I had the best experience possible. I was living in Indianapolis when I arranged with Charles to rent a space for my things which would be arriving via moving company. He worked with me to find two units on the same hallway so I could go through my stuff when I had time in order to put everything into one unit. The facility is super clean. No dust and dirt like there are in other places I've used. While I was in San Francisco I was in and out of the building once or twice a week and never had any problem getting in. I've been doing business with this facility for 18 years. It was All American Self Storage self storage before they were bought by Security Public Storage. It has been a great place until the management changed to Gail and Paul King. I use the unit for business and regularly get UPS and Fed Ex packages delivered. They have a key in the office for UPS to deliver directly to my ground floor unit. My company is now also shipping with Fed Ex that according to management will not deliver to my unit. So, instead of taking the courtesy of placing the items in my unit since they already have the key they constantly call me and threaten to return the packages I have received. I travel for work and many times I am out of town and cannot get to the storage unit until the next week. Gail is very rude and should no longer deal with the public. I have recommended many of my fellow reps to this company but that is no longer going to happen with the treatment i have received from the current management. Like I said I have never had any issues in 18 years and now its an issue getting them to put packages in my unit. I have another unit in another state with Extra Space Self Storage and they put all my packaages in my unit with out any problems. I will be looking for a new storage unit that is more customer friendly. read more

Our experience with Security Public Storage was extraordinarily positive. The Manger, Charles Ruiz, and all the other staff are courteous, knowledgeable, proactively helpful, and definitely looking out for the best interests of their clientele. The entire facility is spotlessly clean and flawlessly maintained. Security is bullet-proof, fool-proof, and dummy-proof. At one point, we thought we were going to have to move more items into our unit than we had stored to begin with. I told Charles that I wanted to rent a second unit. He suggested we let him take a look at what was already inside - and explained to us how, by simply moving ten boxes, we could open up more space than we were already using - saving us what he could see would be an unnecessary expense. He also offered to assist us in rearranging the items and arranging what were to have been the additional pieces so that everything would fit. And thank heavens he advised against the second unit - we wound up not moving anything else into the unit. I can't recommend Security Public Storage highly enough! read more

Look no further, you've found the best Market St area indoor storage! It's been a year since I chose Security Self for my storage needs. Besides the convenient and accessible location,(parking to load/unload has always been available when I needed it.) Security's prices are the best I found in the area. The property is clean, safe, and easy to physically negotiate,and there is a unit perfectly sized to fit your needs. There are boxes, locks, packing materials, etc. available at reasonable prices, and flatbed carts are provided gratis for loading in and out. Charles, who runs things with a warm and friendly touch, found me an even better deal when I downsized and needed a smaller amount of space. He and other staff are more than helpful, making the whole experience a pleasure rather the impersonal chore it usually is in other places. Great entry deals and rates that beat neighboring competitors who offer less are a major plus, and the great service, along with pleasant clientele in a central but unusually nice location makes an ideal home for your personal or business belongings. I recommend taking him up on walking you through how to get in and out of the facility and showing you the hand trucks, lift, etc. Everything is clean, orderly, and very high security. Secure, clean and convenient with friendly management.

I had to move very suddenly last month and decided to put my things in storage. I called Security Public Storage, talked to Nicholas over the phone and he gave me the breakdown on pricing, unit sizes, etc. We eventually decided a bigger unit (I think 4 x 7?) was better (and very glad I picked that one because it JUST fit everything). If it helps, I had about 15 boxes, plus a dresser, a small desk, miscellaneous equipment and some random items like a TV, bike, etc. Moved everything in the next day, parking was a breeze and the carts on site made everything super easy. Exactly one month later, I was ready to move out and once again, Nicholas was super awesome, helpful and friendly. I will recommend this place to all my friends, as I was kinda dreading storage spaces in SF. Thinking about having to go to some cramped place downtown with no parking was giving me a headache; thankfully, this place is super convenient, clean and easily accessible. They save parking in the front so you can easily unload a van, UHaul or car if you need to. And to the employees, thank-you guys so much for helping me when I was in-between housing! It really means a lot to me to have a positive experience during such a stressful time. :) read more
