My friend asked me who could help him move his stuff to Washington. I was looking around and asked him to try out Simple Move! So we checked out out got quotes, and what they gave was pretty decently cheap. They provided great customer service and very good rates of course. Simple Move arrived at my friends place and I could tell these people have really good customer service! They were smiling, carrying our things because I gave my friends my belongings to take up. Some of the stuff included a vase, many video games and clothes. He took it up and made sure it is placed in the truck well. This took only a couple of hours which was very efficient! After arriving to Washington with my friends, Simple Move got there on time. I was very happy! I just wanted to get everything done and help my friend settle in! I'm honestly one of those people that is over critical with my belongings and they cannot be bad or I will freak out! Luckily they took care of everything for us and that my belongings came in one piece and not pieces. So helpful and awesome! I was so busy leading up to the move, I never ended up confirming my schedule. The day comes, I call to check in and realize my mistake, and they were able to get two people and a truck over in just a couple of hours! Basically saved my day. Then we get to the new place, that we were basically seeing in person for the first time due to covid, and realize the initial parking spot and elevator are waaay inconvenient. We eventually find a better spot to park the truck and they use a different elevator in the building to finish the move just at 6hrs. These folks were professional the whole time, even when it felt hopeless lol. They wore masks, and wrapped furniture in blankets, and boxed up the little stuff like the pros they are. While in Seattle, I needed some stuff moved to Spokane for the annual hoop fest tournament. There was a lot of stuff that needed to be sent from Seattle to Spokane. So I called simple move. We were able to set up a time and they showed up real early the next morning. We were able to get to Spokane and we had no problems on the way. The movers who arrived worked very hard and quickly which I appreciated. Language barrier was an issue at times in that I said one thing and they did the opposite. Communication among the 3 man crew is was not happening, in that I would explain things to the crew leader, but he didn't communicate it to the rest of the crew which caused problems. Several other problems arose: they broke a book case (but the guys fixed it on site), scratched the top of a dresser, tipped the end tables and desk on their ends so all contents in small drawers shifted.... still cannot open those drawers due to items within shifting (when I made the appointment no one said to empty small, lightweight drawers); they put master bed together incorrectly - now 3 days later I had to call them to request a return to re-install. Customer service is difficult to work with and appear to be a third-party unconnected to Simple Move. They insisted that I file a 'claim' in order for them to evaluate whether or not to come back out to fix the bed install. I'm worried that making a claim means they can 'deny the claim' - waiting to hear if they will come back out. I would use this company with caution. One more thing that I thought was odd - at the end of the move, the crew leader was calling in the finished job and he had to look at the letterhead of the paperwork to remember he worked for "Simple Move", this makes me wonder if they are sub-contracting out the actual movers.... hmmm, this company doesn't seem to be a solid, well run operation. UPDATE: 8 days after filing the claim to fix the bed installed - I finally heard back from Simple Move and they agreed to come and fix. Forman came out same day and fixed the bed. Moving is very stressful and can be overwhelming at times. Luckily I called the people at Simple Move. They made the whole experience very calming and gave me peace of mind knowing that I was in the hands of professionals. I reached out to their front desk multiple times with questions (quote, hour estimates, do you pack the TV, can I get extra boxes, etc) and I have to say that the level of customer service and care that they provided was top notch. They were able to answer all my question in a timely manner and quite responsive and detailed in their responses. On the day of the move, they came and loaded our boxes, boxed any items that we didn't have time to pack, disassembled the furniture and packed it in a way to avoid damages. The fact that they really took their time to make sure that the furniture was packed well showed that they truly care about their clients. When we got to our new house, they moved everything in and laid out the furniture in the new house, rearranged the furniture a few times to accommodate our liking and much more. Simple move was a mixed bag for us. They showed up on time. They worked quickly, and were competitively priced. The down side was a lack of attention to detail for furniture and house. A few pieces of furniture came away with large impact scars, the floors at the target address got some pretty sizable gouges and somehow they managed to destroy a combo light switch. The did not cover the floors where they worked at either the source and destination except for one stretch of wooden stairs. I doubt I would use them again. If I do, it will be with lots of addition direction about care. read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. First of all, I'll say