Update: Said they would pay me $600 in damages, but said that they would approve it once I removed my review off yelp. Read the 1-star reviews! I've moved 5 times in Seattle, and I can tell you that this was the worst experience. They arrived at my place 30 minutes late, which was fine. I didn't think much of it; I was excited to be moving out. I only needed them to move my furniture in my living room. I had a large couch, lamp, Credenza, 2 TV's, a Concrete Table, 2 bar stools, 2 deck chairs, 3 side tables, 1 subwoofer, 1 rug, and around 4 medium & 1 larger pieces of art. It took All Service Moving 3.5 hours to move those items into a truck. That's a long time because I also had junk removers who came and were able to get 7 large pieces of furniture removed in 15-20 minutes. There was a lot of standing around. I'm not sure if the newer guy was waiting for instructions, but I had to help the lead mover lift my heavy table while the new guy watched. I don't mind helping, but he could've helped me lift the table or moved other items. They charge by the hour, so that annoyed me. The newer guy talked about how the lead didn't know what he was doing and wouldn't listen. That was concerning to hear, but honestly, I agree with him. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes (they rounded to 1.5 hours when they charged me) for a drive that was 40 minutes (google maps). I tried to be patient; It's big truck and they seemed new, but 35 minutes longer than ETA is a big when paying hourly. 35 minutes was $150+ (they double driving time). When I drove up after it took 35 minutes. They were slow and careless carrying items. My partner had to tell them to place everything in our living room because moving things other rooms was taking too long. They placed parts of the fabric sides of my couch on the driveway even though the couch had legs. This caused the fabric to rip (see photos) and My partner had to tell them to stop. The top part of my concrete table didn't have a blanket, and the lead started rolling it on our wooden floors. My partner heard a crack and the lead stopped to take a look. My partner told him to put a blanket down, but the lead said it wasn't necessary. My table is chipped on two places, and it also is cracked in half (see photos) The lead told him to super glue the pieces back on to fix it. This is a $1,100 table! For the base, the newer mover told the lead it was too heavy. He told the lead to ask my partner to help carry it instead. So, my partner and lead carried the base of the table to our basement. Why are we paying movers and moving stuff ourselves? I hired them to carry the heavy furniture. All Service Moving should hire movers who are skilled/strong enough to move heavy furniture. They shouldn't expect their customers to do it. My partner also had to show the movers basic techniques like how to use shoulder straps for moving items. Does this company even vet or train their employees? Apparently not because the newer guy continued to mention how the lead didn't know what he was doing. We were offered $100 off our bill to accept the damages. Total price of my damaged furniture was $4,500+. I don't think $100 is a fair. My partner was asked 3 times to sign the release after consistently saying "No.". Who wants to feel pressured the end of their move? The manager called me, and I told him about the rolling table incident. The manager told me the movers wouldn't do that. He said that maybe they were using rollers, but they wouldn't just roll it. So, 1) you're calling me a liar and 2) you agree it sounds ridiculous. How do you imagine my partner felt when he saw them doing it? The manager should've asked the movers before shutting me down. He told me he was having trouble reaching them, which is why he called me. It's scary knowing All Service Moving will deny customer's feedback without getting both sides of the story. He pressured me to sign because it's a "better deal that way", and it provides "better customer service". It felt slimy to me. If we say we don't want to sign the paper the first time, why can't they accept it? After my partner gave the mover my credit card number on the form, the mover once again asked him to sign and said it was for the credit card, but it was the same line that that said everything was acceptable! It seemed like he was making one last effort to get a signature. My partner refused and they left. Total was $1,125 (charged for the 30 minutes they were late too). I emailed All Service Movers for damages form. Based on the reviews and speaking to the manager, recovering damages is a lengthy process (how convenient for them). I will update this review once that's completed. Please DON'T risk it with this company! The inconsistent service is not worth it! Especially when the management shuts you down quickly. Short version. It was a very smooth moving experience delivered by this moving team. I would highly recommend their service. Pro: Friendly, professional, honest, very hardworking, can't say enough good Things. Con: A bit slow (but I can live with it). Here is the Long version: My move team includes Royce, Jesse, Robert and another folk and two 30ft trucks. I had stuffs in three different locations, including two self storages(one roughly six miles away from apartment, and the other is cross street of the apartment), one garage and one two bedroom apartment unit. My destination is about 1 miles away from the apartment. My heavy items include one upright piano, one sectional sofa, one treadmill, three beds