Who doesn't love rolled ice cream? ZRolls is located on the main street of Summit and is a nicely sized ice cream shop. Upon entering, you go to the cash register to place your order and then you can watch your ice cream be made. It's always fun seeing the ingredients come together to make an adorable cup of rolls. The service was speedy, and I was sitting at the counter in no time, enjoying my vanilla fruity pebble combo with whipped cream. Although on the pricey side, the ice cream itself was delicious and a perfect treat for a warm summer day.
Great place to do hand rolled ice cream with fresh fruit, boba and other toppings. They make it right there and you can select the preset items or the custom. While the cold makes the fruit chilled and a bit frozen hard, the overall is still a delicious treat. I'll have to try the bubble tea here next time! The staff is busy, taking orders and the rolling out the ice cream, putting out a lot of to go and app orders which is good. They've been here around 6y I think.

I tried their Toffee and Coffee ice cream and it was everything, it was tasty. They have preselected suggestions or you can make your flavor. They have a big variety to choose from. Parking is available on the street. Definitely a sweet treat

My favorite menu item's their Moody Mango which arrives rolled, thick and creamy (not that sticky shit), and topped with mango popping boba, lychee jelly, and mochi- not too sweet and yummy! Then their Parfait Party which might be a good option for lactose-intolerant humans comes with blueberry and strawberry yogurt topped with walnuts, blueberries, granola, and yogurt boba- so fresh, so good! NOTES/TIPS: **During covid times, this spot remains open for takeout (masks required) and delivery via Doordash and UberEats. **Street parking available with high turnover. Also there's a municipal parking lot across the street via Woodland Ave.
First let me mention that I appreciate the employees wearing masks while taking AND making my order. It was so cool to watch him do his thing! I think it's a bit pricey, unnecessarily, but it was good. I loved the strawberry boba most, it was the perfect touch.
After lunch we decided to get ice cream down the block. There's many preset options you can choose from and customize, or make your own. We decided to share a mango madness. However we didn't want the lychee jelly and opted for graham crackers instead. The graham crackers went really well with everything. The ice cream, it was real smooth, but I would've liked a stronger mango flavor and possibly bits and pieces of mango as well. I do have to say, the ice cream doesn't melt easy. You actually have to put some strength into eating the ice cream...as if it's straight out from the freezer, unlike some other places I've gone to where the ice cream isn't as thick and melts easily. On a sidenote: they do online orders as well so you can just come to pick it up, rather than waiting in store.
I have only had rolled ice cream probably three times before, but I thought this place was amazing. When I first walked in, I realized that they have a little room filled with sticky notes inside. Out of curiosity, I walked in to look around and the sticky notes were left by all the customers who visited. I thought this was a cute idea because the owners basically allowed the customers to decorate their place for them which really caught my attention. I got the customized rolled ice cream that is $7 (including tax). I had mango ice cream as my base mixed with Ferrero chocolate and strawberry. For toppings I got lychee jelly, mango popping bubbles, mochi, condensed milk, gummy bears, and pocky. You are allowed 2 mix-ins and unlimited toppings. I was a little worried at first because I got 6 toppings and I was wondering if it would all fit in my cup. I wouldn't be surprised if they only put a little of each topping because I ordered so much. However to my surprise, they were very generous with the toppings and added as much as they could into my cup so that it wouldn't overflow. I was very grateful for that. I thought the ice cream tasted really great with all the toppings that I had added in. I have only had rolled ice cream three times previously, but with the toppings that this place had made the ice cream taste a lot better and unique. If you don't know what to order or how to customize it, they have a signature menu that you can choose from. However, there's not a lot of information about it from the menu (like what toppings they add or what is mixed in). The service was wonderful-- both the cashier and the people making the ice cream are very friendly. The cashier is very patient and eager to answer all my questions. Overall, I will definitely come back to this place if I'm in Summit.
Small place with lots of charm. Delicious large amount very sweet, bring water or purchase water. Cup is a very generous amount. Definitely can share especially for kids.
So ZRolls rolled into my life when I needed it the most! I have gone to the Harrison location three times already and just writing this review is making me crave some bubble tea from there. The flavor is rich, the boba isn't overwhelming, the staff is very nice, the price is not out of this world and the portion is perfect. Can't wait to go back and try all their flavors!

I enjoyed a Monkey Madness that includes Banana and Nutella topped with Brownie, Banana and Pocky Sticks. It was delicious and big; I'm glad I was sharing it with my niece. You must visit it. I can't wait to go back to Summit to try a new flavor.
If you're looking for a cool Instagram photo then this is your spot. They have a section with colorful post-its with peoples name on it. So come in and sign your name and become part of the colorful wall. Now for the ice cream itself; this is my favorite spot for ice cream. It's nitrogen rolled ice cream at its smoothest and finest quality. If you go to other rolled ice cream places you will notice that they make the chocolate ice cream by adding syrup to vanilla cream. But here it's pure chocolate cream.. & it tastes amazing. The employees are so sweet. I go here all the time. One specific time I went with my best friend and we saw a group of girls came in asking for a donation/volunteer help for a local community cause. The employee immediately gave them a gift card. It's so nice to see the community businesses helping the community itself.
Amazing ice cream and dessert shop! It's located in Summit, so after enjoying your treat, you can take a nice walk around the area. The menu is full of delicious options. We tried the Customized Rolled Ice Cream, where you can choose up to two mix-ins and five toppings. The service was excellent--our order was prepared quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend adding brownie bits and marshmallows to your rolled ice cream--they were a fantastic combination! Watching the ice cream being made right in front of you is really fun and interesting. It's a great experience from start to finish! read more

We stopped by twice to try ZRolls and we LOVED the ice cream. The ice cream was nice and creamy and the kids really enjoyed coming up with their own combinations. I mixed the green tea with azuki beans which was good. The kids mixed chocolate with strawberries or vanilla with OREOs. Both absolutely loved their combination!! A nice plus the toppings. They let you pick ANY topping and you can add as many as you like. Of course, the kids loved choosing their toppings. Watching the crew make our ice cream was quite entertaining and a fun part of the experience. We are very happy to have a new place to go to in town and will surely be back again soon. read more

Very cute place and very efficient service. Tons of toppings to choose from and a very good product. Pretty expensive but for such a personal item I guess I understand. Would come again if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to choose rolled icecream over regular icecream read more

Stopped by tonight to try this place out after seeing an ad on FB. I tried the Monkey Madness or at least I think that's what it was called and my fiancé had the Oreo one. It was soooo good! The place was clean and the workers are really friendly. We will be back to try something new! read more

Stopped by here after dinner at our favorite sushi place across the street. We tried the Moody Mango and the Spring Festival. The ice cream is nice and creamy, and the toppings accomany the flavors of the ice cream quite well. The staff are quick with the orders. The selection is quite large with the option to customize your own flavor and toppings, as well. Definitely a great new addition to Summit. Now we don't have to go to NYC to get our rolled ice cream fix. read more

We wanted to stop for an evening dessert and decided to try this place. It was fun and a new concept for us. We picked one from the ready options - parfait - and did one make your own. Both were delicious. It was fun to see them make it. It was a little pricey but we enjoyed the experience and the taste. The shop itself is pretty basic with white walls and a chalkboard menu. There was some seating inside. It would have been nice if there was outside seating since it was such a nice evening. Not sure if they have any. Overall a good experience and just what we were looking for! read more

Kids were excited to try the rolled ice cream here after having recently experienced it at a different place in Montclair. They loved being able to customize their orders and the unlimited toppings are always a plus! There is some seating for when it's not crowded and it's at a convenient location on the main road in town. Will definitely visit again! read more
