more

They have vegan cheese, therefore, I had to give it a try!! The pizza was very good, and I loved the variety of toppings. I've tasted better quality vegan cheese but overall, I would definitely return. Good service, good food, reasonable prices. read more

A good pizza at a not bad price. We grabbed a couple pizzas from here to give it a try. Really liked that the create your own concept is their primary thing. Pick your toppings, have a super brief wait, and be on your way. It's not fancy or gourmet - and they don't pretend that it is. It's just some good, average pizza. Absolutely satisfied the craving. And better than the massive chain pizza places. read more

I came here for the very first time today. I ordered a custom pizza with pepperoni. When I first came in I was a bit confused on what to order. I was walking around lol in circles. The nice lady at the register told me I needed to put down what I wanted on the little paper up front. They have hi lighters you use to mark what toppings you would like to add to your pizza. I handed it to the woman at the register and she started making my pizza. Again, I was confused where to go next. I went to the register up front and I was supposed to go to the register in the back to pay and pick up my pizza :) I had no clue lol! But when I did finally get it together it was really good. I love the crisp on the crust and the pepperoni. I will probably come back again and try another pizza and toppings. read more

If you're looking for an affordable lunch option, DC Pizza is perfect. The personal pizzas are a good size and there are plenty of good options. I usually eat half and save the other half for lunch the next day. The DC Mambo is one of my favorites. The sauce has a nice balance and the crust is always just as crispy I like. They have a nice variety of different sauces and toppings to meet anyone's need. They're perfect for personal pizzas and larger pizzas. A solid plus is they're open late on the weekends! I typically order online for pickup but there few times I've stopped in store, service is quick the staff is friendly. There are even few seats inside if you want to eat there. Definitely a downtown staple for me. read more

We were staying around the Dupont Circle neighborhood and wanted a quick pizza lunch pick up. DC Pizza was close by and had decent Yelp! ratings, and so we gave it a try. It was a fun experience... The setup is very efficient. Once you walk in, you pick up an ordering sheet to fill out. You can build your own or choose one of their few preselected combos. Then you head to the left and hand over your order form to the staff at the first station. Within less than 10 minutes, your pizza passes through each station wrapping around the store in clockwise fashion til you get to the cashier to pay for your pizza. They'll call your number and your pizza is ready all boxed up to go. A 10 minute walk back to our hotel and the pizzas were still hot, fresh and crispy with the thin crust...just the way I like it! read more

DC Pizza is my go to pizza place when I am visiting DC. Their pizza is consistent and delicious! The large is very large and can last a couple of meals. They are also not shy about giving you a ton of ingredients. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is the price is a little crazy. I paid $45 for Large Vegetarian pizza. Yikes!! I will most likely still come here, but opt for the slices instead of the entire pizza. read more

Good pizza, great prices. The concept is really cool. You basically order like a "Subway" style and they make your pizza right there at the counter. I opted for The Marty which has: Naturally Sweet Tomato Sauce Three Cheese Blend Banana Peppers Pineapple Pepperoni Sausage Sweet Red Chili Sauce (finish) I loved the flavors together and it was fresh and hot! The cheese was wonderful and plentiful. The sweet chili finish was a great complement. My friend made her own pizza and admittedly didn't have as much cheese as mine did. It also took them longer than the promised "3 minutes" (maybe 10/15). Maybe just a one-off? I'd definitely recommend DC pizza for a quick and tasty option. You really can't beat it for the price and convenience! read more

I would've loved this place for my own love for pizza before. Unfortunately with my family having to go gluten free and dairy free (GFDF), having pizza is just not the same. I'm glad DC pizza has an option for persons needing the same dietary restrictions. My son wanted a pineapple pizza. He was thrilled to 1. get GFDF pizza, 2. watch them make the pizza, and 3. eat it while it's hot! I tasted it thinking it won't be that good cuz my experience with plant based cheese has not been meh - it was actually pretty good. It was too toasted though so maybe next time I'd ask that when making the gluten free pizza to either run it shorter in the oven or lower the heat. I lie, one more thing, it was pretty pricey for opting for GF and vegan cheese. Like $5 more. The cash register saw my shock of the price so she offered I take two cookies for my two kiddos. It was a generous and kind gesture. I sadly declined because they weren't gluten free but it was still very sweet of her. I'd come back for the GFDF pizza for my son again. The place was tight inside. It could probably seat 5-7 people inside. There were definitely a lot more seating in the outdoor area. read more

Custom individual and large pizzas. I ordered the build your own with pesto sauce, sausage, pepperoni, red peppers and mushrooms with a drizzle of ranch, basil and sundried tomatoes! Chef's kiss! So delicious. The crust is chewy but crispy and the pizza comes hot and fresh out of the oven. Pro tip: visit in Tuesdays for a sweet treat on the house! read more

Consistency is key. Yesterday I ordered a pizza for delivery via grubhub, it said 55 minutes, arrived in 20, and was outstanding. Today, on the other hand, I ordered via their website, the order was supposed to be there by 5 of the hour and arrived 5 after the hour, and to add injury to insult, was missing one of my toppings. Food - The pizza was off somehow as well -- yesterday was crisp and tasty, today tasted more burnt and not cohesive. Maybe it was the missing topping ingredient, but there was definitely something off about today's pie. Delivery - The driver was friendly and, once the pizza left the pizzeria, he was quick to deliver. I normally give places 3 tries, but when I'm traveling I have to settle for one or two visits to prove it's worth and tastiness, and to be honest, this place gets 4 stars, just didn't hold up to the standard. read more