and one dining table. Initially, I thought a three man crew should be good enough, and I eventually opt for a four man crew. I am glad that I made that change. My moving appointment was set at 9am. At roughly 8:30am, Royce made a call to me and let me know they were on the way out from their warehouse. At 9am, he made another call to let me know that they would be late due to traffic. The move officially started at 9:35am (and they honest used that starting time in the final paperwork). It is well communicated over to me. The process was smooth. Two two-man crew with one 30ft truck each were starting at two different locations simultaneously. And the crew was in general very efficient. They haul my pre-packaged boxes into their dolley and moved to their truck very quickly. By 11:30 am, they already emptied all my stuff in the storage unit. They then moved to my second storage. Meanwhile, the other crew was moving my apartment. They handle my stuff very carefully. For instance, when moving my piano, they were very careful. They wrap my piano with blanket and then plastic wrapper. Then they slowly, but progressly moved it downstairs. At around 1:30pm, the two crews met up together at my apartment to finish all the remaining pieces. The crews took a half hour break for lunch, and then started to unload boxes to my new house. At around 5pm, they finished unloading everything. They literally worked eight and a half hours straight without stop. Very hardworking. To illustrate the amount of work they have done. At 5pm, my 3 car garage was piled with tons of boxes. Apartment from garage, I also have sofa, treadmill, beds on second floor, dining table and piano at main floor. It is nicely done. These crews are professional. They carefully put some temporary blankets on the hardwood floor to try the best to not step on it directly. They handled furnitures carefully and made sure nothing hit the dry wall, stairs etc. The crew are friendly. They want to impress the customer as much as possible. When they are done with the job, they will be happy to take off their shoes to step into the house. That shows a respective to me and my houses. The only thing that I am bit not 100% happy is that they seems to be slow. The two man crew who move my apartment spent about 4.5 hours to load things to one truck. Other than that, I do not think I have anything to complain. If I could do it again, I would do it slightly different. I would get more staff to pack up into boxes (I have many things in the loose package, such as plastic bags, and they still moved it for me). I would also ask them to bring some additional boxes, in case that I might run short of boxes later. I would ask them to load racks first to save one trip. I would want them to unload less frequently used items first, and more frequently used items later so I could get easy access to those more frequently used items. I would also print out the coupon from yelp first (Royce nicely still honor the coupon at the end). Bottom line: If you want someone to handle your valuable furniture and do not mind to pack/unpack yourself. I will still highly recommend them. They get things done nicely. Then last mins, we called All Service, they were able to squeeze us in , and second day , send 3 very young, healthy , handsome guy to our apt helping us Packing with patience and caring detailed to all my staff ! Obviously , they love what they do , have the passion too. We are so happy that they packed and moved all thing safely to a track, same day! 2 mover already on the way drive to CA, and now they are on the way ! My staff will arrived by tomorrow afternoon , and I never need to worry where my staff if mixed w others . It is private track, indicate track for ONLY you ! Safe ! Quick ! Effective! Efficiency! This was the second time we have used All Service Moving. Both times have been utterly wonderful. I will always look to All Service Moving for any future moving needs. This time we had a ferry to deal with. I was worried because buying tickets for large trucks AND figuring out the ferry schedule plus the tide tables can be pretty confusing so I was not looking forward to that. Scott handled all of it, and we didn't have to lift a finger- which was a huge relief. AND they managed to get loaded early enough to be able to get on the ferry without having to worry about low tide- which was great and saved SO MUCH TIME. They had no problem navigating The Island and found the new house with no trouble at all. They loaded quickly, efficiently, and took the utmost care with our items. They even un-shrink-wrapped everything once they brought it into the house and made sure everything was in the correct room. They even managed to get done fairly early in the day so we had plenty of time after they'd gone to get the place manageable before it was bedtime. Scott was training Matt at the time- and took care to explain each and every step to him so that he thoroughly understood the procedures as well as the forms he was asking us to sign. As always, they were willing to explain any and all questions we had, and were quite professional as well as easy going and very friendly. Not a single box was dropped. Not once did they check their phones or text. They didn't waste a single second of time- which is an amazing thing --my Father in Law recently moved as well- he used different movers. Those guys struggled with the ferry schedule, were late all three days they were on the job, and they texted/stopped and talked/stood around CONSTANTLY-- what should