STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Keep Moving is a total joke. They lure you in with a "low price" and then invent ways to rob you blind at the end. Here's the trap: They charge "warehouse to warehouse," which I (stupidly) agreed to, but they are total liars about the timing. They called me at 8:00 AM to say they were starting in 10 minutes and heading my way--meaning they hadn't even left yet--but then had the audacity to bill me starting from 8:00 AM. Then, at the end, they just pulled up Google Maps and tacked on an extra 10 minutes for the "estimated" drive back. All told, I was charged for an entire hour of absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, one of the movers spent the whole time on his damn phone doing nothing while I had already moved my own bed and half my stuff via U-Haul! When I asked for shoe protectors to keep my brand-new house from being ruined, they caught an attitude and blamed ME, claiming some manager named Danielle told me to buy them. She never said a word. I don't understand how this company can have such high Yelp reviews. We chose this company for our move from Seattle to Florida. We wanted to support a local business in Washington, so chose them even though it was one of the higher quotes we received. We just received our items today over a month after our items were picked up. More than half of the large furniture pieces were damaged/completely broken, and those were items the movers personally packed. Our items were picked up on May 28 and I was available for delivery in Florida May 30. We chose this company because we were told 1-3 weeks and guaranteed delivery in 3 weeks. Our items were just delivered July 1 which was very inconvenient as we had friends and family visiting us. The 21 business day guarantee would have been last week so it should not have conflicted with our houseguests or the July 4th holiday. We had no explanation for why the items were delayed. We put Air Tags in some of the boxes and saw that our things had not left Woodinville more than 3 weeks after pickup. We followed up multiple times over the past month asking for a delivery estimate and were either not answered or told they were "looking into it." We had multiple broken furniture pieces delivered including: 75 in TV, bookshelf, dresser, bar table, dining room table. I have attached photos. We were also promised that Keep Moving was full service, and would be handing our items the entire journey. The movers that came today were from Roadway Movers which is a completely different company. I felt that we were lied to on multiple accounts for reasons that had led us to chose this company over cheaper quotes we received. This has been, without a doubt, the worst moving experience I've ever had. First, I was baffled to learn that the preparation for delivery didn't start until the date listed as "first date available" on my form. Why would you wait until then to even begin? Then, the lack of communication was staggering. I wasn't notified when my belongings started moving; I only found out because one of my AirTags was packed, allowing me to track it. I watched as it crossed state lines, still with no update or notification on the delivery status. Reaching out to my supposed point of contact was useless. She kept making excuses about "getting in touch with the ground team." Initially, she promised an update by the end of the day. When that didn't happen, I called again the next day, especially since my AirTag showed my stuff was just 20 minutes away. Her response? She wasn't "sure how close the team was." How can you not know that? Aren't there dispatchers, driver contact info, or satellite tracking on DOT trucks? After voicing my frustration via email, I finally received a vague delivery window. But even as the last day of that window approached, there was still no contact from the driver until I sent another email. The driver, when he finally got in touch, was clueless about the loading dock situation and didn't know a shuttle was needed--something clearly noted on the pickup documents and supposedly being coordinated by my PoC earlier in the week. To top it all off, the "move team" that arrived was just an elderly couple who brought in all the boxes and put together my bed. They didn't unpack any boxes or take any away, leaving me to deal with the rest of the unpacking myself--something that was clearly listed as a bare minimum in the contract. First time user and was initially excited about the price. Was quoted at $150/ hr. You choose how many movers you want, so I booked 2 as I have needed only two in the past. I also had to put into consideration that my move was 2.5 hrs away. Now as nice as the two movers (Miguel & Tariel) were, they were dragging their feet! Well Miguel was pretty quick, but I observed Tariel carrying one light item at a time MANY TIMES. They only needed to disassemble and transport my items to a storage unit. I also got rid of a bedroom set and my living room couch since I was going to get new ones, so I thought this would also lessen their time. NOPE! I've used Task Rabbit for my last two moves where I had 2 movers, one 15 ft truck and they had