Was so hungry the last time we went in, we forgot to take pictures of the pizza. This pizza is so yummy but their salads are also so good you almost forget you're eating a salad. They usually rotate a seasonal selection of salads so you know what you're getting is fresh and in season. For pizza, it's always so hard to just choose one or two kinds. But no matter what you decide on, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I'm a one pizza per person kinda gal, but these are for sure shareable and the ambiance is very relaxed and the staff is very nice and willing to make recommendations. Yet it was abundantly clear they were hoping no one walked in & we were told they were closing so we asked if we could order and they hesitated. We were about to leave when they said yes. We were a party of three & ordered three pizzas to share & try. They were decent and the other two really liked the dough but I actually did not care for it. They staff cleaned around us including at our table & had their music going. Then they sat on the counter and watched us, lol. Not a fun experience & we would not have bothered them had we known. Really yummy and well thought out pizza menu. We were surprised that they were divided into 3 (red, green and white pies) and took full advantage of the fact that you could have a half pie so we can try all the unique combinations. Of the green pies topped with kale, we wished it was fired a bit longer so it was crispy but the flavors were there, our table favored The Penelope side since it had a variety of flavors going on. Overall favorite was The Lucy, wouldn't expect the sweet potato topping but the salty sweet flavor pairing was really nice! While waiting for my meal at Menya, I decided to get a pie here. And I did not regret it! They have both outdoor and indoor seating, and ordering was pretty simple. Upon doing a self-order option, I got my pizza pie within 10 minutes of ordering. The service was pretty casual yet fast, and I think I ate my pizza too quick because it was so good. I also thought the pizza place had a cool look inside and could be a great venue for community hangouts or trivia. I can't say that I see the hype. True brick oven pizza that comes out hot and ready to go. The pizza is a little bit bigger than a standard medium pizza but thin crust for sure. I ordered the Pretty Pepperoni with bacon, and regular pretty pepperoni and and Margherita. They all took about 10 mintues. Hey friends! I loveeeeee pizza, especially traditional brick oven pizza. I ordered the Cheese Please. It was so delicious. My favorite part about brick oven pizza is the crunchy crust. The cheese was perfectly melted and the sauce was just enough. -Customer service was amazing! I ordered to go but chose to dine in last minute and an employee came over with a glass of water. This is the first time that I saw this place. I understand it is kind of new I was visiting my sister and I had a taste for pizza. We went in. It's a very nice place and has outside seating and a few places inside and I ordered the heavy hitter pizza which was delicious. There was not a long wait. We were the only ones inside. I believe this must be a place that gets more evening business we went around 4 o'clock. My sister got the wings. They said they were jumbo, but I questioned that because they were little tiny wings so they gave me a little more because I was like 1399. Those are not jumbo so they gave me a few more for 1199. I will not be getting those again. My sister and brother ate them. They said they were good, but I loved the pizza. I look forward to going back and trying a different pizza. Soooooo yummy! The green monster is my FAVORITE and the pretty pepperoni is my 2nd favorite. Great customer service at this and all locations I've been to from DC to NC ! It's solid pizza, especially for the DC area. I'm a little torn about not giving Timber 5 stars given how many people rave about it. Their pies are solid, especially for the DC area (where the overall quality of pizza can be...not NYC). Some of their pizzas maybe get too cute, and their margherita execution falls short, but I do really enjoy their Shirley. It's a situation where if I'm having pizza, I prefer Timber to most other options. But you're not fooling your tastebuds into thinking they're in NYC or Italy. I intentionally ventured into DC to try this place. It's a quaint neighborhood place. There's outside seating and a few spaces inside. The music was great. You order then you sit. Service was quick. I had the pulled pork empañadas which were served with some amazing sauce. The empañadas were made from the pizza dough which made them chewy. The prickly pear lemonade was super tasty. I just wish I had more lemonade and less ice. My pizza was the Pretty in Pepperoni. I would have liked more cheese and pepperoni on mine. Our favorite pizza spot in DC. The staff is always friendly when we dine in (bar seats are always the best) -- even sharing the playlist with us one time! And I love love love that they have a seasonable menu + the year-round favorites for pizza and salads (Bentley, Penelope, etc.). You can usually share one pizza and salad with 2 people, but you really should get two, and the empanadas. Not a huge fan of the butternut squash flavor, but the pork ones are fire. Pretty pleased with this place, really like their Neapolitan pizza style, really like the fluffy crust and their pizza options are pretty creative and all the flavors work really well together. I also love that you can do half and half pizzas, makes it so you can try a lot more of the options. Ended up trying 4 different halves and they were all good but particular shoutout to the worthy, great combo. Also the ice cream dessert was different but equally fun and thoughtful. Downsides, only a handful of tables which get pretty busy at peak times. But friendly staff and good prices--would definitely recommend read more

