We stopped in for Friday lunch. We started with the fried artichoke - unique with a delicious aioli. We shared the lasagna and bresaola and rucola (white) pizza recommended by our wonderful waiter Nebly. The lasagna was rich and flavorful with thick lasagna noodle. The pizza was cooked perfectly and wood fired. Cocktails were delicious as was the tiramisu. I can't wait to come back and try other things.

Not sure how this place has a Michelin bib, and has for a number of years. Came in on a Sunday; the place wasn't busy, but the service was horribly slow. We ordered the calamari type appetizer which had more chips than actual seafood. We also got the piccante pizza which was so greasy it was soggy. We'd been excited to try this spot and it was a real bummer.

Calamari and shrimp appetizer was quite tasty. Serving size exceeded expectations. Pizza tasted great and the service was fast and friendly. Dining room was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean.

Service is prompt and the food comes out quickly. It's a nice casual spot to come by with friends or even alone to watch a game. They also offer dairy-free cheese and gluten-free crust, so quite an accommodating spot for a variety of people. I tried the cacio e pepe pizza and the piccante pizza. The crust was too dense and also burnt in several spots. I can appreciate a nice char, but there were spots that were a bitter burnt black. The cacio e pepe pizza was fine but I wish there was more fresh black pepper on top. The piccante was a bit too oily for me, but I appreciated the spicy kick it had to it!

Highly recommend their happy hour deal - $25 for a margherita pizza, an arancini, a mozzarella stick, chips, and a cocktail! Just tried restaurant week with a friend; $55 for one person or $100 for two people. We got the Brussels sprouts, the eggplant appetizer, both pasta options, and pizzas. We ended up using inKind to pay for 20% off our bill. Cute spot for date night and they have a deal on wine on Wednesdays!

BLISS. Worth every second and penny (time and money). Perfect. Amazing ambiance and service. Blown away by the pizza - boom! The inside is bright and fizzy, like a spritz. Prices are more than fair and location is great. The CACIO & PEPE pizza was insane. I'd eat it every night if I could. Don't cheat yourself, you can't order anything bad here. 110 stars.

We were walking from the nearby NoMa Metro stop to our Hilton hotel and smelled this place before we saw it! Fabulous and obviously enticing! We decided to land here for dinner and SO GLAD we did. Homemade pasta and pizza, arancini, artichokes, cannoli, extensive cocktail list, and relaxed atmosphere made for a wonderful pit stop with a plan to return to try more menu items. My order of squid ink pasta was delicious and chock full of seafood, tender pasta, and a delectable sauce, which will be a meal to remember for a long, long time. Our server, Ken, was an absolute delight and made our dining experience sitting at the bar so much better. Quick with the quips! We also met one of the owners who told us he hails from Italy (Lake Como area) and recommended the Neapolitan style pizza with New York style also as an option. The Margherita pizza was reported to be phenomenal by my dining companions who raved about the light fluffy crust. We wish we were in town longer to take in more dining at this establishment. 10/10 experience!

Stellina Pizzeria has several location options in DC and VA. This was my second time visiting but first visit to the Union Market location. We ordered the ceasar salad, lasagna and a pepperoni pizza. The ceasar salad was fresh but the dressing was just a little too heavy. The pizza was good. I only had a small bite of the lasagna and it was flavorful. If you are a dessert person, try the bumbolino. Fried donuts with Nutella filling.

I had been wanting to try Stellina's. It was always packed when we walked by it in the neighborhood! We went in on a Thursday night, and we were underwhelmed with the food. The pizza tasted good but the crust was thin and floppy. You couldn't pick up a slice and eat it without rolling it into a taco shape. The burrata was served with roasted tomatoes, but we honestly like a more traditional burrata with fresh raw tomatoes. I had a nice limoncello cocktail, and that was good! I'm not sure that we'll come back because the pizza was a bit disappointing.

We went for lunch on a tuesday it wasnt too busy, the staff was great he was friendly and gave good recommendations I had the squid ink pasta with seafood and we also a pepperoni pizza. The squid ink pasta was a touch spicy which was perfect and didnt need much more condiment the seafood was delicious and fresh the whole dish was perfectly seasoned just the right unami flavor from everything it was perfect! I loved it so much I ordered another to go. The pizza was a bit burnt around edges and pepperoni was missing in few places otherwise it was really tasty! The staff recommended a good acid white wine it went well with the dish. Same for tiramisu it was made well. All in all a very delicious lunch!

    Look at this awful margherita!

Never again will I eat here! We ordered Stellina Pizzeria via UberEats as a pickup order and it was cold by the time we got upstairs. I LIVE IN THE BUILDING RIGHT ABOVE IT! Our margherita pizza was barely cooked and missing sauce and cheese. The pizza was cold when we arrived. We had to put it back in the oven once we got home to get it cooked completely.

I used to live in NoMA and got to experience when Stellina first opened near Trader Joe's. They recently took over the space next door (previously owned by Shouk) ask they have double the space AND are now offering brunch. Glad we came - we got the Cacio & Pepe and Pepperoni pies. There was a mistake with the order so our waitress asked if we wanted to try the Piccante pie for free (yes please!) - the sausage and sopressata had a good spice so we'll add it to our rotation. Glad to see their success!

They operate a deli counter in the front and a bar / speakeasy in the back. You can rent out the bar space for private events. Last night, we had the space (and a bartender!) to ourselves, along with 3-4 different types of sandwiches. There is something SPECIAL about their seeded Italian bread. The perfect flakiness and texture. I enjoyed the chicken fontina and Italian. The caprese was my least favorite--not sure if they use a balsamic or what, but the flavor wasn't coming through. Before I left, I decided to order a large chicken cheesesteak to take home for lunch the next day. It was a bit of a risk to order a hot sandwich that I would have in the fridge overnight but I heated it up in our air fryer/toaster oven for all of 10 mins and the bread was good (not soggy) and the sandwich itself was delicious. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't stop to take a photo until the last bite :) It's a decent size sandwich--I ate half for lunch (along with my own chips and veggies) and have another half for tomorrow so while it's not cheap, I think it's reasonable.

The worst part is they charged me nearly $20 for that abomination. What a rip off. I thought they were decent pre-covid, but apparently they just don't seem to care anymore. There is metered street parking and commercial lots/garages within a reasonable walking distance from here. They serve wraps, salads, and cold and hot sandwiches. I ordered the Korean Steak Sandwich. It took them about 10 to 15 minutes to prepare my sandwich. They should use a number system for order pickups because people, including myself, had difficulty determining which order they were serving. Many of the sandwich names sounded alike. My sandwich was kind of small for the price, and it wasn't very filling. It was, however, very good. It was flavorful and packed with flavor. The service was ok. It was nothing special. They did their job and did not go beyond or be overly friendly. All in all, I would recommend checking this deli out for some really good sandwiches. If you're hungry and near by, sure go get it but don't make any special trips just for this wrap. Id love to try their other options on the menu at some point!
