I rented a 9x14 unit here for 4 months and had a mostly positive experience with the facility itself. The location is convenient, access is easy during open hours, and I always felt safe with the security measures in place. However, there were two notable issues: 1. Lighting: The area where my unit was located had very poor lighting. Despite having a spacious unit, I had to use my phone flashlight every single time I accessed my storage, which was inconvenient and frankly a safety concern. I think installing a single motion-activated lightbulb in the storage room would make a huge difference for customers. 2. Customer Service: This was the most frustrating part of my experience, as I was consistently met with vague answers, impatience, and rudeness. When I specifically asked what happens if I go over my checkout date, instead of explaining the late fee policy, Charles told me "just come back when you're fully done, everyone checks out late anyway" -- no mention of fees. Days later, he suddenly told me there would be a late fee "on the 11th day." I was already a few days over at that point, forcing a last-minute scramble to avoid additional charges. At checkout, when I asked how many days I owed (the bill was hundreds of dollars), he dismissively said "I don't know" with a rude tone. When I requested an email receipt, he refused although the email option was clearly visible on the screen. This was hands-down the most unprofessional customer service I've experienced at any storage facility. Storage and moving out were already very stressful, and customer service should make it easier, not harder. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and emphasizes professionalism, patience, and respect when dealing with customers. read more

I was a tenant here in 2023 as I traveled around the country, and now I'm returning as a tenant in 2025 for the same purpose. Charles was also lovely to work with both times. On move in day, we realized that the unit I had signed for wasn't large enough for my belongings. Charles swapped me to a larger unit on the spot. He also recommended a moving company that SPS partners with so that I could receive a discounted rate on my move. The units are clean and cool temperature wise, and the building is secure. Friendly staff, easy to get in and out, and even with very limited street parking, they were happy to look out for a spot for me. :-) Super clean to boot! They give discounts for writing good reviews online, though I've never redeemed a discount. -- Editing some other notes in! Hours can be tricky depending on when you work. I hadn't started a 9-5 until after I started renting from them, so it wasn't a problem at the time. But when I started my new 9-5 job, following a drive from the office that got me there and parked at 5:45, I would struggle to get my stuff in/out before formal closing time at 6pm. I /was/ told that the real, firm, everyone's-gotta-be-out-by time is 7pm, which does leave some wiggle room, but a little more official time before 9 or after 6 would have been ideal. Oh well! Had to move out because hours weren't working. Revised review because I posted the above one on the spot in exchange for a nice, gel handle pen from the owner.