have been a one day job turned into three half days- it was terrible- so trust me when I say "when you find movers who value getting the job done efficiently they are worth their weight in gold" because they are. As a former USAF officer, my wife and I have moved over 25 times during my career. We've experienced great to poor movers in our past; however, we've never experienced such professional, courteous and friendly movers as the crew from All Service Moving. The move was scheduled to begin at 9:00 am: the crew arrived 5 minutes early (this is particularly noteworthy in Seattle traffic!). Each member of the crew, Ryder, Leon and Mana, greeted me with an introduction, a handshake and a smile: I've never been greeted in this manner by any moving company in my life! After an walk through of our house and discussion of what furniture/boxes to move, the crew immediately set upon to (i) load their truck with the boxes we packed, shrink-wrap wood pieces of furniture and, as necessary, pad and shrink wrap other pieces of furniture. Throughout the preparation and loading, the crew was professional and courteous; they paid attention to our wood floors, taking care to prevent damage to the floors, stairway carpet, and more. The drive to the new location required only 15 minutes after which the crew, again, immediately began the process of unloading and placing furniture where we indicated. This process required more time than I estimated (time required was approximately 5 hours vs. my estimate of 4 hours) due, in part, to having to use an elevator. Although the elevator had been 'frozen' on our behalf, the trip to the 18th floor did take some time. Nevertheless, the crew worked relentlessly, rarely pausing and then only to drink water or coca-cola. Upon completing the move, the crew was, again, totally professional in reviewing the charges and even asking for the Yelp discount coupon. If I could rate All Service Moving a 10, on Yelp's scale of 5, I would do so. Packing services - Stephen, Ryder and Mana did a great job packing my one bedroom apartment in 4 hours (1-2 hours less than the original estimate). They were great in communicating what time they would arrive and showed up on time. They had a great attitude and hustled throughout the entire move. One reminder for everyone who is moving from an apartment and getting packing services the day before - either reserve the elevator for their truck or ask them if there is another vehicle you can use. Stephen was great when the concierge informed him that the dock was not available as it was not reserved. Funny enough I heard from the concierge that this happens every time when people get packing services. The guys took it in stride and parallel parked a 31 ft truck in downtown Seattle and had to feed the meter a couple of times. Another hint - buying packing materials might save you some $$ as they will use them if you buy them. I did not. I did however have a few plastic bins and bags that the guys used to save some $$ on materials. What was great is that I didn't even ask them to do it. They had the right balance of working independently (enough so that I ended up working most of the time) and asking considerate questions (e.g. Should we pack the bed in the morning so you have somewhere to sleep or whether to dismantle the TV set up). Overall it was a great experience. Moving and unpacking is next! Will post if everything moves successfully and quality of packing holds through the move. Last recommendation - ask them to quote packing materials. That was quite a bit pricier than I thought but Stephen did let me know that they allow their customers to but them and Home Depot would be cheaper. I appreciated the information. read more

I highly recommend All Service Moving. We would absolutely hire them again in the future. I had originally received quotes from 4 different moving companies and went with All Service Moving based on the Yelp reviews, and I am happy I did! This company is based out of Seattle and Portland, and we hired a team from the Seattle area. They communicated well, arrived on time on the move date, and came with super positive attitudes. The members on our team were Nick, Marcus, and Bet (they were the best!). I had originally received a quote on the phone, which was not very accurate, but Nick checked our house before starting the move and gave me a new estimate on how much time he thought the move would take, which was much more accurate. Even though it was higher than what was estimated over the phone, we appreciated him being upfront about it at the beginning. The three of them were extremely efficient and had great time management throughout the moving process. They worked very hard and did not break or lose any of our items in the move. Our move included both stairs and an elevator. They disassembled and reassembled necessary furniture and were conscious about not scratching our hardwood floors (much appreciated). Once we were at our destination, there were a couple of times I had told them to place furniture on one floor and then realized I had to actually have them move it again to a different floor. They did not make any remarks or faces about the difficulty of moving the pieces, instead they maintained their positive and professional attitude and moved it again with no problems. Start to finish, this was the best moving experience we have ever had. It was not huge move, just the contents of our storage unit to our garage. So I found a Angie's list deal, with 2 men and a truck from All