to DISASSEMBLE AND REASSEMBLE my furniture which took them 3 hours IN TOTAL, not including the driving time. When I say the Keep Moving mover were dragging their feet... it took them 5 hours alone to load their truck with my belongings!!! They arrived at 815AM and did not leave until 120PM. They had less items to move, but took WAY longer. Make that make sense! I physically observed their truck get on the freeway by 140pm whereas I still had to run some errands which took an additional 40minutes. They agreed to contact me by phone when they arrived to my storage since I planned to have someone there waiting to let them in if they arrived before I did. When I arrived the truck was just sitting there and they DID NOT call me, so my personal contact was not informed to open the gates for them. They obviously could have began unloading, but didn't. I arrived close to 5pm as I hit traffic also. They unloaded their truck in my storage which took them an hour and they quoted an additional 3hr drive back to their office by 9PM. (Only reason I didn't book Task Rabbit was because of my long distance move and wanting to book someone at least a month in advance. Task Rabbit only allows 2weeks in advance to find available Taskers) Would not use Keep Moving again if I had to. Don't suggest you do either if you want a better price, use task rabbit. read more

I have moved so many times in just the past 3 years that when I had to move AGAIN today, I wanted to leave Earth. Moving is so stressful, even with movers.... UNTIL NOW, AND ONLY IF YOU USE THE MOVING COMPANY "KEEP MOVING." This company, and LAST-MINUTE, appeared in my life like a perfectly-wrapped miracle of a present sent to me straight from the gods and goddesses of moving; my experience with my three movers from Keep Moving was PERFECT. They made today's move so easy for me. It was so quick and easy (for me).. They were able to come out the very next day after I made an appt for movers and labor to both move half my furniture/belongings into my new condo from my old one, AND THEN, to put the other half into CLIMATE-CONTROLLED storage and all at a VERY LOW COST. I just put different colored post-its on the stuff they were moving to my new place and the stuff going into storage, and they handled it all perfectly. Once I saw these guys get to work, I was FULLY CONFIDENT that I could legit just LEAVE my old condo and relax. (Said no one ever who has hired movers or moved in general--until today, by me, with full honesty to you.) My THREE movers, who ONLY cost me $200/hour were AMAZING, PERFECT, INTUITIVE, KIND, and EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, THOROUGH, and QUICK! And altogether MIND-BLOWING with what they did for me, and in so little time, and so INEXPENSIVELY! These guys did in just 4 HOURS things ABOVE AND BEYOND--WITH THE UTMOST PERFECTIONISM, PRECISION, and EXTREME CARE--that took my last, horrible moving company 2 DAYS. Yes. "Keep Moving" did in just 4 HOURS MORE than what my last moving company did in 2 DAYS, and at 1/5 the cost I've ever paid for movers; this insanely inexpensive total cost (and for what they DID!) INCLUDES the storage fees as well. I can't even believe this. I am so happy and filled with gratitude for these guys and this moving company. Quick Rundown: 1. In no time at all--but to emphasize, WITH GREAT CARE--they wrapped up with tape ALL my furniture in expensive plastic wrap/padded blankets/etc. (AND THESE SUPPLIES/PROTECTION WERE INCLUDED, FOR FREE, IN THEIR HOURLY RATE); 2. Boxed up all my scattered belongings in my old, messy condo--AND CORRECTLY for each of the two locations to which they delivered my stuff--even putting separation layers of packing supplies between different kinds of items in the boxes (and the only packing supplies for which I paid outside their hourly rate is the cardboard boxes and that's IT--and the STURDY BOXES COST NEXT TO NOTHING... ); 3. Disassembled (and wrapped up tight with protection) my bed for me; 4. Labeled with my full name professionally-printed labels on every last box or piece of wrapped furniture into a computer system they brought while working to ensure everything was going where it should, including the storage unit for the storage stuff to account for ALL my possessions; 5. They were so amazing that I offered them to take two 30-minute breaks ON MY DIME and they unanimously DECLINED both times and continued to haul with their INCREDIBLE WORK ETHIC and COMMUNICATION with each other and me, always ensuring everything was still perfect; 6. When they finished packing and loading my stuff into their truck, all while following with great attitudes all annoying HOA moving rules perfectly, they then unloaded my stuff into my new 4-story condo, going up and down 3 flights of these stairs in it to put what I wanted where I wanted it without even breaking a sweat in minutes at my new place?! 