Bomb, bomb, bomb!! It saddens me that I live literally across the continent from this gem!! Such a fantastic pizza this is. It was very cheesy and gooey and freaking huge! Honestly, this is the best damn pepperoni pizza I've had in the DMV. Get it fresh and you'll be in loveeeeeee. My dope boss orders this for us at my fun part-time job and we love it. The pepperoni is my fave but listen, the cheese and sauce is just good so toppings probs don't matter. The crust is just right. Not soggy, not too crunchy, just a good bite. The slices are big and satisfying, and everything tastes fresh without trying too hard. No greasy mess, no weird sweetness in the sauce. Just solid pizza that hits every single time. Duccini's is that spot you start craving out of nowhere. No frills, just fire pizza. read more

Been here once and I think it's okay. The best thing is that they give you a giant slice of pizza for around 10$. The pizza is okay for what it is. This place is designed for take out but there are a few tables but it is pretty cramp. Service is okay as you order from the front desk and wait. read more

You get a jumbo slice; he gets a jumbo slice; she gets a jumbo slice; EVERYONE GETS A JUMBO SLICE. After having a few cocktails at a few local spots in the area, Duccini's and its large slices of pizza are like a fountain of youth. Pizza slices start at around $6 and increase based on the amount of toppings. I'll say that this $6 deal is pretty decent especially when you consider that the pizza slices are the size of many places' small pizza pies. Although Duccini's seems more like an order and go type of place, the pizzeria does has a few chairs where you can eat your jumbo slice. Overall, I thought the service was pretty top-notch, and I think preparation time was about five minutes. Also, my pizza slice was pretty yummy. Was it the best thing that I ever had? No, but it was darn good. Would I visit again? That would be a resounding YES! read more

I normally don't leave reviews on to go places, however when I was very hungry, Diccinis really did come through! We got two slices, not expecting 1 slice to be the size of a normal medium pizza. They were HUGE, but great! Not great seating but that was okay because they had some high tops. read more

This is my to go to spot when I want really good New York style pizza in Washington DC. This small diamond in DC is my first place to eat when visiting. Wanted a jumbo slice and boy am I happy I found this place! Perfectly seasoned, crispy crust and fresh toppings flamed this a 10 outta 10 definitely recommend spot!! The staff were so extremely helpful and even gave me a drink while waiting!! The is a counter and stools but only for a few people. Not that big inside so maybe order, grab and go! The quintessential open-way-too-late, greasier-than-greasy jumbo slice pizza. Just the right about of terrible for you on a late night drinking, or a late night hungry. You definitely should be good with one slice, it'll be the size of 2-3 depending on what pizza you're used to eating. Recently I do feel like it's betting more expensive than I remember - a slice of cheese and a slice with 3 toppings rang me up over $20, which I think is still great value but never had to break a $20 before this year. They also deliver so just call and they'll hook you up. One jumbo pizza will feed like 10 people, it's pretty bomb. read more

Being a New Yorker in DC, it's really been a quest to find gooooood pizza. It's taken me 12 years but I can share that Duccini's makes me feel like I'm in Brooklyn. From the limited seating, to the several orders coming in at the same time, there's a reason they've been around for so long. Their jumbo slices are about average price for the area but they are truly worth it. I especially enjoy the fact that I can never finish the whole slice and have leftovers for the next day! This is the best spot on a Friday or Saturday night for a slice and a soda. read more