Service Movers this summer. I finally called to schedule it mid November. They were happy to help even though this was a very small job. I was pleased that there were weekends in December still open. Stephanie was very sweet and emailed me a confirmation. The day before, I email her to confirm all was still on. I received a very prompt reply that we were on the schedule and I would get a call from the lead in the morning. The lead Jesse called and was running a little late. So we were able to grab a cup of coffee before heading to the storage unit. Jesse and Anthony pulled up soon after we arrived at the storage facility in a 27 foot truck, definitely enough for our 12x12 storage unit. They worked quickly and carefully to load move all the boxes and items onto the truck. They were concerned about some breakable items, which we put in our SUV instead. 90 minutes of loading and we were heading to our home. Jessie and Anthony maneuvered the large van down and alley and backed into our tight driveway. And the unloading began. They were always polite and respectful to ask where we wanted the items to be placed. Soon the garage was filled and we took a few picture to remember our all-star crew, which we affectionately called the "A-Team." All Service Moving moved us from Seattle to Los Angeles and they did an AMAZING job. Joey, Jerry and Big John came and loaded our two story house onto the ASM truck (which Joey handled beautifully on residential streets). Joey and Jerry also did some packing for us - the kitchen and a LOT of framed art. That's a lot of glass, and every little bit of it arrived intact. The only casualty of the move was a West Elm floor lamp and a random lamp shade, but the last time I moved from CA to WA the moving company (NOT All Service Moving) broke almost every single piece of antique furniture I own! So, it feels like a small miracle to have only sacrificed a single item to the moving gods. The moving men were professional and courteous. Joey in particular has an AMAZING attitude, and it just makes a difference to have a company dedicate an entire truck to you so you don't risk losing your things to other moves, or having it get damaged by being loaded on and off the truck multiple times. I should add that ASM scheduled me for my move at the height of the summer rush with very little advanced notice. Amazing. Joey in particular went above and beyond. In driving our stuff down, he had to contend with CA wildfires and an unexpected detour, as well as losing Jerry to a dirt bike accident the day before the scheduled move (Jerry's fine, just needed to recover), which meant Joey had to work with a local crew that he didn't know when he got to CA. AND there was a heat wave in CA the day of the move. Joey handled it all with grace and humor. I would move with ASM again in a heartbeat. Like others, finding a moving service can be a challenge especially reading all the reviews. No service is perfect obviously but you make the best choice available to you at the time. I've never used All Service Moving before but the reviews looked really good and I decided to take a chance. We were moving out of a 3 bedroom town house in Bellevue into a 4 bedroom house in Woodinville so we had a lot of stuff. All Service Moving had very good communication by email and phone to make sure everything was ready to go and that they'd be there by 9am on a Saturday. They were actually early and after I gave them a rundown they went right to work. We had 3 workers: Michael, Leon & Bett... can't say enough about them as they kicked ass! They wrapped all the items that needed it and packed everything into the truck like sardines... in other words they definitely utilized every inch of space possible and nothing was broken on the other end of the trip. They did take a break and had lunch, asked me first and said the time would be deducted from the final bill. It's hard work, you have to take a break, get some energy and keep your sanity throughout the whole process and I appreciated them letting me know. Once they got to our new house they went right to work and hammered it out, asking where we'd like everything. In the end it was a little over 7 hour job but well worth the price and time. The entire process from start to finish was top notch, so much so in fact that my wife's parents will be moving into a new place within the next few weeks and I'll definitely be using them again. Definitely worth more than 5 stars! Before getting into details, this company is efficient, affordable, and prompt! Shout out to Fleetwood and Jerimiah for being so amazing!!! Now for details: This company made moving during snowmageddon a lot less stressful! Had to be moved out of my old apartment by Friday (2/8) but of course that's when the storm hit and it was near impossible to continue. Next morning decided to get quotes from different moving companies before the next wave of snow came around, and this company was first to respond -- very next day, AND on a Sunday! Received the quote AND was able to schedule the move as soon as the next clear day was in forecast (upcoming Wednesday). I eventually received quotes from the other companies, but All Service Moving had the most affordable price/within budget and was able to schedule me in as soon as possible for having such a last minute/urgent request. The service was incredible as well! Both the scheduling and the physical moving just removed another weight off my shoulder. My old apartment did nothing to clear the snow in the parking lot, but All