Between working two jobs and grad school moving was the last thing I wanted to worry about or deal with. I didn't find my new apartment until the end of the month and was pretty stressed about even booking a company that I could afford. (I had heard lots of horror stories from other friends about hidden fees and companies that scam.) Justin answered me back with a quote insanely fast and was very kind and accommodating. He even booked me over the phone while I was in class all under 3 minutes. I was hesitant to use them at first because the price seemed to good to be true; but after reading other reviews I decided to give them a shot and man am I glad I did! Travis and Andre were incredible, showed up on time and were super quick and efficient. They were really sweet and fun to talk to and helped me put together some furniture I had also purchased after moving me. My move was somewhat difficult because it was within the city limits and having to deal with old buildings but they kept their word on the original price and gave me updates of how much time they thought it was going to take. They sincerely beat my exceptions and were also hella cute, thanks again guys ;) 5 stars isn't a high enough rating! I will for sure use this company again! read more

Having multiple homes I rent out all over, I have had the privilege of coming to know many different moving companies all over the US to help tenants. I have to say these guys have them all beat! They are open every day of the week, which made it very nice for me because I work during the week. The employees rock! I've never met a more professional and kind group of people, from the phone call to inquire about their services, to the amazing work they did! I can tell that Ken really puts his heart into his business in every way because it's ran with heart! My stuff was moved quick and safe, nothing broken, and those guys are some seriously quick hard workers! I highly recommend them to anyone in the area! Amazing job~ read more

At first I was a little frustrated because we booked movers to arrive between 12 and 1, but they told me the night before it might end up being between 1 and 2 because they are so busy with back to school moves. HOWEVER, even though we only booked 2 movers, they showed up with 3 at no extra cost which helped tremendously. Evan, Benny, and Jo(h?)n did a wonderful job. Not only were they personable, but I really thought we would get maybe half of our stuff moved because we had so much, but they managed to move it ALL (from place to place) in just an hour and 40 minutes. We booked them for 2 so we were floored. We are thrilled with their service and beyond satisfied. Would absolutely hire again! Thank you! read more

I was told about this nice company by a friend of a friend. On the day of the move, I received the phone call they were on their way and they arrived within 10 minutes of the estimated time given :) First time I have ever used a moving company and they were very nice, professional folks. They took great care moving all my belongings and answered any questions I had. When they had a question about something they came right to me to double check before doing anything with it. When we got to my new home, they treated my stuff with as much respect as they treated me!! I would highly recommend Seattle Small Moves. Thanks so much folk for making my move as easy and worry free as it could be!!! read more

We needed to have a couch moved from our second floor apartment over to my parent's. Not just any couch, but an 8-foot dual recliner that weighs about as much as a Volkswagen. Devin kept me informed as to their arrival, and even with several city light electric trucks out front replacing a telephone pole, he and Mike got the thing out the narrow door and down the stairs and on to their truck easily. On the other end, they got it into my parent's house quickly and without a problem. Devin and Mike made it look easy and certainly made it quick! The whole process from request to the move was easy and fast. They'll be my go-to movers from here on out. Thanks guys! read more

A quick and hassle free move! I was fantastically pleased about the swiftness and ease it took to get my chaotic studio apartment all packed up and moved out in one day. I didn't have to do anything as the guys went to work boxing and moving my things out. The movers were friendly and courteous towards me and gentle with all my stuff. They were on top of communication calling when they were heading out and arriving and when they arrived at my new place, they kept me up to speed on their arrival. They moved all my stuff into my new place with quickness and ease and when the time came to pay at the end, they continued to be friendly and professional. read more

I just moved last weekend and Evan and his crew (Jim and Fred) did a fantastic job. We were only allocated 2 hours through a phone estimate (I warned the estimator it would be closer to 6 hours). Evan and his crew, after shuffling other moves and cancelling personal plans, stayed until the bitter end (4 trips) which turned out to be 8 hours. They did it with a smile on their face and complete professionalism. They moved a heavy massage chair, really heavy latex mattress and 6 very large and full outdoor flower pots. Everything arrived in perfect condition and was placed where we wanted it. I would highly recommend them. read more

