Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

Some minor complaints are that there is only one elevator per side of the building and the elevator doors close way to fast to get your stuff in. Every time you enter the building or use the elevator, you have to enter a 10 digit code. That means every trip to your vehicle, you have to enter a code. While the security is nice, we spent way too much time squinting at little keypads that are mounted too low for me to see without squatting. Our biggest complaint is the changing prices. It one year, the price was raised twice. We could have locked in a 2 year price, however that involved pre-paying the whole thing up front. Thousands of dollars. Overall, the facility is nice and the staff is great.

This seems to be a new trend in storage unit facility management where a corporate third party oversees pricing for a storage facility by using a computer algorithm. Many different major local storage companies have subscribed to this third-party practice in MC. For a consumer, it is difficult, impractical, unnerving, and seems unfair in trying to manage one's storage/moving costs in one's budget with these price increase unknowns.
