So I came in earlier today going to a wedding this weekend, I always do gel. I brought my 6 yr old daughter with me because she was begging to get her toes painted. I told them I want her to have regular polish and she told me gel is better for her I said no she can have regular she's 6 she doesn't need gel. Unfortunately, this was the worst manicure experience I have ever had. The salon itself of extremely unclean - it did not appear that the stations were cleaned between clients. The atmosphere is noisy, crowded, and unsanitary, the complete opposite of a relaxing nail care experience. The tools appeared used and not cleaned out. It took at least thirty minutes to get seated, even though i was told it would be five minutes. When I finally was seated, I noticed trash from the previous appointment was still on the station. The files used on me were all used. The nail tech put my hands in cold water, buffed my nails, and proceeded to paint them, no washing of hands, minimal filing, no cuticle remover. The tech was rough and did not listen to my requests, and was so rude. She didn't put any care or thought into the manicure. Just a deeply unpleasant, gross experience. read more

I went in this weekend and am working on a tight budget currently and so I decided to get their most cost effective pedicure, the #1, and no gel polish. Winnie was my technician and she was frustrated that she had to do this "cheap" service appointment. She asked me over 8 times if I wanted to upgrade to gel polish, where each time I politely declined. I overheard her complaining about doing this service, and her lack of care showed. Her "massage" was rubbing lotion lightly on my legs, which is not a massage. They also charged me for gel removal which they have never done before, it was supposed to be $30 for the #1 pedicure and I got charged $37. I did not complain at the time because I was already frustrated and wanted to leave as I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. The previous visits I have been here I was treated completely different, true colors show they are only in it for the money even if you are a loyal customer. I don't plan on coming back. read more

I walked in and asked him how much a regular gel pedicure was and he rudely told me to look at the sign on the wall. Baou was my nail technician and he was overall very nice and talented. Unfortunately rude and condensing front desk will make the nail techs loose new clients. When I was paying he immediately asked me if I was going to tip, which I was. He added the tip as if it was part of the service and not the actually tip. When I questioned him he tried to make me feel stupid by saying it was added but when I received the receipt the tip was blank and the charge for the service increased. I made an appointment with Kay for my special needs daughter who loves Kay. She gets so excited to get her nails done. I have tried to text Kay on her personal phone to make an appointment but she tells me to call the salon. I call the salon and make an appointment with her. We get there and when she is told her appointment is here, she yells across the salon that shes already got an appointment. So apparently they double booked us. That was not the problem. My problem was Kay angrily yelling across the salon and seeing my daughter (who she knows is special needs) standing there excited for her appointment. I come here for pedicures often & almost always have a great experience! The staff is friendly and remember you. They do not rush through pedicures & provide a good relaxing massage, which to me, is most important. All staff and customers are required to use hand sanitizer upon entering and wear a mask. Both our ladies really did a thorough job with the massage which is really what I consider making the pedicure good!! We did the deluxe which was $51 each. Honestly for California and for a good pedicure I thought this was reasonable. It included a mud mask, callus remover and scrub. I had nothing but good experiences the last 3 to 4 times that I've gone there whether it be for an event or just to get my nails done I've had a very poor experience. The nails were done in a rushed and hurried way. If I could give it 0 stars I would!! Worst experience ever. 45$ down the drain. These nails didn't even last me a week. The shape was horrible. I had to shape them at home. I asked if she recommend me getting powdered nails instead of the shellac because I didn't want them to turn yellow. She said recommended gel because it was better( yea better for them ) Well they ended up turning brown within a few days and lifted within a week!! I work in an office setting and do not smoke and I do not tan. I have gotten white nails in the past and they have never turned this color. This is due to cheap products. Overall a bad experience. You do not get lifted nails from a keyboard and a mouse within a week. Definitely will not be going back and will definitely not recommend this place at all! read more

4 stars for cleanliness. 3 stars for manicures. On my 3rd manicure at N&T. First one with Ben was GREAT so I came back. Got John the second time. John was thorough in cleaning my nails and cuticles up but there were issues. A quick wipe with some lotion was about all for massage. Offered a flower design for free which I initially declined. Decided since he was offering it for free I would take it. I felt like I hurt his feelings by declining. After he finished he said it was $5 for the flower design. Um, ok. Pass on John next time. With a 50/50 on quality between Ben and John I tried once more today. Upon arrival today, I requested a station with the UV lights so my nails would dry faster. I bring my own polish and top coat always. I am lucky to have long healthy natural nails and prefer certain polish brands. Sat at station 5 with Kim and it was a lackluster experience. Left polish residue under my fingernails from polish removal and no massage worth noting. A bit more than John but not even close to what Ben did. Polish was applied quickly and its light near the edges on my nails. It will chip sooner than later I predict. She did a cute flower design on my ring fingers. Air dried. For a $15 manicure it's not the best. Pedicures are great and it appears they do great work with fake nails. This just isn't the place for a decent manicure. Really feels like "Hurry up and get it done". It's really too bad. My mother-in-law has been coming here for years and loves it. Leann and Brandon take great care of her.