7. Opened with box cutters for me all my boxes at my new place and took off all the shrink wrap for me; 8. Then they had me look at everything to confirm everything I needed was there and correct, and it was!!! 9. I also had them put my huge TV into storage and while at my old place, they wrote on the perfectly-sized and sealed and protected box "TV SCREEN FRAGILE" in HUGE LETTERS COVERING IT (etc.); 10. When they were done unloading at my new place and had me look inside their truck to confirm everything else there going to storage was there and correct, and it was; 11. Gave me a detailed line by line list of my full inventory of everything that they handled, as well as which location each item or box was at (which was signed by them, too..); 12. THEY LITERALLY ROLLED OUT A VERY LONG RED CARPET/MAT all throughout the main walkway/living area on my new main floor so as to not scuff or stain my floors at all since it was raining and muddy outside; 13. They were SO POLITE AND FRIENDLY; 14. Total cost for what ended up being in total (by the time they moved my stuff into their storage facility) just 6 hours--with EVERYTHING THEY DID FOR ME--and including storage costs--it was $1,700. I'm not kidding. All other moving companies who have done for me all they did charged roughly 4 grand. Let me start by saying that I have never been one to write reviews on sites like this. I'll give a start rating but very seldom will I take the time to draft up a lengthy review. That being said, I hired Keep Moving to help with a quick move turnaround we had recently. We lived in a 3rd floor condo and upon moving into this place, I (along with some friendly help) moved my family into this place. The stairs are killer and after living in the place for a year, I couldn't fathom moving everything out down those stairs again. I was able to book Keep Moving like 4 days before our move date - they had the exact time frame we needed available, brought a crew of three guys and a 26ft truck. Let me add that they were prompt and right on time the morning of our move. I've moved many times since I've lived in Washington and have always been relatively skeptical of utilizing movers for the sake of cost and also just because I always thought that if I was able to do it, then why spend money to have someone else do it. But let me say, these guys were so impressive and good at their job. They were super friendly and I cant even recall them taking any "breathers" during the entire 6 hour move - it was pretty cool to see. The cost for all this was well within our budget too and they were very helpful with timeframes on when we should start heading to our new place to unload stuff to keep it within budget. From start to finish I was thoroughly impressed and am immensely appreciative of all their hard work. My family and I cannot thank you guys enough. SUMMARY: I've used Keep Moving twice. Both times: - I packed most but not all items in advance. - I got a crew of 3. - John / Danielle were very helpful in arranging everything in advance. The first time was a great experience. The second time, lots of damage to my items due to needing to rush for the last couple hours due to efficiency / execution velocity issues that weren't a problem for the first move. Will not be using them again due to all the damage in the second move, unless I know for certain I'm getting the same crew I had in the first move or there is some other meaningful mitigation in place against a repeat of the second move. THE FIRST MOVE: Summary: They did a great job! Efficient, communicative, and demonstrated an appropriate level of care to not damage my items. Damage: The only damage was to my lateral filing cabinet. They put the cabinet on a dolly, tilted it 90 degrees, and it messed up the rail system, bent folders, etc. I had to spend quite a bit of time and effort, but was able to repair most of the damage. THE SECOND MOVE: Summary: We were off to a great start! They showed up early as I requested, and they started using blankets to protect some of the furniture items. Unfortunately, the execution on the move didn't finish as well as it started. I ended up experiencing more damage on this move than I've encountered in any previous move except when I used PODS Moving & Storage, where it looked like the POD had been tossed around in a tornado between when they took it and dropped it off. Efficiency: We started running out of time. I only had the elevators for 4 hours. We ultimately got an extra hour (so 5 hrs with the elevators), but it took longer for them to move my stuff than in the first move, and we lost the elevator reservation toward the end. We were very lucky to have completed the move at all due to running slow. I don't know why things were slower for the second move. We were moving from the same complex to the same complex - so no truck. I didn't expect the move to be faster since we did have to go to another elevator close by since I was moving between towers. I attribute much if not most of the damage to my items to us running short on time at the end, but again, cannot explain why the efficiency was worse for the second move compared to the first. Communication: I could only communicate with one of the movers. This wasn't an issue at first when the crew was together, but since the crew wasn't always together, communication quickly became challenging. Damage: LOTS of damage: 1) Lateral filing cabinet: They put the cabinet on a dolly, tilted it 90 degrees, and it