Wow! This place has really amazing fusion pizza. I was skeptical but so glad I ordered from here. Had the chicken tandoori and it was fresh, spicy and delicious. Can't wait to try their other pies.

We got a menu for this restaurant while on a walk, and were super intrigued by the fusion pizzas. Today we ordered the butter chicken pizza from a delivery service and it did not disappoint! Seriously the perfect balance of flavors and we cannot wait to come and try more of their pizzas!

Every pizza I've had here is delicious! My favorites are the tandoori chicken and the butter chicken.

Great pizzas. We tried the Margarita, Tandoori Chicken, and Paneer. It was delicious and the delivery came in a reasonable amount of time.

As someone who spent the first 18 years of my life in Chicago, I was disappointed with how much Giordano's has changed. Della Barba, on the other hand, absolutely got Chicago-style pizza right. We started with the Caesar salad, and it was outstanding. Honestly, it could compete with the Caesar salads served at some of the best steakhouses. Fresh, flavorful, and one of the best I've had in a long time. The pizza was the star of the meal. It was excellent and would hold its own in Chicago. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. The crust, sauce, cheese, and overall flavor were exactly what I was hoping for. If someone told me this place was in Chicago, I'd believe them. Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the food. Our waitress, who had purple hair, came across as rude, unfriendly, and seemed genuinely annoyed to be serving us. What made it even more frustrating was watching her warmly greet and interact with the table seated after us. Maybe she was just having an off moment, but whatever the reason, it definitely took away from the experience. Overall, I'd absolutely go back because the food was that good. The Caesar salad and pizza are worth the trip. I just hope the service is better next time because the kitchen deserves much higher marks than the front of the house. The actual time is over 3 hours (and, literally, after the restaurant had closed). I understand that there is pretty much nothing restaurants can do about delivery times with services like DoorDash. But this was one of the craziest and most annoying delivery experiences I've had. (And no, it wasn't the deep dish / Chicago-style pizzas that I ordered. I know those have a long cook time.) And then the pizza was cold and didn't even taste good. That was the biggest thing - it wasn't even any good. Clearly should've ordered from somewhere else. Tried two different pizzas and wasn't a fan of either. Everything tasted off - the crust, the cheese, the toppings. Now maybe it was an off night. Maybe it's better in the restaurant. Maybe the Chicago-style from here is better. I just don't know if I'm willing to take a chance on it again.

Street Parking Only & It's Definitely Hit Or Miss. I Got Lucky & Found A Spot, But It Is Metered So Be Prepared To Pay. This Spot Is Literally A "Side Door" Located On The Side Of Scarlet Oak. Super Unique Setup With Cool Lights That Make It Easy To Spot. It's Different From Your Typical Pizza Place, Which I Actually Liked. Since It Was Monday, They Had Half-Off Pizzas If You Dine In & I Had To Take Advantage Of That. CHEESE PIZZA I Ordered A Cheese Pizza & Lemon Water. This Is Detroit-Style Pizza, So Don't Expect New York Style. It's Thick, With A Generous Amount Of Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. Honestly, It Almost Felt Like A Cheesy Bread Situation But In A Good Way. The Crust Was Buttery With A Slight Crisp On The Outside & Soft Inside, Which Was The Perfect Balance. The Ingredients Tasted Fresh, & It Was Very Filling. The Size I Got Came With 4 Slices, & Honestly, 2 Slices Was More Than Enough. I'd Definitely Come Back & Bring My Son This Feels Like A Spot He'd Love, Especially If He's Into Breadsticks & Cheesy Pizza. The Staff Was Decent, Though I Didn't Interact Much. The Overall Setup Is Interesting, A Full Restaurant Vibe Inside With This Separate Pizza Concept On The Side. Different, But It Works. I'm Glad I Finally Tried It, Unique Setup, Solid Detroit-Style Pizza, & A Great Deal If You Catch It On The Right Day. Just Have To Be In The Mood For Detroit-Style Pizza.

Speaking of orders, I recently experienced an issue with my online order using the Toast Tab app, and somehow the Toast Tab app (inadvertently?) changed my order pickup dates when I made an edit to the order within the Toast Tab app. Fortunately, I was able to speak on the phone with the WTP's wonderful manager, Patricia, who is a role model for exceptional customer service, and helped me resolve the order mixup. Without her prompt and professional assistance, I could've potentially lost $133 on the Toast Tab app order, which meant I would've had to spend another $133 for a new (duplicate) order. If you're a pizza fan (who isn't?!), I highly recommend We The Pizza! I also highly recommend avoiding using the Toast Tab app, which is temperamental; it's much easier and quicker to just call the WTP location you're ordering from, and place an order over the phone with one of the WTP staff.

My biggest pet peeve about NY style pizza places is that it's impossible to snag a hot slice out of the oven. When the pipping hot pizza is taken out of the oven, it's tucked under the display case. By the time the pizza pie is depleted from the display case, the hidden pizza gets cold as it's finally moved up. The cycle repeats itself...so you can never get a hot fresh slice of pizza. The Garlic Knots were hands-down the best part of my oil! I wish I could order a single knot as I didn't really want 3 knots. While the Chicken and Eggplant Parm are heavily promoted on flyers at the tables, I didn't see them on the menu, it would have been helpful to see before ordering. There's plenty of seating upstairs. Decent neighborhood spot to grab a slice of pizza.
