Amazing job. We lived in an apartment that was on the sixth floor and had a shared elevator and moved into a three story townhome. The guys showed up a bit late, but man did the work hard. What I thought was going to be a four hour job turned into an 8 hour day and they worked hard the entire time (minus their well deserved lunch break). You never know the amount of stuff you've accumulated until you move out. The guys were moving boxes up two flights of stairs like it was easy. I've hired movers many times over the last decade and hands down, they were the best. They took care of our stuff. This was my first move that nothing broke! If you're like me, you hate moving and you hate having to line up a mover. If you're in that boat, call up Washingtons Movers and they will get the job done. I recommend doing your homework around doing the packing yourself. If you do pack yourself, get the right moving boxes, label them properly and leave it to Joshua and team. If you need them to pack for you, they'll do it as well although all I had them do was carry my coats, dismantle our beds and exercise equipment and re-assemble them at the new place. For the hassle free move, they are more than worth the money I paid them. Will call this company again if we ever move inside this state. read more

Disappointing. The movers did not wear masks, and did not ask me if that was okay. They instead presented it as a fact: "we do not wear masks while loading and unloading." This was a clear violation of the statewide mask mandate, which requires wearing masks in apartment building hallways. They ignored signs in the building I moved into which stated the masks are required. This demonstrated little understanding of the pandemic and little concern for my safety. It was so odd, because they were otherwise really good and helpful. But this is a big red flag and a major violation of my trust, as well as the governor's order. Not all moves are planned. When my brother passed away unexpectedly, I needed to remove the furniture and personal items from his home and transport it all to my home. Washingtons Movers came to my rescue. Josh and Josiah were professional, pleasant and a joy to work with. Their truck was clean, their packing equipment was plentiful and Josh and Josiah got to work, got the house packed up and took items that were designated to go to the landfill along with the load. On the way to my home, they stopped off at the transfer station and unloaded the unwanted items and came, with smiles to unload at my home. Being December in Washington, the rain poured, the truck could not access my driveway, but fortunately the neighbors are friendly and they parked there, carrying items with smiles across the driveways and into my home. Did I write that they were all smiles? Such troopers!!! I cannot thank these two men enough for the care they showed me and my son during a very difficult time. So, one nugget I didn't add in my original review is that while moving out our couch, they had to take it out the back and through the backyard. In doing so one of the guys ended up knocking over my retaining wall. At the moment, I thought it would be no big deal to re-stack the wall later and I told him not to worry about it. A few weeks after moving and getting the new house all settled, I finally went to the house we are going to sell and re-stack the wall. It ended up being a bit more work than I anticipated, so I emailed Leland to see if they could possibly come out and help me, I told him we are selling the house and I've got a million things to do (paint, pressure wash, update the kitchen, bathrooms, replace trim, etc, so I didn't have another hour or two to re-stack the retaining wall that they destroyed. It has been 5 days and not even a response... This is a shame, considering we took less than the 4 hour minimum to move and we still paid in full and we tipped them $40 each (120 total) even though they destroyed my wall and now that I've requested them to help they've gone silent. read more

Would use these guys again in a heartbeat. I moved from Seattle to Monroe. From a townhouse with narrow stairs and low height to a rambler. They were all hustle while both loading and unloading. There was no damage and they were extremely careful when it came to not dinging walls and hitting lights. The total came in about $400 less than what was quoted because of how quickly they worked. They were friendly, quick to respond throughout the quote process, and overall very easy to work with.