I don't ever write reviews. It's time consuming and I really don't get much out of it except in this case I'm hoping I can save a few consumers from making the mistake I made by hiring this company. Like most people, I look up companies and read reviews and hire based on positive responses. I'm completely shocked that this company has so many great reviews. So many issues...I'll list below, but first, I'll set the scene. This was an unexpected, emergency situation to hire a moving company. We were planning on moving ourselves with a U-Haul but then my wife ended up in the hospital. With two kids ages 3 and 1, there was no way I could pack and move myself, so we hired these guys. I walked through the place with the guys--who arrived late--and said "Everything goes. All of it." They nodded and agreed. I was never planning on coming back to the apartment as we were moving across state, and the gentlemen said they'll get everything and meet me up there and I could take the kids and cats to the new place while they packed. Seemed awesome. I packed the essentials and hit the road. Issues: 1. Didn't have the right address of current place OR the place we were moving to. 2. Didn't have my correct cell number. 3. FORGOT TO PACK AN ENTIRE CLOSET as well as left random selective things such as dish towels, under the sink items like cleaning supplies, vacuum, brooms, empty moving boxes, silverware holders...I could go on. 4. Opened the windows and left the windows open when they left. 5. Unloaded items in weird places. If a box is labeled kitchen, why is it in the master bathroom? This happened frequently. 6. Marked up the walls carrying things up. The list goes on, but I might run out of space. I contacted the company asking for a partial refund as I had to drive across state to retrieve what should have been packed. They declined and flat out lied to me saying I told them NOT to pack everything. Unprofessional, dishonest, and not interested in being good humans. Moving is stressful enough as it is but these guys took it to the extra mile by making the process very seamless and easy on us. They showed up right on time and helped move all the things super fast. They were very gentle with our furnitures and wrapped all of our furnitures with multiple protective layer. My studio apartment took them about 5.75 hours in total!!! I was told it would take a maximum of 5 hours. I am really disappointed with the move and wouldn't recommend the people who came to my move atleast. I am not sure if other people on the company are better and hence the rating is so good. I was shocked with the way they have handled the assembly of my bed. I had to repeatedly ask the person to take care of the wall as the bed kept hitting it leaving marks on the wall. I was told that I will be provided water during the move and haven't gotten any, also I was told that bubble wrap will be provided and nothing was provided, they used material from my previous move like the paper and everything. read more

I would avoid this company at all costs. They sub-contract to generic moves which is fine I guess, however if anything happens you should be ready to cut your losses. The sub-contracted movers damaged a lamp and put a piece of furniture through my drywall during our recent move. After weeks of phone calls and emails with no real progress I will be paying to repair the drywall myself. Simple Move is not a full service company and will give you the run around until you are worn down. Just look up the physical address they list on Google. Or look at the website. None of the links even work! Even stranger that they are using a web address connected to a real business in California. My guess is this is not a real moving company. I visited my sister in Washington to help her move into her new place, and we called this company up because they offer cheap service. This company contains the nicest and sincerest people ever! They were so accommodating and respectful with our items, assuring us that our personal items will be packed carefully to ensure a safe arrival to the next destination! My sister was worried about the movers accidentally putting dents on her dressers and scratches on her couches, but the way they wrapped and packed the furniture it was so professionally done and looked as though it was sturdy and of course by the time the furniture reached its new home there wasn't a single imperfection on it! They may be 5 star movers but I will never know. They do not provide an actual quote even after I gave them the exact number of boxes I was moving and the exact pieces of furniture. David and jimmy came by and were super helpful. One full one bed took about 4.25 hours and they took care that things don't get damaged. There was slight miscommunication about wrapping and packing things but these guys made the best effort to get it done right and in time. I visited Washington with my friend and her sister because she was moving to a new place and we went online to find a place that could help us with the big move. We called this place and the worker we spoke to was super friendly and didn't get frustrated when we asked him numerous of questions. We decided to go ahead and let them help us with the move since price was very reasonable, considering the tedious and heavy-lifting work that comes with moving. They really exceeded our expectations because we were a bit concerned they might've accidentally damaged our personal Items, but they didn't lay a single scratch on anything because they were being very cautious.
