Deluxe Nails & Spa - Natural nail gel polish and gel pedicure absolutely perfect! Mani only costed around $30 - Waxing Near Me - Modesto, California

Respectfully I would not waste money here.. I came in for a gel manicure and I didn't receive the cutting of cuticles or even soak my nails or hand lotion or nothing and she charged me $60. I basically paid $60 just for her putting nail polish on my nails.. she rushed because there was another lady waiting.. very disappointed read more

ABSOLUTE BEST NAIL SALON IN MODESTO! Fast, efficient, and true artists who take care in their work. Disregard any negative reviews about this salon because they are not true based on my experience! Honestly the pedicure and atmosphere was good. But I would not come here for acrylics. She not only snatched my hand and slapped on the beads carelessly but I felt I was an inconvenience to her. We made two appointments- full set manis and pedis my Moms feet AND nails were done before I was even acknowledged. Keep in mind she did a soak off and new set.... She did them half-fast and gave attitude when I asked if she could fix the shape of my pinky, she said she'll go back for it and never did even when I asked again. EDIT: I've gotten them professionally removed after feelings pain and puss coming from my finger. I've had the set 9 days.... read more

The nail salon was nice inside. My pedicure massage was very nice. Cutting the cuticle was okay. Only thing I didn't like was the shit talking. I'm also a nail tech. And I speak and under stand it very well. I didn't tell them I spoke and understand till the end. They have the nerve to judge me as a person from the car I drive... saying I was driving a trash can. That why I couldn't afford $15 gel . The older lady that actually did my pedicure was nice. Just the younger one with tatted eyebrow was talking too much crap. Even about her own clients she was working on. They definitely need to work on customer service. Less talking shit about clients. They also use the cheese grater type for my callous. I don't even have any callous and she broke skin with it. They must not know that's not allowed. And if state board comes. Big fine Last but not least .. they use a use nail file for my toes. Pretty nasty. Definitely not coming back. read more

My nails aren't horrible but they're not great either. We came in on a Saturday afternoon with an appointment and the salon was dead. No people on a weekend. The gal that did my nails also did my moms and she was doing our nails at the same time. Moving back and forth between both stations, which was a first lol. She was moving very quickly and it shows. I asked for almond shape & these are not almond they're rounded. I also got chrome which was an extra $15 which in my opinion is way overpriced since all she did was dip her finger in the chrome and then put it on my nail. Normally they use a little brush/sponge? Applying the chrome by finger did not fill in the whole nail. The sides of my nails and nail beds are completely missing the chrome making my nails look uneven and rushed. My cuticles were not trimmed nor pushed back so it doesn't look like a clean set. The lady who did them, Quinn was really nice and friendly but due to the quality of my nails I don't believe I'll be returning. read more

WORST SALON EVER. She got frustrated and told me to soak off my nails when i said the shaping wasn't right. i told her to remove my previous acrylic but she did not listen so when i told her the hands looked different she got upset, made me soak my hands in acetone for 30+ min and never checked on me once and told me to just there and wait and scrub them off myself. HORRIBLE SERVICE. refused to listen to me and then she came over to me as i was scrubbing off acrylic residue and she said to wash my hands and i said i already had THREE TIMES and then she's like okay go do it at home. WHAT!! This lady is insane, worst customer service i've ever experienced, literally made me cry because she ruined my nails and i have an event tomorrow. read more

If I can put a 0 for this salon I totally would cause man it's a shit show. They don't even cut your nails straight for a simple manicure. They literally have a sign saying that they charge .25 for card and yet tell you to go to atm Shitty ass place read more

Eh. I've had better and worse, brought my own gel polish. They talked crap the whole time. Made lots of jokes, so be it. Then charged full price for gel regardless. Extra $15 for what? It was my own product. Okay. Then tried to up charge for all sorts of stuff. Wax pricing was one price, then when it came down to it. They charged another. Bait and switch for sure. Not trustworthy. But okay in a pinch I suppose. Don't like the dishonesty and wavering prices. Too shifty for me. Felt like a cash cow. Then they force you to use their own atm. They want all the money. Don't care about you though. read more

