    Coffee and coconut cream pastry
    Chris M.

I didn't realize this was a Portuguese place until they made my coffee. I ordered a pastry and a small coffee with milk. They heated up the milk with the steamer. The coffee was too hot for me. It was good but too hot hence a reduction in one star. The pastry was good. It had coconut in it but I think Just flavor and not flakes. There were so many choices of desserts to eat. The service was good and didn't rush me and brought my food to my table. The ambiance is that of a quaint coffee shop. I would come back but let them know not to heat up the milk. I recommend this place.

I want to rave about the vibe, the ambiance and of course the cappuccino and the natas. It's such a comfy space and you feel so welcome. I'm so glad this little Portuguese coffee shop has become a neighborhood favorite, though it's down the block from a Starbucks! Skip Starbucks and go to Serra Doce!

Cute little coffee shop in downtown Summit. Really stumbled on this place as we were intending on going to the Diner. Open space and we'll lit upon entering. The servers were both very helpful. The sandwich was freshly made and flavorful. Curious about using oregano, would've been better with basil. But that's what everyone does...lol. Not disappointed at all. I would certainly go back when in the area. Field goal for the lead!

this place is very cute with great decor & a great atmosphere. lots of room to sit and do work or meet up with a friend for a coffee date. i went in for the first time today & just ordered a decaf iced coffee with almond milk & it was very watered down. i pass this coffee shop constantly & it's been on my list to go in for a while. i really wanted to love it here but i can't love a coffee shop just for their ambiance, they need to have good coffee too! i'm sure their hot coffees are great, but i wouldn't recommend iced. however, their baked goods looked v good!

Nice spot, lots of seating, friendly service. Typical coffee shop offerings, prices are in line with other local shops. The Golden Latte was a big hit -- turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and oat milk.

Such a pretty coffee shop. The service was also nice! The drinks were a bit too sweet for me and the matcha wasn't as strong as I like it to be. The drinks were all 3/5 for me

Review is for atmosphere. I work from home and found they're a quiet place with a great interior that's very instagrammable. Got a drip coffee and it was good, along with a macaroon, which was fresh. Friendly service with plenty of space.

The hot chocolate is actually really good hot chocolate and not like the liquid charcoal served in most cafes. The food is so good and very well made. Also, the couches are so comfortable and the ambience is really lovely.

It's been so long since I've have a good matcha latte from a cafe. Serra Doce hit the nail on perfecting that. In addition I got the pasteis de nata (delicious). This cafe is amazing and worth visiting if you want to work, get homework done, etc. Ambiance is amazing.

Stopped in for breakfast with my Daughter this past weekend and tried their breakfast sandwiches. Outstanding flavor and made fresh and served with a smile by the friendly ladies there. I got the Portuguese sausage with mozzarella and gravy made in a pressed grill. So flavorful and just so damn good. My Daughter had the ham, mozzarella and tomato sandwich prepared similarly and she really liked it. Coffee was delicious. We had natas (egg tarts). Which were heated up and fantastic. Got some sweets to bring home: coconut Natas; Portuguese donut; and Portuguese coconut sweet bread. All yummy although I prefer the egg tart over the coconut. Give this place a try. I'm coming back soon!

Was walking around Summit and walked past this place and it was much cuter inside than I expected. I got a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso which was good but nothing to write home about. Seems like it would be a really great place to come study or grab coffee and chat with a friend.

Nice and cute coffee shop. There message is peace, tranquility, and "good vibes only" was very clear lol. The cappuccino I had was good. This shop has a lot of sunlight to liven up your mind and body. Only thing I wish I could change is if they brought the orders to where you are seated.

Didn't love the truffles or donut, but they looked pretty

Delish baked good and sandwiches! I come here often. Photos…read moreare only a sample of what they offer!highly recommend for when you need sweet treat or want to bring a slam dunk to a party! This place knows what it's doing and then some! Everything is Always fresh always exciting!

Bake is fine. Honestly, hit or miss with those cookies, though. They have so many cookies, and you…read morethink, how do they make so many cookies every day? How do they make so many fresh cookies? It seems impossible that they could be making all of these cookies from scratch every day! I don't think they do. Because I've had some pretty stale cookies from Bake. I used to go in a lot. I know what you're thinking, why are you going in for stale cookies? Why would you go back? Why wouldn't you go to Natale's bakery in Summit? (Check out my review of them). I'll tell you why: Location, Location, Location They have a great location. So, anyway, I would go in and think, boy, I would like one of those big M&M cookies way in the back, way up on that shelf. So one day I got one. It was pretty stale. I think they forgot they had them there. They looked surprised when I asked for it. I had the bread one time. That was good. I bet they make that every day. Oh, and if you live in Summit, you can ignore this part because you are rich, my friend. And if you're a kid and you live in Summit? You are lucky because your parents are rich, my friend. Anyways So, Bake is incredibly expensive. Wow. One time true story, I bought I'm going to say a pound of cookies? (This was a while ago, don't quote me on the weight.) And the girl says that it will be, and she mumbles the price. And I think, did she say $16? That seems too low. Oh no, she said $60! For cookies. So give it a shot. I bet if you bit into your cookie while you were there, and it was stale, they would give you a new cookie. I usually take them home for dessert. Especially if you said it loud, like Hey! if you buy a cookie and it's stale. You get a new cookie? I bet they would hate that.

This has been my go-to coffee shop every weekend for the last couple of years. To put it simply,…read moretheir coffee is fantastic. Specifically, their cold brew which is extremely smooth and strong, and in my opinion you don't even need to put anything in it unless you really want something sweet, although why would you get a cold brew if that's the case lol. Also packs quite a bit of caffeine so you'll be good for the rest of the day. Their pastries are pretty solid as well, although a bit on the pricier side. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but still an ample amount of seating. It's excellent for meeting with a friend, however the tables are rather small so it is less study friendly unless you manage to snag one of the bigger tables by the entrance. Which is admittedly pretty tough to do unless you get here right when it opens or catch a lucky break when someone leaves - I speak from experience. That said, it's overall a pretty solid spot to get work done. Parking in downtown Summit is a pain in general, I usually just park in the lot and walk over. Limit is at 5 hours and you will have to walk back if you want to extend it. There might be parking available by the cafe, but I'm personally less confident on how long you can to stay before getting ticketed/booted, so do so at your own risk.

I ordered the coconut coffee which was okay, just a bit too sweet for my taste. The second time around, I looked over the menu ahead of time and tried a matcha. It was decent, but again a little sweeter than I personally prefer.