Service Moving was prepared and brought their own shovel and sand to help clear a path. There was also an incident where the driveway wasn't clear enough for the truck to get out (too much slush and cars blocking the way). But Fleetwood and Jerimiah made it work and still was able to get to my new apartment and unload everything in such good time! You will not be disappointed with All Service Moving!!! I had a vending machine delivered to The Outlet Collection in Auburn. The machine was 1,800 lbs, on a pallet and damn near impossible to move with a pallet jack. I panicked, not able to move it from the dock to the middle of the mall. I called 5 moving companies around 3:30p frantic, hoping they could help me. I called All Service Moving and everything turned around. The dispatcher on the call mentioned she may be able to find someone for me. I waited on hold for a little bit and I was almost certain she was going to say no they couldn't do it. She came back and said hey I have 4 guys with a pallet jack ready to assistance in 30 minutes. Ryder, Royce, Donald, and "country" showed up so quick and so professional. They offered multiple plans to move the unit and they assured me they could make it happen, I was skeptical. Sure enough, these guys got their straps, and all of their tools to make it happen and moved it for me in less than 30-45 minutes. These guys are true professionals. And literally showed up on a 30 minute notice. They even unwrapped the machine and took the trash with them. I will have more machines delivered around western Washington in the future, this is my new team! They are basically employees of Wmzy now. We are business partners at this point! I appreciate the help fellas. You made my day work. This was my first machine for my company and they made it happen for me! Also, I should mention this was during the All Star game here in Seattle. When I found All Service Moving I was a bit skeptical...A 5-star moving company? I gave them a call and all my questions were answered by Christine who gave a very clear rundown of the costs and provided an estimate of the time and team needed. I called a few other folks and not only were the rates higher they weren't as thorough in asking questions to assess my needs. I called back and set the date. The day before our move I got a confirmation call. The morning of the move Ryder and Robert pulled up right on time and ready to work! After a quick look around of our boxes and furniture they got started. They wrapped and padded the furniture I requested and packed it all in to the truck very professionally and securely. I was actually amazed, the precision was Tetris like. As good as it looked the real test is what gets damaged on the drive. After several hours of moving Robert and Ryder finished and followed me over to the new house. My driveway is not super easy, it's pretty difficult actually, to navigate with a huge moving truck but Ryder got it done! The unloading experience was great. The team politely confirmed where everything went and worked very efficiently. Best of all, none of our furniture or belongings were damaged. Although I don't plan to move for many years I hope this company is still around when we do. In the mean time I will recommend them to everyone I know. First, manager Ron met us at our two storage units and gave us a spot-on estimate. Then, the All Service Moving Crew of 4 guys/2 trucks assigned to our job arrived on moving day on-time and ready to work. They were absolutely AMAZING. This is our second move with this company (there will be others, for sure) and they came thru once again. They handled our things carefully and took extra time to accommodate our wishes. They wrapped stuff that needed wrapping and padded stuff that needed padding. They stacked efficiently and as accessible as possible (we moved our stuff from two storage units -in two locations- into two different, very large storage units. They happily accommodated us. Oh, and they aren't lazy, either. There are hours of hustle in these movers. You might even catch some of them running up and down the ramps from time to time. He kept us updated on travel time between cities and their loading and unloading progress. All City Moving is Aces in our Eyes! I can't speak highly enough of this company!! I have had jobs that required my moving around three continents; and east and west, north and south in America. By far, this was the best move I have ever experienced. Jose, the lead of the team that performed the physical move, was beyond impressive. Some of my furniture required a little MacGyver skills to put in place at new home. Jose's problem solving skills were methodically, deliberate, and performed in a such a mature manner that extended beyond him being in his early 20's. Mana, the lead for day of packing, exceeded the definition of politeness. He went out of his way to let me know when the team came across certain items they were not legally able to pack. He came upon two laptops in one room to pack. Rather than just pack them up, he took the time to ask me if I used them for work, and should be set aside. The rest of the team for my two day pack-up and move: Travis, Robert, and Scotty worked so hard, I asked them once if they had taken a break, yet. My move took close to 12 hours to complete both days. Jose and Travis were there for both days. Mana, Robert, and Scotty each for one day. Throughout both days I didn't hear one word of discourse from anyone. Most times my sense was that they enjoyed what they were doing.