Thin-crust pizzas that are some of the best in DC! I would highly recommend the Lot, a pineapple pizza with chorizo and their delicious pineapple chups, which is similar to a pineapple chutney sauce. I also enjoyed their pulled pork empanadas and note that one can't mix and match flavors. They are all very affordable and each pizza can easily fill one person, but it might also be good to share 1 pizza per 2 people. There are a few tables inside and a few tables outside. Not as good as it once was. Also, customer service was rude. I walked in on a Sunday at 7pm and was surprised that there were zero customers inside. Not one person sitting at the tables. I waited around for a few minutes for someone to seat me, but no one came around. So I sat at a table to wait for my boyfriend who was meeting me for dinner. A man came up to me and told me I wasn't allowed to sit there unless I placed an order. I said my boyfriend is parking his car right now and I'll place an order in a few minutes. He said I wasn't allowed to sit at the table still. (In an empty restaurant). I said ok, can I order a cocktail then? He said ok. So I ordered a cocktail and he said I had to pay for it now. I asked if I could just leave the tab open since I'll be ordering pizza in a few minutes? He said no. I need to sit at the bar if I want to keep my tab open. I told him I didn't want to sit at the bar since we're going to be having dinner in a few minutes. Then I said nevermind and went outside to meet my boyfriend who was coming in. We finally were allowed to sit at a table once we ordered a pizza. I'd give the Margherita a 3/10. It was bland. We had to add salt. It was meh, nothing special. The salad dressing was pure sugar. The only thing I liked was the kale pizza with feta. The mediocre pizza and rude customer service is enough for me not to come back to. Roscoe's in Takoma Park is outstanding in every way compared to Timber. read more

The tables are communal - but we got dirty looks when we sat down next to someone... okkkkkk.... The pizza combos on the menu are pretty strange but we went with it! I got half cheese, half Penelope. The pizza came out fast despite the restaurant being pretty full. I found the plain cheese to be better than the Penelope. The crust is soft, very thin crackery with little outside crust. The sauce is on the sweet side. Cheese was nicely melted. The pesto was tasty on the Penelope side but I wasn't a fan of the paprika. Super strange on a pizza. The bacon was nice and crispy but I wish I had more mushrooms. I've had better Neapolitan style pizza elsewhere. read more

I'm not a fan of super loaded/ greasy pizza where you the toppings are falling all over the place and the second you're done with a slice you're left with the feeling of being full and greasy. I don't know how they do it but Timber's pizza is so satisfying and fluffy without leaving you with that greasy feeling! I love how the crust is incredible fluffy but still crispy and holds all the toppings and cheese perfectly together with eat bite. Also, each pizza on the menu focuses on highlighting simple ingredients without doing anything too crazy and trying to make the most out of something. It's simple but unique and the perfect combination of flavors. Service was quick and efficient we didn't have to wait too long for our orders to be ready. There's minimal seating on the inside but they also have a couple of benches outside. I got half and half and chose 'The Bentley' and 'The Shirley'. Both were equally as amazing with so much flavor in each bite and oozing of cheese. 'The Bentley' has chorizo, soppressata, and the most AMAZING spicy honey drizzled on top.