I had a great experience with these guys, moving a big 2-BR apartment move down and up two flights of stairs each. We had a couple of minor logistical bumps at the beginning, not the fault of the movers themselves, and they adjusted on the fly with great communication with me and then got the job done efficiently and quickly. Evan, Ryan and Fred knew what they were doing and worked hard and fast getting me moved in good shape. Strong guys. Placed things very well and carefully. Evan managed the show, responding to things as they came up and communicating with me quickly, and orchestrated things very well. Thanks, guys! read more

Easy schmeasy. I was trying to keep it as cheap as I could, but I didn't want to go with the lowest bidder since that can bring expensive surprises. I chose these guys for their mid-range bid, good reviews, and the fact that they were not going to be affected by the viaduct closure that happened as I was moving my mom. I made it so they only had to move the big furniture that I couldn't move in my own car, and they had no complaints and moved quickly and efficiently. They got it done in amazing time! They were really kind, too, to me and my mom. Just a fabulous experience. read more

Seattle Small Movers was great! My movers showed up 15 minutes early (practically unheard of for movers), knew all about my moving situation and were very efficient. They brought all the required materials and handled my stuff carefully. They even brought me the closing paperwork for my storage unit after I had already left! The price was totally reasonable and the quote was accurate for the time required. If you want to work with efficient, professional, courteous and great movers, Seattle Small Moves is the way to go! read more

I am so pleased with my service that I continue to recommend them to all my friends and coworkers. I appreciated the warning that they were on the way. The guys were not fast but they were efficient and set all my things where I wanted them. And they moved my monster couch out of a tight space without damaging the walls like when it was moved in. I moved in the spring and they took care to protect my furniture as much as possible when the rain started. I will be using them again for my next move. read more

I booked Seattle Small Moves for a 2-hour period to take care of the furniture my girlfriend and I couldn't handle in our recent townhouse to apartment move. Everything about the experience was quick - they were quick to respond with a quote and were able to help me less then 24 hours after I received the quote. The two movers arrived promptly, were fast - but careful - to load up my furniture, and were quick to unload as well. The next time I move, Seattle Small Moves will be my first call. read more

I have used Seattle Small Moves twice. First when I moved from Denver to Seattle. All of my stuff moved on schedule, they were friendly and none of my belongings were damaged (amazing!). I decided to try them again for a second time when they moved my stuff out of our apartment quickly after our landlord decided to sell the unit. We were super desperate for help, but the SSM team made the move smooth, calm, and shockingly easy. I will use them again, that is for sure. read more

Seattle Small Moves was recommended to me by a co-worker, and reaching out to them was the best choice I've made in a long time! Ryan, TJ and Evan were on time, got straight to work, and made what could have been a hellacious move quite easy. Their banter while moving some of the bulkier pieces was the highlight of the day, too! Long story short, when the time comes that we need to move again, I will be calling SSM again, and requesting these gentlemen specifically! read more

I'm glad I called these guys. I first tried to move myself, and figured I should call some pros. I had a 3 bedroom house that I was downsizing, and they did a great job moving my furniture. They wrapped everything with blankets and shrink wrap, and the way they packed the truck was like a game of Tetris. Price was competitive with the rates of other companies I called, and I feel I made the right choice. Ask for John on your move, he was the best! read more

I received excellent service from Seattle Small Moves. It was perfect for a small job that was too heavy for me. They were quick to respond and set up a date and the price was reasonable. The movers were polite and efficient knew what they were doing. They had made a mistake on the date and showed up a couple days earlier but quickly realized it was their error and didn't hear anything else about it. I recommend them. read more

These guys showed up early(!!!) and I could not have asked for a friendlier bunch of guys. They went through my house, addressed my concerns about a fragile art piece before starting, and quickly wrapped everything up (literally and figuratively) Unloading was just as fast, and at the end payment was quick and professional. If I ever move back to Seattle, I will use these guys. The best! read more

We spoke with Tanner for a move within few miles and he agreed and had availability within 2 days. We also got lucky because of 4th July. The crew arrived timely and they completed our move including assembly of bed within 2 hr time frame as quoted. There was no damage and it was a very pleasant experience. Thanks Tanner and Team! read more