This pizza was the saving grace of working 15 hour days. In DC, no less. Meeting meeting meeting... seemingly never ending. Finest kind. Probably the very best pizza I've had since leaving NY's East Village (or Manhattan, for that matter). Maybe better. A bunch of us ordered pizzas because I had the feeling that this would not only be lunch, but the promise of cold pizza for dinner as well. Maybe breakfast, too. (Hey... I was a college student -- long ago -- and would have starved had it not been for cold pizza slices for breakfast and lunch the next day.) I know pizza, especially good pizza. This isn't good: it's superlative! Excellent sauce, perfectly spiced. Perfect crust, too, perfectly baked. Doesn't get any better than that! Wish I could tell those of you reading this which was the best. They all were. The only thing that would have made the pizza better would be if someone else paid for it... a Washington, DC tradition. Just ask anyone from Congress... read more

During a layover between meetings, I stumbled into this pizza joint expecting just fuel - but left with a new standard for customized pies. Their build-your-own system isn't just a gimmick; it's an art form where even my gluten-free colleague found nirvana. What Makes It Exceptional: Crust Alchemy - Golden crispness giving way to airy chew (no sad cracker-thin imposters here) Topping Orchestra - Where else does nduja play nice with roasted peaches? Ask about the "Chef's Wild Card" combo The Sauce Whisperers - Counter staff who diagnose your mood and prescribe perfect bases (white garlic for my jetlag won) Corporate Traveler Hack: Order the "Power Lunch Special" - personal pizza + salad that actually fits between back-to-back Zooms. Why 5 Stars? They transformed my cynical "airport pizza" expectations into a legit reason to book DC meetings. (My team now demands I bring back their signature spicy honey.) read more

I was in the mood for pizza, so I tried this place. I ordered via Doordash, paid to have it straight delivered here, and it took about an hour to arrive. Unfortunately, the pizza was no longer hot, but it was worth the wait. The driver even apologized for the delay due to the traffic (no biggie, I even gave him an extra tip for the commute). Now on to the food. My family enjoyed the pepperoni pizza and said it was pretty tasty. But the star of the show was the Honey Sriracha Chicken pizza! The different flavors meshed so well together. I enjoyed every bit of it, down to the thinly layered crust. If you're undecided on what to get, let this be a sign and give the honey Sriracha chicken pizza a try; you won't be disappointed. Pros -great flavors -consistent taste -they gave me a free brownie & two cans of Coca-Cola Cons - none. I wish they were closer to me read more

Very solid pizza, good value, would order again!! For ~$12, the smaller thin pizza was filling and tasty. It's easy to build your own pizza and it was quick to arrive. I built 2 pizzas 2 toppings each and they were both great. I wish there were more sausage and banana peppers but it wasn't a big deal. I ordered honey topping on the mushroom one and the taste was hardly there. However on the sausage one, I got the chili topping and that was a great blend of spicy and sweet! read more

Ordered as a late night pizza option, included the name and address of the hotel, waited an hour for delivery only to get a call from someone who didn't speak English at all and left the pizza Nextdoor and outside. When we finally received the random picture of where the pizza was, it was gone by the time we tried to hunt it down. The only solution that the company could provide was to place another order and wait another hour to maybe receive a pizza. I'm disappointed bc the reviews had me really interested in trying the chicken sriracha pizza, it's just too bad that it was never delivered to me. And I'm still hungry and pissed! read more

We were looking for a quick spot to grab a bite to eat after a long day of sightseeing. I settled on this place because of their great reviews as well as their ability to accommodate a gluten-free dietary restriction. It was also just a few minutes walk from our hotel. When we arrived, there was one party waiting for their pizza to finish cooking and one party ahead of us to order. The ordering process is clearly indicated in multiple places. Once we decided on our orders, we handed them off to be made, got our drinks, and paid for our food. All of the pizzas were done quickly and made just as requested. Although, there is a long counter flanking one side of the restaurant, we opted to sit outside. All of our pizzas were very good. And they were a good size. I was able to split one with my daughter and still be full. Clearly we made the right choice. Pro-tip: They have a rewards program you can sign up for at the register. read more

The ordering process was clear and easy, the line moved smoothly, business was operating well despite being busy, and the crew members actually looked like they were enjoying their jobs rather than just transactionally trying to get to the end of a work day. The combination of toppings I ordered on my pizza I'm sure the whole Yelp community would be disgusted by---jalapenos, pineapple, kalamata olives, and garlic---but trust me it was incredibly delicious! Fresh, hot, flavorful, crispy where it should be, packed with flavor, and each bite was as amazing as the next. The size is bigger than the pizza at &Pizza, a popular competitor. For $12.99, this is reasonable for made-to-order downtown DC pizza. The customer service was also fantastic and notable. I'm not sure if it is local or family owned but it sure felt like it. The cashier was genuine and affable and signed me up for a loyalty account, which I eagerly agreed to. I definitely recommend it! DC Pizza gets my Yelp Stamp of Approval! read more
