The crew, Roberto and Harry, were empathetic, caring, and incredibly efficient with packing, loading, and unloading the one-bedroom apartment. I spent the day worrying (needlessly) that the storage unit I had rented was too small. The crew fit all of the items neatly and safely into a 5x10' unit with room to spare. I've never seen anything like it. I also want to give kudos to the front office. They were the first company to respond to my inquiry, answered all of my questions patiently, and kept us informed about when the crew was arriving. The value that we received for the price was off the charts. Put Potomac Moving Company at the top of your list. I would not hesitate to call them again for a move if the need arose.

They were flexible with us as we had to reschedule due to weather, and had several complicated moves that were handled very well. As with any move, we took care ourselves to wrap things, communicate our needs and expectations, but I would do that with any mover. Ask questions, clarify and explain what you want. All furniture was wrapped carefully with moving blankets and secured and all breakables were treated with care. I've never seen a team of people work so hard!

What should have been a straightforward move from a 3-bedroom home took 13 hours, and they still couldn't finish--forcing them to come back the next morning, while I was under extreme pressure due to a pending home sale. With 18 hours to be out of my house, Zip used the situation to triple the price, leaving me completely cornered. At one point, the police showed up at my door to question one of the movers for 30 minutes. Later, they left a single worker alone for SIX HOURS to finish the job. Completely unprofessional and unsafe. Once my belongings were picked up, I received zero updates for six weeks. No proactive communication. No tracking. No accountability. I had to escalate through three different people just to get basic help or information. And when all was said and done, Zip did absolutely nothing to make it right--no refund, no meaningful apology, no remediation--other than claiming they fired the person who originally quoted me, which does nothing for the damage, stress, or financial harm they caused. This was easily one of the most stressful and mishandled service experiences I've ever had, at a time when reliability mattered most. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, I had already packed my master bedroom and later completed the kitchen/dining room. Therefore, they completed the remaining three (3) levels and did a FANTASTIC job. I've never experience such experts with great customer service. The last movers I hired, dropped a case of Cooperhawks Wine and never replaced it. I would highly recommend this company, if you are looking for quality service. Once from Indiana to Baltimore City, and the second from Baltimore City to Michigan. The first time I moved with them, the moving coordinator I worked with was very communicative, checked in with me throughout the moving process (including when my items were being picked up), and was conscious of my anxiety levels. The second time I moved, I needed to contact Stephanie to remind her of upcoming deadlines, follow up with her when she said that she would get back to me and failed to do so, and was also unprofessional at times, uttering profanities like "retarded" in reference to the move itself when on the phone with her. What's more is that one of my inventory items never even arrived to me. They launched an audit to find the lost items but came back empty, so I guess one of their workers just walked off with it. The pay out on the audit also was less than half of what the items were valued at. Some of the items that were lost can't be replaced. Like how does something just walk off? You're a moving company that specializes in moving things, and you're one of the most expensive brands in the market with guaranteed service. On a positive note, the people who picked and dropped off my belongings were very professional, on time, and handled everything like glass. Don't think I'll work with Perry again.

Their price was fair and everyone worked extremely hard. I would have taken weeks to complete what they did in two days. Best of all they stayed to the quote price they gave a minimum and a maximum and came up in the middle! The only words of caution I would give to you are to expect a staff with only one or two native English speakers . The other guys are working extremely hard to please and take feedback very well, though. you may need to be clear and demonstrate or write out how you would like the box labeled for them. I felt like they did their best to respect our home, not tracking too much dirt. They also ensured that they missed nothing in our previous home packing even the tiniest of things. When they ran out of packing supplies, they called their supervisor who came by with more boxes. We paid additional to have our treadmill moved, and that wentoff flawlessly. They built all furniture that was taken apart, and I can't think of any damage we found. I would recommend treasure moving to anyone I knew. The owner called me and made sure I understood the pricing and was comfortable with the work being done at my home.

That was a big mistake. This time I went right to Doyle. You get what you pay for, my friends. Ryan, the owner, was very responsive and we made an appointment to do a video walk-through of our condo. We did the walk-through, he asked a lot of questions and then he promptly sent an estimate. We have a lot of things so it took five guys and two trucks. The crew leader contacted me the day before to confirm the details and they showed up promptly the day of. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and energetic the entire time. And very polite. They treated all of our things very well and didn't have a problem moving any of the weird odds and ends we couldn't find a way to pack. When we arrived they put everything in the new house where we wanted it and even though we could tell they were suffering from the extreme heat and the weight and amount of our things, they never lagged or complained. They put the beds back together quickly and correctly as well as the dining room table. I'd be in hospital if I had to move all my stuff. At the end, the crew leader went over the paperwork, explained all the final charges line-by-line, and took payment. Very professional. We could not be happier. They were a great crew of guys.