messed up the rail system, bent folders, etc. Unlike the previous time where this happened, the damage this time was more extensive and I've not been able to repair it fully. In my next move, I plan to throw out my filing cabinet and buy a new one. 2) My large office desk was scraped up all over one side 3) My rolling laptop desk was chewed up around the sides and I'm replacing it 4) A pair of high-end headphones had the cable chewed up to the metal core, so had to throw it out 5) My high-end computers and servers weren't packed with any packing paper or anything - just thrown into a box. In fact, I showed them the 500 sheets of packing paper I had left for them to use, and at the end it didn't look like they had touched it. Got VERY lucky here - doesn't appear anything got damaged despite the lack of care. 6) Lots of scruffs and scrapes all over the new apartment. I've had someone come by and take care of it. 7) New dents, dings, and scratches to my kitchen table, which they didn't completely wrap in a blanket while moving. 8) Plenty more issues, but the above are the bigger items I've attached photos of some (but not all) of the examples of damage above. read more

I am so late in writing this. I moved about 6 weeks ago and, well moving is exhausting. I had used Keep Moving a year ago and had excellent service. I moved down 1 flight of stairs and moved into a town home with 2 flights of stairs going up. I knew the move would be challenging because I had been climbing those stairs in the days leading up to moving day. Jose, Yasmine, and Tariel (hopefully the spelling is correct) did an amazing job. They had the strength and the tenaciousness to stay with it and keep going up and down those stairs. I was impressed. Tomorrow will mark 30 days since pickup. My items were picked up on August 2nd. After the truck was loaded I was asked when would be the earliest date I could "receive the items" I said August 8th since I would be driving down to Texas. I was under the impression this was a date for their records since they boast on their paperwork that they "won't drop off items until you're ready". Turns out it's actually the date they "ship out" the items. LOL at them trying to get as much time as possible to drag their feet even with their "3-21 business day" guarantee. I'm not a business person but if it takes your company more than a month to go 2k miles domestically with a one-bedroom move, maybe you shouldn't off out-of-state moves. After being in Texas (my destination) for nearly a week (August 14th/15th) and hearing nothing, I called. Multiple times. And I received nothing but the runaround and platitudes: "I will call you back." "I will contact the dispatcher and get back to you." I was never called back. (To be fair, this was before I knew that my items weren't going to be shipped until the 8th, so I was still under the impression that having my items for nearly 2 weeks was enough time to ship them and get to my destination) Finally, when I called on August 16th and demanded a date range at the very least. The woman on the phone, Danielle, was rude and patronizing. She told me "yes, it's normal for people to wait a month". If that sounds like bull to you, then we're in the same boat. That was also when I was told "there was a delay, and my items would be in transit this week" two weeks out from the day they picked up my items. But let's forget that and go by their bull policy, it took A WEEK to ship out my items. Again, I was the one who called, something tells me they would have never said anything. It is horrible business practice and they take advantage of their "3-21 business days" policy. Of course, you don't think it'll take 21 business days. Why would it? If you're only moving a one-bedroom apartment, 2k miles. They bank on you not calling them and if you do they won't tell you anything. Because they don't care and they don't have to care. They CTAs with a 3-21 business day policy so if it takes a month it takes a month. Who cares if you have nothing to eat on, sleep on, or wear to work? You took the risk. When my family and friends called to check in on me, I felt like an idiot every time I had to tell them over and over again: "No, I don't have my things." "No, I haven't heard from them." "No, I don't know when they're coming." "No, I don't know where the truck is." "No, I don't actually have proof that they shipped my stuff." Called again on August 28th and was told I would have an update tomorrow (the 29th). Received the text in the attachment. An update is not an update if you're just telling me you'll have an update. Once again was promised a call back and an email and have received neither. Please don't be like me. I spent $5,000 to go without my things for a month. I would have been better off leaving everything behind and buying new things. I would recommend this company only to my worst enemy and it will be a cold day in hell before I use any moving company let alone this one. Problem is they were slow and cost me a lo it took 6 hours to load uhaul and I had 95% of everything boxed and ready to go. i hour was for the travel back and forth. very nice loaders but English was limited and some