Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

Some minor complaints are that there is only one elevator per side of the building and the elevator doors close way to fast to get your stuff in. Every time you enter the building or use the elevator, you have to enter a 10 digit code. That means every trip to your vehicle, you have to enter a code. While the security is nice, we spent way too much time squinting at little keypads that are mounted too low for me to see without squatting. Our biggest complaint is the changing prices. It one year, the price was raised twice. We could have locked in a 2 year price, however that involved pre-paying the whole thing up front. Thousands of dollars. Overall, the facility is nice and the staff is great.

On my apartment move-in date, I hired a moving company for less than $1k to move my items from my storage unit to my new apartment. I saved quite a bit of money utilizing Self Storage Plus. Yvonne was very helpful throughout the process. She was very clear on the hours that the office and storage unit were open, what not to store in the unit, how to contact the office, and how to properly close out my storage account. On the day I moved out of my storage unit, I called her from the wall phone button near my storage unit, and she said she'd inspect it soon. A couple of hours later I received the receipt confirming that I've successfully moved out and ended my lease.