I came here on a whim because my regular guy was busy and I just needed my nails offfffff. Let me start off by saying I UNDERSTAND VIETNAMESE and speak it fluently BUT I don't look like I would lol. I called and made sure they had time for me for just a gel mani which they did so I came in And was sat at Vicky's station. I had dip nails on so I asked to get them soaked off because I hate taking them off by using a tip. Vicky was not happy with me wanting to get them soaked so she tried to talk me out of it. Which I then declined so she turned to Quynh and says in Vietnamese " I'm going to let this girl sit here and soak for an hour and see how she likes it." Ok.... she then turns to me in english and says "sit here and soak" then goes and does someone's pedicure. Half an hour goes by and I'm still soaking. Quynh comes over and starts filing my nails so I ask her if she can do my gel mani when she's done with her client. She agrees. While she is shaping my nails she was super rough. She would turn to me and say something nice to me in english then turn to her bff Vicky and talk shit about me in Vietnamese. So If you're a regular here be aware that they are a bunch of shit talkers. On a plus, my gel did stay for 1.5 weeks. read more

NO AIR CONDITIONING ON 100 degree day. Little to no color options. The only bottles they have for both regular and no chip are dried up and very yucky, dirty looking. They don't carry, CND or OPI they mostly carry low brand cheap nonchip colors which look nothing like the sample once on your nails. Worse of all I took my daughter here for her first polish experience. What a mistake. Both the owner and nail tech were mean and rude. They spoke in Vietnamese which I understand. They were unkind to my 3 year old daughter and globed on polish so thick that it literally slid off even 20 minute after drying. So sad. Cherry on top of my cake. They called me a PICKY BITCH in Vietnamese because I ended up opting not to upgrade to the gel polish due to their lack of color options. This establishment is what gives Vietnamese people and business such a bad name. read more

I've been coming to this place for a year but today was definitely the last. I got the spa pedi. Everything was good until it came to the painting the toes part. I noticed the girl (idk her name) was adding way too many coats. After she was done, she didn't even add a protective coat or nothing but instead said, "thanks", and went off with another customer. I was fine with it UNTIL another lady(again don't know her name) told me, "are you going to leave now?" Uhhh I just got my toes painted? I told her nicely that I am going to wait a little until they're dried but once again, basically rushed me to pay and leave. Once I stepped inside my car, I noticed this ^. I get it that it's busy and all, but don't rush your work. I honestly would have been fine with the long wait and such. read more

Check this out that I got from the Barbers board: *Make sure the operator never uses the same tools on you that were just used on someone else without first disinfecting them. If an item cannot be disinfected (such as a nail buffer block or an emery board) it must be thrown away immediately after use. This place does not use new buffer/scrubber block or files for pedicures. They items they used on my feet they used on everyones feet. Well have no fear because I reported them in and filed a complaint. I used to do pedicures to help my friend out when she first opened her shop and you better believe you got new everything. I've been coming to this nail salon since 2009, random visits. The reason I like this salon is because they have a lot of stations for manicure and pedicure, and almost always staffed to help appointments and walk ins. I used to get wax here however those days are long gone just due to the simple fact that European wax center is in town now and I trust them a bit more with the cleanliness. This salon used to offer tanning beds, but they no longer do, due to the extensive amount of work. Price is okay, I feel like they could use a bigger color variety. But overall I like coming here and recommend it. Update- it's been 10 days since my visit and the tops of the nails have all lifted, I am now peeling off the gel, or it's chipping off. Overall I think this product wasn't the best. read more

Honestly I just don't like when businesses are so money hungry that the overbook just to get clients in- i called at 6:50 & was told to go in at 7:30-i get there and there is 2 employees working on 2 pedicures. Then 1 lady polishing toes as the pedicures are done- 4 other clients still waiting- plus my son and I- I asked what the wait time is and she said 15min- it sounded off considering 4 ppl ahead of me- so I asked if it was just the 2 employees and she said yes that the other employees had to leave on emergencies- 3 employees all had emergencies within the 40 min from my call to appointment time? Anyway I left- finding a nice salon in Modesto is so hard!!! read more

