Updates: Melanie got back to me quickly after my review and she was serious about improving my moving experience with the company. She apologized for stressful experience and told me that she had spoken with the driver regarding making the start time, break time clear when writing the invoice at the end of move. Additionally, she adjusted the time charged to something that was expected/reasonable with 3 movers for 1 bedroom apartment. I changed my star rating (from 3 to 5stars) because my last encounter with Melanie showed that the company really strives to achieve customer satisfaction. The part that changed my mind the most wasn't the refund (well, a little, to be honest) but the fact that she spoke with the driver about the issues and took an action to prevent it from happening again. Even if your moving experience is not up to your standards for whatever reasons, you can't go wrong with the company that highly values customer satisfaction and feedback. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pros: Very responsive, cares a lot about customer care & satisfaction, easy booking. Took much longer (6hrs) to move 1bedroom apt with 3movers than my previous move (4hours 2movers). Here is the timeline of the day 9:25AM - The crew called me telling me they are headed my way from Kirkland to Bellevue. 9:50 AM - The crew got to Bellevue apt. With the morning traffic, travel time between the station at Kirkland and my apt. on google map was 17mins (6.7miles). 12:30PM - I left the apartment after they finished loading to go to my new apartment in Kirkland. 12:40 PM - I got to the new apartment. 10min drive. 1:07PM - The crew got to the Kirkland apartment 3:25PM - They finished moving. They charged me from 9:15 AM - 3:30PM. When I called them at 1pm wondering where they were, they said they stopped and filled up gas. Their time starts when they leave their station in Kirkland. The fuel should've been already taken care of beforehand I was stressed and tired after the whole move. I didn't have energy to argue. so I just paid. Then, I slept on it and just felt overcharged and taken advantage of. So I called the company and filed a complaint. Melanie got back to me quickly and we set up a time to discuss the issues. She offered to take off some of the time that was charged to me. She issued the refund almost immediately. She made it very hassle free in that regard but I still didn't feel my complaint wasn't heard or understood well after the phone call. read more

We called their number a dozen times and we were unable to get ahold of anyone to who could give us information. We had to book new movers at the last minute. Always a daunting task, moving can be much worse if you can't trust your movers. Even worse now during the pandemic. I reached out on Yelp and got lots of quotes, but InMove was fast, gave me all the right info, asked all the right questions, and came highly rated. The whole arrangement process was very easy. Day of, the InMove team showed up on time and ready to go. They were a fantastic group of guys. Very professional, overly respectful, safe, efficient, and just good to have around. I left several times for errands to the other house and they just kept chugging along like a neighbor or a friend. They would update me regularly on things, ask me how I wanted difficult stuff done, and just raised the bar much higher for what movers have to offer. I am so incredibly happy with the whole outcome. I needed movers to move furniture from my upstairs to the downstairs so the flooring could be replaced. My girls and I worked hard to box up all the contents and move them downstairs so al the movers had to do is move furniture (and dismantle the closet systems). I am the repeat customer of InMove and had another great service today. Sidney and team were efficient in moving boxes and furniture and completed the move in reasonable time. They kept up great energy throughout the process inspite of having completed another customer's move just few minutes before taking up our move. I rated 4 stars, only for the reason that the InMove management team could have done a better job tracking their team who was assigned for our move. InMove is great. I've worked with them for my last three moves and I have had a great experience each time. This time my team was James, Sidney and Dale. These guys really know what they are doing. They have a good sense of humor and keep the energy positive. Also of note is that they have a truck with a powered lift gate which makes a big difference if you have any items that are truly big and heavy (like an arcade machine). We used InMove today and they were amazing! They brought a huge truck with a hydraulic lift and all of the solleys, moving blankets and plastic wrap we needed. They moved us out of our old home and into the new one in 3 hours and that included a very heavy piano(which they did not charge extra for!). The price was very cheap for all that was included.. Excellent service. Quality young men. Our home was over three stories of stairs and we had over 200 boxes plus all the furniture and that random junk from the yard and garage that does not fit into boxes. These guys hustled. I just finished unpacking everything and did not find one single broken or damaged item. Can not recommend them highly enough. The quote process was fabulous too. We video called and the office staff was able to see everything the movers would be responsible for. There was even a chest freezer we had later decided to give away and the young men asked me "Isn't there supposed to be a freezer?". That is the kind of attention to detail I really appreciated. Everyone knows when it's time to move you tend to forget a lot of things while you're focusing on getting things in an organized. It was nice to have these guys help out so much with my move. I didn't have the things that I needed I was not prepared and they came in and assisted with a lot of the extra duties that I needed. Every square inch of space was used, which not only helped save us over $700 but also helped protect our stuff during the move. This was my second time using InMove and once again, they did a great job. I was able to get them scheduled very quickly and the price was well worth it. They called me about 15 minutes before they arrived and were right on time. The only had to move my furniture but they got it all loaded and unloaded in record time. I didn't realize until later in the evening that a large mirror never made it off the truck but they were able to drop if off for me the next day. We had a terrible experience with Inmove company. It was a Friday and the moving people were scheduled to arrive between 12-3 in the afternoon. We were told by the move coordinator Justine that the earlier shift for these guys was delayed and hence they will be arriving soon. She kept in touch until 4 pm and left office for the day. We kept calling the general number for updates which was answered by customer care agents. Every time the agent would take the message and told me that someone would reach out to me. But we don't know the where bouts of the moving crew. We kept calling like every 20-25 mins. Every time its a different agent who would answer. The agents kept repeating the same thing like a script that "we have taken your message and someone will call you back". This went on for next 3 hours and its 7 PM. We already called the general number 8 or 9 times. Still no clue or info about the moving crew !!!! We figured out that no one is going to show up !!! We panicked so much that we started calling other moving companies in the area. After 30 mins of effort we found a different moving company who charged double the rate for last minute reservation !! While they were on the way by about 7.30 pm, the driver from Inmove eventually called me and said they can be here in 20 minutes. I said not required anymore. What a stressful experience !!!
