Yummy food! We kept it light with their three bruschettas, fresh burrata, and the richest beef meatballs I think I've ever had don't forget to check out their wine list, too

In need of a spot to yap with your girlfriends over spritzes and pizza? Then you're in luck - Lucy is an adorable spot for the summer with flavorful drinks and tasty bites. My best friend and I came here on a Saturday evening and were able to get a nice spot outside. We both ordered Aperol Spritzes and shared a deliciously cheesy Cacio e Pepe pizza. This pairing hit the spot! I loved how the pizza was wood-fired and that the various layers of toppings all worked well together. The cheese was pillowy soft and smooth - so unique! The service was speedy and accommodating. Definitely a great place to check out to enjoy the warm weather!

What an unexpected delight! After walking up 14th street looking for a place to get a pre-dinner cocktail outside, we were out of options when we stumbled upon Lucy Bar. With absolutely no expectations we ordered a Hugo Spritz and an espresso martini. I can very confidently say it's one of the best espresso martinis I've ever had! The restaurant itself was nice and low key and since it was on the fringe of the restaurant corridor we easily got a table outside and were able to enjoy the beautiful day. Service was great - overall this place is a gem.

Found this cute gem walking around the neighborhood on a Sunday. The decor is super cute and trendy with flashy lights, plants, and vintage paintings, not to mention their giant windows that open to the street and you can sit and people watch while eating. They had an apertivo menu going where we could try multiple plates and a cocktail for $27. You don't get to choose, so it's a bit of a surprise but everything is centered around Italian. While it was fun and the food was flavorful, there was a number of heavily fried and cheesy dishes, which was a bit overly heavy for me. I'd be down to try it again since it changes every week!

Stopped by for some late night drinks. They have a very nice selection of cocktails. My fave was the pursuit of passion but also really liked their basil cocktail as well. It's a bit on the pricier side but it's DC so that's no shock. It's definitely a cute spot to meet with a few friends.'

Small italian spot right off of 14th st. Good drinks and decent food. Waitress was very polite and did well to balance the busy crowd. Couldnt hurt to visit but wouldnt rush back here with all the italin spots that can be found across the city.

Cute atmosphere - gives European. Great outdoor seating. They have live jazz every once in a while too - great date spot.

Came for a pre dinner cocktail and didn't disappoint. Cute place with great decor. We sat outside on a warm and windy evening. I got the Hot Kiss (tequila style beverage) and my friend got a fernet and coke. Sidney our sever was fantastic. Def come check this place out :)

Great service and cute atmosphere. Vibe is chill and welcoming. Food was hit and miss. The salads were incredible and the lamb pasta was tasty. However the cacio e pepe is 100% not cacio e pepe. At best it's fettuccine Alfredo with some pepper. Not a lot of flavor. The veal tortellini were pretty good but super salty. The most disappointing thing was the cheese / margarita pizza. Soggy crust and the sauce was so bland. I would likely give them another chance and order differently :)

We were looking for one last place to grab some food (preferably Pizza) and a few more drinks and stumbled upon Lucy online. I grabbed some last minute reservations and we headed over. We came in a little early but they were still able to seat us at the other end of the place. It's a super bright and loud place but wasn't too big. For drinks we got the Aperol Spritz, Rum & Pear, Giulio Said No, and a glass of Prosecco. We weren't too hungry but couldn't help and check out the pizzas while we were here too. We got the Roni My Ronies, Monalizza, and the Trufflelicious to share between the four of us. I got the Rum & Pear and it was a solid drink. Slight pear flavor but could definitely taste the lemon. All the pizzas were so good. Just a perfect crust on each of them and just the right amount of toppings. If I had to pick one, it would be the Roni My Ronies. Just the right amount of cheese and pepperonis that cupped up perfectly. Service staff was on point and checked up on us a good amount. Really great atmosphere here and I would love to come back for the pizza alone!

Monalizza Pizza - mozzarella, ricotta, spicy 'nduja sausage, roasted tomatoes and Mike's hot honey.

One of my favorites pictured here is the squid ink pasta in a spicy sauce with blended shellfish. The bread crumbs on top, shellfish and pasta have the best texture combination. Cucina morini was great all around- we came for the happy hour of $7 martinis but stayed for dinner as well. The martini lounge is small but with great people watching in a beautiful space. The bar seating was all very vibey - the aesthetic of this whole place is elegant and cozy without feeling too stuffy. The Morini martini and the dirty martini were definitely our favorites, though the espresso martini was solid too. Now for dinner - we knew this spot was known for its appetizers so we started with the yellow tail crudi (ricciola), the focaccia with the side burrata, and the broccolini. Each appetizer complemented each other so well - the crudo was fresh with bright flavors, the bread was airy and light and was great with the small burrata, and the broccolini was the star of the show - spicy, charred, and exquisite. I could have easily ordered just more apps but we wanted to try some pastas as well. I appreciate that they have both small and large portions of pasta. We tried the small gramigna and the larger portion of the cappelletti. I am usually a fan of red sauces but both white sauce based pastas were some of the best I ever had. Forget some of the other Italian spots in the area, this pasta was hands down amazing. Light, easy, understandable - the flavors were there without doing too much. Both portions were fantastic and a good amount for the $$. No dessert for us - I think the apps and pastas were quite enough. Service was great, we both had a glass of wine with dinner which was tasty, and the vibes were great. Will definitely be back!

Loved the moody vibe of the wine bar, it felt very cool, cozy and sophisticated. We sat in a booth under a red light so unfortunately my food picture turned out super red. Friends loved the selection of orange wine, and we ordered mcbetty truffle fries, shrimp scampi, honey whipped goat cheese, shishito peppers, and caesar salad for 4 people. Highlights were definitely the shrimp scampi with focaccia and fries, with the goat cheese on bread as a close third. A little pricy for the portions but honestly impressed with the variety of flavors and quality of the food. Service was ok, food came out a little slower than expected. I had really hoped to pick up some pastries (miss those baked joint cupcakes!) but seems like they don't sell them in evening. I'll have to come back for brunch/lunch to get some!

We got some beef and pork mandu (dumplings) that were pretty good. 6 pieces for $10 on HH. We got two entrees, the Ddukbokgi ($28) and Yukgaejang ($29), which came with four banchan. Ddukbokgi is chewy rice cakes, gochujang, onion, and bulgogi. We thought it was only ok -- we've had better, including at Mandu in the past. Yukgaejang was a new dish for me. The menu described it as a "spicy beef stew, brisket, noodles, shiitake, bean sprouts, and egg." I expected the brisket to be sliced and recognizably brisket, but it was pulled -- it looked and tasted more like pulled pork. The dish also didn't have any noodles in it. I didn't like it. The banchan was seaweed, bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. It was okay. Service at the bar was fine.
