Inmove moved and stored the contents of my previous house back in Jan '22. In May and again in June I visited the warehouse to retrieve some of my stuff and found many of my boxes crushed because they were stacked far too high. Inmove restacked the boxes, but the damage had already been done. In September when inmove moved my stuff into my new house, they dragged a desk and couch, creating deep long scratches in my wood floors. After I unpacked my boxes I found many broken items caused from the over stacking in their warehouse, including a computer monitor, glasses and dishes, and some family heirlooms. All items were packed by me with great care, and tons of packing material to avoid this type of breakage. Employees of Inmove reassured me on many occasions that they would pay for any broken items and any damage caused to my house during the move in. Since then I emailed and called inmove multiple times to arrange for compensation for my damaged items and scratched floors, but I have not received any communication from Inmove for weeks. read more

Earlier today we were treated to some of the best movers I have ever used! We needed all our items moved from an apartment in Kirkland to a storage facility nearby. We met James, Riley, and Dale at 8:15am; they reviewed all the boxes, bins and furniture and made their plan of action on moving everything down and out. I've moved plenty of times and this might be the best in terms of the blend of speed, courtesy, quality, and cost. They were blazingly fast. A 3br townhome (with two toddlers, so tons of crap) and a 3 hr drive south and they were finished in just under 7 hours total. That's load, drive 3 hours, unload all in less than 7 hours. Total scammers, stay away. Reserved these guys and they even came out to do a walkthrough, so they knew what we had. On the day before the move get the phone call about how its underestimated and they need to add more guys, and to be aware there's a $25 charge per flight of stairs (no one else does this, btw)! Then the morning of the move they are late but also lying about how they can't start their truck. If a mover can't start his truck there's a lot more going wrong if you know what I mean! So we canceled them as they were too much drama. What a great experience! Moving is always stressful, but the team at InMove, Joey, Sydney, and Chris, took all my worries away. They worked fast and efficiently, and were constantly on hand to tell me, "No worries, we've got that." They anticipated what items needed extra shrink wrap, and what boxes needed more tape. For our move, InMove sent movers Sidney and Joey to help us and they did a great job! They came prepared with packing tape to secure our boxes, protective coverings for our furniture and mattresses, and chassis to transport bulky items. The loading/unloading was super fast - it only took about an hour or two total - and they were careful not to damage our stuff. All of our glassware and cooking oil survived the journey. :) Sidney and Joey were also very friendly and polite. We felt comfortable around them and appreciated how they helped us arrange our furniture (and they even gave us tips about where to get good deals for a new couch). The only downside to using InMove is that we were also billed for the commute time to and from our home. I understand that commute takes up time and should be compensated, but I'm not sure if it's fair to bill the commute time at the same rates as the actual time spent helping us move. read more

We had a pretty smooth move. We requested 2 movers but 3 of them arrived. It was more convenient, but it'd be better if we were informed and confirmed earlier. Overall, having 3 movers was way more convenient and took lesser time than 2 movers would have taken. So, we are really happy. Nothing broke. No wastage of time. Movers arrived exactly on time. Moved a 2 bhk apartment in 4 hours from Bellevue downtown to Redmond downtown. Note that we had packed almost everything beforehand. No masks, no gloves, and overcharged me by $150+ due to a clerical error and/or the mover not knowing how to do basic math. SUPER disappointed after seeing such glowing reviews before I scheduled these guys. I contacted their management and I was issued a refund for the overcharge, but the service was unacceptable. EDIT: As stated previously, they did refund the overcharge, yes. However, now the Office Manager is emailing, Yelp-messaging, AND TEXTING me at 6AM about my review. This is completely inappropriate and does not do anything but make my feelings about this situation worse. I leave honest reviews and have the evidence to back my claims; I will continue to warn other potential customers about things like this before they sign up for more than they bargained for. Overall it looks like this company has done a great job with their customer service prior to my experience and I imagine they'll do better in the future, but I am sharing MY experience and making it worse is not going to change my mind.