I went here randomly last night... not only was the guy who took my order insanely nice... but the large Cheese pizza was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The whole Dave Portnoy ordering only cheese at pizza spots has gotten me to try that method... I highly highly highly recommend going here... the pizza was BEYOND fantastic! Hole in the wall local pizza joint for massive (and I mean massive) slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza. Open late, don't go too early (we showed up at 11:30am on a weekday and were told 25 minutes to pizza!), very affordable, totally worth it once in a while. Talk about guilty, glutton joy! Duccini's passes all marks for me and hits the spot when it comes to getting a good, jumbo big slice in the DMV! It's also the perfect fix for those late nights or when hanging around the bar scene of the U Street Corridor / Adman's Morgan area in DC. I'm talking hot melted cheese, greasy pepperoni, crispy crust..... & a slice that literally can barely fit in the box! If there is a rival that takes me back to the reminiscent era of that good ol' greasy, flavor popping classic "high school cafeteria pizza" of back in the day....this is it!! Saucy, seemingly twice-cooked cheese, meaty pepperoni cups and a crust with a snap to the bite!......doesn't get any better than that!! Ordering is fast and simple. You walk in and choose from three options of: cheese pizza, pepperoni, or supreme. It's that simple. My go-to is the cheese pizza and pepperoni! Personally speaking, the supreme pizza is not worth it to me. The supreme topping pizza is offered as a big slice but be warned..... this pizza will set you back, about $15 a slice! You might as well order a whole pizza from somewhere for that price. Sorry Duccini's..... it's a bit pricey for me. But, all in all, great pizza and lots of food options here. Besides the big slice pizza....they sell whole pizzas, salads, pasta dishes, stromboli, gyros, subs and even desserts. The customer service is great as well and always friendly people here. The store front is mostly takeout, with a few bar-like table stands/stools for eating inside. Super cute little pizza shop. Been a couple times and both times I've been unable to take a picture of my pizza for about ten bucks I get a huge slice and a soda. If you want greasy, cheesy pizza this is your spot! The girl at the counter is so sweet and it's always pretty clean inside. This pizza was the absolute truth!!! The fact that this place open late and not just midnight late, 3/4 in the morning open late. Which made this the perfect spot to visit after a night in the district. I had the medium pepperoni pizza. The slices were large, and the pizza was flavorful and thick. The crust was amazing as well. I usually go to Adams Morgan for my jumbo slices but I wanted to try a place we haven't tried before. This was our first time trying Duccini's. It was a bit salty, however, the sauce and dough made up for the saltiness of either the cheese or the beef pepperoni. The pizza slice gets a bit greasy towards the end but that's what makes the very last bit delicious. I didn't go to the place in person. I had the pizza slices picked up by my husband. He described the establishment as, "Clean, Friendly and Fast Service, and a Short Wait Time." This establishment is rated 4 Stars. read more

Duccini's is dead to me now!!!! I haven't been to Duccini's since pre covid when the pizza was BIG, hot, cheese gooey, and pepperoni cupping. Now the pizza taste like it's frozen pizza, I've had better Digiorno frozen pizza. Tried a "cheesesteak" w/ribeye not to be confused with the Philadelphia style which is sirloin, ask the guy at the counter about it and it's all the same meat which tasted flat, flavorless and so chopped it had no texture. Also got Buffalo wings which were just wings with hot sauce. read more

Customer service was top-tier. Made me glad to spend my money. The restaurant was very clean. The bathroom was clean and all the toiletries were stocked. He didn't wear gloves but he was careful not to touch any of the food. He made sure that the utensils did the work. The parking lot was clean. The cooking/prep area was clean as well. read more

On a visit to DC we were just looking for really decent, uncomplicated pizza. The food was amazing. Our party tried both a whole pizza and individual (huge) slices. Satisfaction on all accounts. The service was good. We were there during a pretty busy time and had no issues with wait times. The staff was friendly. This place isn't really a place to sit and eat. There are two small bar areas where 4 people can sit, but it feels.more like a waiting area. With other people in the small front of the store ordering or waiting, it was pretty crowded. There are two small tables outside. Unfortunately, nothing we read or researched before choosing Duccini's gave us an indication that it wasn't set up for indoor seating. Other than that, we really loved the food and would absolutely go back again. read more

Have you ever tried to take a group of teens out to eat. My goodness the different taste buds and likes and dislikes is unreal to keep up with and all go somewhere we will like. We settled on pizza and I found a Duccinis which was about a mile away so we could get some walking in after our long day of travel. This had to be the best decision I made to take the group. We all got an jumbo slice so they could pick toppings of their likes and get what they like. Each person got one but trust me you can share with someone. This was so fun. The slices were HUGE! Like they did not joke when they said jumbo. Not only was the price and portion reasonable but my students looooved it, I did as well. The sauce was good and that's how I judge my pizza. So yummy and the slices being so big made us all laugh and have a great time. We even came back again another night during our trip. Not only do you get a good slice of pizza but you get to have a good laugh and fun with the size. read more

We drive over an hour to get food from the U St location and things have gotten worse each time we go. This time we only ordered 50 wings but when we got home the wings were burnt. That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

I sat at the bar for over 10 mins and watched as the bar tender took orders from parties on either side of me. He never once offered to share the drink menu. I had to ask after sitting idly waiting for the pizzas. That bar tender never checked on us, but repeatedly tended to the people on either side of us. We were astonished to see him welcome people through the door as well. Overall, this was a very uncomfortable experience. The pizzas were fine, but for an inclusive space, we felt Protest Pizza was only inclusive to people of a certain hue.

We were met with a no, when we just asked out of curiosity as to why, their response was "our staff is not trained to cut into swuares" ... I just didnt know how to respond to this. The staff is always nice. This was my first time seeing the buffalo chicken pizza, and I will say the best I've ever had! Huge chunks of fried chicken, white cheese and ribbons of buffalo sauce poured through the jumbo slice. My new favorite! You can eat on the patio that has heated lamps during winter or you can grab a table or a window seat inside. They have a full bar and beers on tap. Enjoy!

More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit.
