So very disappointed. I went in for a shellac mani/pedi and asked for the Lavender pedicure which was OK. The lavender pedicure sounded amazing (15 minute massage, exfoliation, callous removal, etc) and all that was good but the massage and actual pedicure was seriously lacking, the massage was more like he was lightly rubbing in lotion. My toes look good but for $55 and for the time it took (1+ hour), I will not return. They didn't start my manicure and I told them it was ok because I couldn't stay much longer. They insisted it would be fast so I said ok. 45 minutes later, I regret getting my nails done there at all. The lady was very sweet however, this was the worst final product of a manicure I've ever had. I told the manager and explained that I couldn't stay because I've been there for 1:45 hours at this point and she offered me $10 off the price... considering I need to have them removed and redone which will cost me more time and money, $10 off was NOT what I would call customer service. Needless to stay, I will not be returning and I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have a specific appointment with Trinity or whoever the nail unicorn is Side Note - are massage chairs are relaxing. I'm so annoyed with this place!!! The only people who are good there is the girl who does the nail art and the older people who do pedicures! My mom and I went there yesterday, love the pedicures! But our nails are bad! The young girl who did my moms kept burning her and didn't give a shit! And her nails are uneven! And mine are so uneven! One had is the length that I want but the other hand is longer! They didn't have the holo chrome that I wanted so I got something I kind of like.. but there's air bubbles. So I was really excited about getting my nails done here from seeing the pictures! I had made some appts but had to reschedule due to work. I went late on Sunday for my pedicure and was very happy they could take me (they weren't busy at the time). Kim did a wonderful job on my pedicure! Great price and great pedicure! He is highly recommended. My feet are a bit rough. So I go Tuesday for my shellac Mani with a design. I show Trinity the pic and she said she could do it. I'm excited! I was 10 min late and apologized. I was her last customer and we were done like 5 min after 7. My problem is that my nails looked rushed! I came to this salon on Saturday for a full set and pedicure. The pedicure is probably the only reason I'm giving the salon 2 stars. I had a full set done with gel polish and some "diamonds" put on. 3 days later and all the "diamonds" are falling off. I showed Thanh what I wanted done with my nails and it looked absolutely nothing like it. I don't think she realized I was Vietnamese and could understand what she was saying to the younger girl next to her that how she was doing my nails was ugly. I'm never coming here again i feel discriminated against as I came in for a full set and pedicure at 3 pm they sat me down and my feet were done at 4:14 pm a group of 5 girls walked in for pedicures and manicures the owner asked me if I still wanted my nails done I said yes please he asks me to wait for 30 minutes or to leave out of all the other people there I was the only black women who was asked to leave when I was there an hour before the other clients. The lady I had, had no idea what she was doing. Just cut imperfections off the nail polish and didn't bother to add another layer of clear polish to make the nail polish smooth after. This is your typical chop shop so I wouldn't expect too much. When I first came in I asked for an acrylic soak to remove my nails, aware that it was more because I did not want to ruin my natural nails. The nail tech used an acrylic nail and yanked the acrylics off. I kept flinching and pulling my hand away by instinct and she still continued. I don't usually speak up so that is my fault but it got to the point where I had to tell her I didn't feel comfortable with what she was doing and asked (again) for a soak off instead (which of course takes longer even though it's the correct way to remove nails). I just don't understand how you see someone in pain and continue to try and rip nails off? Anyways, they over-book and make you feel rushed, cut corners when doing your nails, speak about you in their native language and the older women aggressively give pedicures while making you feel like you, the paying customer, are an inconvenience. They are not nail artists, rather, try to do everything as quickly and cheaply (to them) as possible. They will tell you they can do what you ask for and then are unable to execute it (all for profit). Tip: if you cannot do a specific design, be honest and tell the client that. Most of the time, the client can find a design or style that you ARE able to do. Of course once in a while you'll get the nail artist that is able to do nails but it's far and few between and at times where they are not busy. I recommend going somewhere else if you're wanting designs on your nails or are picky about them in any way. There is a reason they use pictures they googled on their Instagram page. It is NOT their original work. Three stars for the atmosphere and the fact that most of the nail techs can do a basic gel application. Anything extra and they will try to talk you out of it (powder nails, ombré, etc) as it is not convenient for them. Prices are the same as most places around town. read more

It was my first and last time coming to this salon! I just moved to the area so I was looking for some great nail salon and it looks like their work is pretty good. So I made an appt and came here. Since it was my first time I didn't know who to go to. I showed the guy the design I want. I don't want it too much bling or anything it was mainly just a chrome and other color. And he gave me random prices that you can tell with the way he sound he seemed hesitant to do the design I want and start offering me other products. I was willing to pay with whatever he told me. But then I look for a much simpler design which is just French tip but all different colors since it's spring I'm trying to get some flowers on it. But he was telling me oh that'll be more extra and I don't recommend it. So I knew he couldn't draw flowers fine so go ahead and do the French tip but then he's telling me it'll be extra $10 and he said why not just do a whole color per nail it'll be $5 extra each. And I'm like whaaaaaat? Each finger? He said yea so I was like you know what let's just get something from your Instagram page that way it wouldn't be hard for them. So I finally pick a design and since he was in such rush he already put white power on one nail but I wanted yellow powder. And he told me why don't you just do nail polish it's easier? And I said no because powder lasts longer. He said he won't be able to get the same exact colo from their Instagram because they put filter on it. So THATS FALSE ADVERTISING THEN. Anyhow if u don't like being rushed by the technician then I wouldn't recommend this place. It doesn't even seem busy but they rush their customer. After Trinity reached out to me via Yelp, I decided to come back to the salon and give it another chance. This time was completely different! Henry was the gentlemen who did my nails during the first visit and did my nails again today. Again, he was very delicate and took his time. I asked for a different shape (Stiletto/pointy) and he did a phenomenal job! I LOVED how he made them super pointy just like I them and does a very good job cleaning around my cuticles. I'm a nail bitter and he was able to make my hands look less "messy". I also got a pedicure by a another lady, named Lien and she did a great! She was very careful and would ask if something was to hot. She left my feet feeling very soft and beautiful. Overall, this visit was MUCH better! Amazing work. I've gone to serenity a few times with such a great experience and this time around I was really disappointed. The first time they did great with my nails. The shape was great and I loved the way my nails turned out. I returned for a fill and my nails were okay but not my favorite only because they were REALLY thick which I am not a fan of. I went a few weeks later to get the removed and a new set. I thought my nails would turn out amazing since Trinity usually does a great job but she was SO rushed that she damaged my natural nail and made me bleed, left my nails looking frumpy and the design was off to the side of my nail. Not only did my nails come out looking like a hot mess but she over charged me as well... normally I wouldn't mind but the final result was not worth the pain and frustration. So disappointed with the quality of her work since she is such a great nail artist. Don't know if I will return ever again after all this. Less then 4 hrs later this is what my "design" nail looks like... Update: Went in today and Trinity fixed my nails and I gotta day I was super impressed. She apologized for everything and was super attentive and listened to what I had to say. She took the time to fix my nails and made the experience so much better.