things were packed in the truck and i did not want in there and somethings were left out. Do the cost i just quit the situation and i have things i would have liked in the truck I had plenty of room. So i am stuck with items i cannot put in my car.. i did not expect topay for 6 hours for loading an 15 foot truck which still had plenty of room. I'm going to echo one of the reviewers below. Keep Moving was very responsive in getting our move scheduled. They were flexible and easy to work with. Payment was straightforward and the movers were friendly. Now the major issues. We had an old massage chair that needed to be moved downstairs to the garage. Keep Moving claimed it was done as a courtesy and we were not charged. During the move, the chair was dragged step by step down white carpet, leaving it irreparably damaged, see photo. The company claimed it was our poor maintenance there was an oil leak (really?!). A TV stand dented a wall and damage to the piece itself. While a claim form was provided, the compensation offered is laughable. We were initially offered $150 and after a few back and forth emails (supposed escalation to management), the final offer was $250. Given the cost of labor today, I doubt it would even cover the cost to fix the dent in the wall, nevermind the carpet. We did not ask for cost to repair the carpet, just something reasonable. Nothing remotely was offered and here we are. The calculated damages were based off the weight of the item. Seriously? How does this work? My takeaway- use this company if you are not concerned about damages and don't expect any compensation for any damages. They are certainly fast and available. But if you value the contents of what's being moved, you're probably better off elsewhere. We really gave Keep Moving every opportunity to remedy the situation in a constructive manner. read more

We recently used them for our move. We chose them because they were competitively priced with mostly favorable reviews, but we weren't quite sure what to expect. Our crew were Dima, Nikoley and Tariel. They were very punctual, and kept us well informed of their arrival. They were very considerate and extremely careful while packing and moving our stuff. Our apartment freight elevator was not available for the first hour and a half, but that didn't stop them from constantly moving the items using the regular elevators. I don't think we ever saw them take a break (even though that would have been well deserved on the hot day) during the entire packing and unpacking. Very impressed with the service. When I messaged Keep Moving, Val responded in less than 30 minutes and shared pertinent information I needed to get a quote. They were incredibly efficient and professional and handled moving my items carefully. They disassembled my items and wrapped them in protective blankets, shrink wrap, and more. I had to store my items for a few weeks, which was included in the cost of the move, and shortly after, my items arrived at my final destination! Once again, they gave me a heads-up call before their arrival. All my items arrived in perfect condition. They re-assembled them, removing the protective layers and taking the extra trash/recycle with them (which was so helpful as I could consolidate any trash/recycle I had). I moved yesterday and what I thought would be a 4 hour maximum move took over 8 hours and was charged $1135, I was moving a one bedroom from Renton to Seattle, a 20 minute drive, 99% of my stuff were already packed, just loose pieces like artwork, which doesnt take a longtime to move. I had a bed that needed to dissassemble which previous movers took no more than half n hr and a tv to unmount. I thought they were slow and not efficient, almost like they were dragging out the time, and i saw a couple times where they werw carrying light pieces, a small box, they were probably tired, but at the same time im paying for a service, the worst part about it, I WAS HELPING THEM MOVE BOXES and things BOTH WAYS because i got frustrated at how much time it was taking. i have been moved by moving companies before, one bedroom and the maximum time it has taken is 3.5 hrs. the movers were nice, but this was the worst, most tiring moving experience of my life while using movers and honestly i feel scammed. the cheaper price gets you, but dont be fooled go with someone else. read more

The whole process for scheduling our local move was very smooth. They arrived at the early end of their arrival window and started promptly. They put up with a number of adverse, unexpected challenges that dramatically lengthened the job without complaint and were steadfast throughout what amounted to a nearly 9-hour process (to emphasize: through 0 fault of their own - they moved as quickly as we could possibly expect/ask). Can't recommend them enough. While we don't hope to move again any time soon, they are absolutely who we'll use if/when we do, and will recommend to anyone we know in need of moving services in this area. read more