DON'T GO HERE!!!! It's the WORST nail salon I've been too. They made me wait even though I had an appt. Then when it was finally my turn, they did it so fast, without caring about the quality of their work. They don't even clean the sides or under your nails. They cut your nails uneven and don't even file it. They just LIKE to use their little sanding machine, and then wipe off before they COVER IT UP with nail polish TO HIDE or hope you won't notice how they F*'d up your nails. They don't even apply the nail polish right, there are gaps on the side and don't clean up the edges with the brush. That's because their just always rushing but THEY DON'T CARE how ugly their work is ... instead they only want get paid for doing going as many as they can do in a very short time. I was on the last leg of my vacation and needed my nails filled. Sometimes I have a hard time finding a shop that does powder nails. Upon recommendation from a family member I dropped by and gave this place a try. I was immediately greeted and there was a slight wait before I was seen. My cousin was with me and she wanted a pedicure along with her nails done so she was seen right away to begin soaking her feet. Once I got my chair time, the woman showed me her powders and had an exact match. Her pink and white ombré was really beautiful, she nailed the stiletto shape. I paid $35 for a fill, one nail art design and some glitter. When I visit the Modesto area, I won't hesitate to come back for nail service. read more

I visited the salon for a pedicure. I was informed that the technician who has provided me with a pedicure service the past year no longer works for the business. My gut instinct told me to leave and go to Nails By David Lee; however, I allowed the owner to convince me to let another technician to provide the service. As the technician was removing the gel from my left toe nail, she drilled a hole into my left toe nail causing a part of the toe nail to fall off. I should note that my left toe tail was brittle; however, I had not ever encountered a problem with the the pedicure the previous technician provided. The technician informed the owner that I came into the salon without a left toe nail. I spoke with the owner and informed her that her technician was being dishonest. I stated I came into the salon with my left toe nail intact. The owner stated she believed her technician and did not believe me. There was definitely a language barrier and it was difficult to communicate my disbelief and frustration. I left the salon and obviously will not be returning. My message to all reading this review is enter at your own risk and follow your gut instinct as I should have done. read more

Great place to go, but can get pricey once you start just like anywhere else you go these days. I easily spend $60+ on pedicure only. But they do a good job and they are super nice here. My brother went recently and liked his pedicure, however, he had an allergic reaction to the soap stuff they use in the water. Not their fault. He won't be going there anymore, but I don't have a reason to stop going. I'll be back. read more

And just after one week my middle finger nail popped off when I was just putting on my shoe which did not consist of any harsh pressure and my pinky chipped as well. And my friends nail popped off as well after 12 days and at 13 days the second Nail popped off. I made an apt at 4:15 and was not helped until 27 minutes later, the lady that helped me had dust on her hands from the previous client she helped, didn't wash her hands nothing was disinfected. Pretty disappointed. This is my go to for myself. But when I try to have a special day for my daughter and her 2 friends...it's pretty sad how they treated them. First: I made a reservation 3 days in advance. Repeated the time over the phone about 5 times because of the language barrier. 3pm, 3 girls, mani/pedis. Second: we arrive on time and are told it's at 3:30pm so they left and wouldn't be seen Third: they couldn't sit them together when they knew this was a special occasion. Fourth: every time the girls talked to each other they were told to be quiet. REALLY?! When you have your own kids there screaming and making noise, but you aren't letting the customers talk...regardless of their age, THEY ARE PAYING FOR A SERVICE! Fifth: the nails are already chipping and there is paint all over their skin. Just a sloppy cheap job. Yes, it's a Saturday, it's getting warmer outside, and nail salons are going to be busy...but don't let it show on kids just because they're kids. They deserve the same treatment as adults. I won't be going here anymore. Neither will my sisters or my friends. read more
