However, it feels like a bait and switch occurred with the cost. This is a month to month company, and you had to pay 4 months up front - that's fine, the online price with the required insurance was about $100 a month. Now, magically, after those 4 months have passed the price went up to $167 - almost double the price. I contacted them and requested a decrease and it appears they put it down to $141, but it still feels very arbitrary. Once you are "trapped" and have loaded your unit, they jack the price and say it's "market conditions." That was pretty disappointing. If the price gets jacked again, we'll be moving out and finding a different provider for storage.

I had to wash everything, after I got it out of storage. I had to throw out my rugs and bed because of the mice. The bugs lay eggs on my rug and bed. Sometimes I went there I would discover a dead mouse in my unit. I had to always throw them out. If I would have known mice would do something like that and there would be bugs. I wouldn't have put my stuff in there. It is unfair that they close at 10pm. I get off work at 9:30pm and it takes 30 minutes to get up there. By The time I get there. They are close. Full of dirt and dust and trash which had somehow gotten under the door (this is an inside unit by the way). And then: everything was covered in mouse poop. COVERED. All of our furniture had nests in it. We found multiple dead mice amongst our stuff. It was horrifying. Clearly we couldn't take a lot of the stuff, so I called the manager who basically said it wasn't their problem. She then told me it would be $350 removal fee for anything left. I said fine. Then three days later all of a sudden it was $500. We will never be using public storage again and ABSOLUTELY would not go near this location again. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

Once we got back to the office he quoted me a different price and said I was not eligible for the promotion because I rented from them 3 years ago. Even though I left in good standing. I asked why he didn't provide the standard quote for the smallest unit in the beginning he said he didn't know I rented from them before. But he quoted me the same rate from the larger unit he suggested I should get. I decided to go somewhere else. He was not helpful nor accommodating. I felt I was not going to get quality service as soon as I walked in this establishment. My instincts were accurate. Please provide better service training for your employees.