We recently use Keep Moving to move our household goods from Seattle to California. This was our tenth or so move in the last many years just for context here. Upon reaching California when we started opening up the boxes it was a complete nightmare! None of the boxes had the right labels so we had to cut open each box during unloading to understand where each box would go. Next, each box had a mix of things - our glass photo frames were stacked up at the bottom of a box without padding and on top of them were stacked boxes of floor tiles!! We opened wardrobe boxes but no clothes - only misc garage items dumped away. Where did we find our clothes ? Crushed away in Small boxes!! And they charged us for the wardrobe boxes! None of the glass items had Fragile labels. I opened the TV box and there was no remote or cables or stand screws. It's all a mystery! And we've just opened less than half the boxes yet. I can comfortably tell that we have never ever seen such pathetic packing. Definitely NOT recommended if you want a peaceful move! Update 7/29: we are still halfway through unpacking and will certainly submit claim once completed. But claims do not compensate for the poor handling of items. We recently opened up our clothes boxes and found our formal suits and everything to be dumped and crushed the same way as everything else in the same box with bottles of perfumes etc. I'm adding a picture as well. Exceptional Moving Service We recently had the pleasure of working with the outstanding moving team of Faisal, Irving, and Dider from Keep Moving, who complete our two bedroom move in 5 hours. They operated like a well oiled machine, quickly and effortlessly disassembled and moved our furniture including an upright piano and several pieces with glass surfaces, and everything was done without a single dent or scratch. In addition to the moving crew, I would also commend the sales representative, Danielle Stan, for her experiences and exceptional service. When we were first reviewing moving company Daneille was the first to respond at 8pm and quickly gathered pertinent details via phone call. We did not expect our queries to be answered at night as all other queries got responses next morning. She patiently answered our questions and gave us the time and space to conclude that Keep Moving is the right choice. Despite our original plan of 2 movers, Danielle's recommendation to use three movers was spot on. In retrospect, her recommendation made the move incredibly smooth and efficient, lowering everyone's stress by notches. The moving crew was not only fast and efficient but also incredibly attentive to detail. At the destination home, Faisal asked for explicit instruction on where and what orientation to put every piece of furniture, saving time and energy from errant placement. They took great care when handling our furniture, especially the upright piano which they had wrapped up with protected covering and wrapping tape to ensure its safety during transport. They effortlessly lifted the upright piano three steps to its destination. Our homes' walls remained unscathed, without a single scratch anywhere thanks to their meticulous work. They were quick and skillful in both assembly and disassembly of some complex pieces of furniture. Furthermore, our electronic equipment, including older desktop computer, was well taken care of, and nothing suffered any damage during the move. Overall, I cannot express how satisfied we were with the services provided by the moving crew of Faisal, Irving, and Dider, along with the exceptional sales representative Danielle Stan, who all made our move as smooth and stress-free as possible. I called for help to finish unloading the moving truck. They showed up at estimated arrival time and within 1 hour they emptied the rest of the 26' moving truck and put everything exactly where we needed it. Summary: Incredibly professional, great customer service, and best pricing for a cross-state move (WA to CA). I moved from Seattle to San Diego in September 2021. I moved out of a 1250 sqft townhome into a 1000 sqft apartment. I called around in August to get various quotes, and Keep Moving was both the best priced and had the most helpful and accommodating customer service. My primary contact was Alex, who was very friendly and answered my plethora of questions with a lot of patience. For doing the estimate, I video called with Alex and he took inventory as I walked through my home. It was a fairly quick process. To Keep Moving's credit, their estimate was on target (no additional fees). I got helpful advice about choosing what to move vs what to get rid of (basically, cheap bulky Ikea furniture is cheaper to get rid of and re-acquire instead of moving). On pickup day, a crew of three guys showed up in the morning. They did a very meticulous job and they were very friendly. There was one mishap - they caused a hole in the drywall - but once I sent pictures and informed Alex, he assured me that they would definitely cover the damages. No hassles there. The delivery took one week, which was on the low end of their estimate (5-10 business days). The contractors they enlisted to unload on the San Diego side were incredibly professional. Moving long distances is a scary endeavour. I'm grateful to Alex and his crew for making things go so smoothly. Highly recommended. read more
