I previously wrote a negative review based on a communication issue that I had with this company, but after the excellent response that I got from Melanie regarding resolving my concerns went a long way to allay my initial grievance, along with the detailed information that she provided, I'm convinced that a good portion of my initial complaint was due to simple email based miscommunication, a portion of an email that I received, that I had apparently failed to thoroughly read. As far as service, the guys who moved my furniture were respectful, professional, efficient and fast! I have not one scuffed wall, and they made sure to carefully wrap fragile items so that everything that arrived, did so in one piece. The cost of the move was very reasonable, especially compared to several estimates from local competitors, (and the misery of DIY via Uhaul). We used InMove recently when we moved from our condo in Redmond to a new house we bought in Kirkland. My husband had hired cheap movers before and a couple of his things ended up getting damaged so when a friend referred me to Sidney at InMove I decided to call them for an estimate. He sent us a quote within a day and then called me to make sure everything looked OK. I thought their prices were reasonable, $135/hour for 2 movers and a medium size moving truck and he also gave me an estimate on how long they thought the move would take. On moving day they showed up right on time though we were a little behind with packing the rest of our boxes. They got started right away with wrapping up our furniture and loading the truck while we finished packing. There were some expensive pieces of furniture I was worried about including a vintage dining room table and chairs but they wrapped them very securely and nothing got damaged. Having been through a previous move not 9 months prior, I needed to find a team that could get my property into a new home on relatively short notice. This was only compounded by the inconvenience of Covid19. InMove was one of the first to reach out. Melanie was quick to respond to my Yelp quote query and had me on the books within 24 hours. I mentioned a potential issue with my community's street layout and was uncertain if the 26-foot truck that was scheduled could maneuver the available space. The following day Sidney arrived and we looked over the space together. Wasn't going to be an issue. Sure enough on moving day Jaleel, Shane, and Riley showed up on time, were polite, respectful and communicative through the whole experience. Couldn't have asked for a better team. One of my best moving experiences, and I've had more than I care to admit! Mike, Miguel and Eric were superb, efficient and communicative. I received a text with an ETA the morning of the move. As soon as they arrived they walked through the house with me and identified what priorities were, what was/wasn't going. They drew up their plan of attack and went to work! Really impressed with their independence and work ethic - they completed the move out and in, with several dis and re-assembly projects, in much less time than I anticipated. Professional, funny and friendly - their good nature, teamwork and my bro-hug from Mike when all was said and done made what could have been a stressful day kinda fun. Like all of you I dread moving more than just about anything you can imagine and unfortunately I'm too old and too tired to do it by myself. So I was preparing myself for the inevitable, you know movers who screw you every chance they get and the price just keeps going up, up, up. I was pleasantly surprised with InMove. Not only were they significantly less than their competitor's quotes, the owner Sidney was so thorough with his questions regarding my move that my final price was within mere dollars of the original estimate. Sidney, who runs the business, was a pleasure to deal with--lots of good advice, thoroughly interviewed me to understand the job, and kept me posted at every step of the way. It was a complicated 2-day multi-location move -- we ended with two 28 foot semi-trailers packed to the gills. I was really worried about something going wrong or being late because of the complexity of the job and because we were on a tight schedule. What actually happened was the opposite of wrong--everything went smooth as glass and faster than I would have believed possible. At 4pm on day two, it took me a minute to wrap my mind around....wow, it's really all done. The InMove crew was friendly, professional and FAST. Sydney and his team (James, Bill and Slava) were polite, friendly, efficient and professional and made the move easy and fun. They were very thoughtful, meticulous and careful when moving furniture around tight corners, through the small doors and across wood floors in our house. Nothing got dinged or damaged. Sydney was training one of the newer members of the team and it was interesting to see the level of detail he emphasized in the techniques to ensure that everyone had the same level of competency on this team. I felt they were priced very fairly for the quality of work and service, and were more reasonable than most of the other quotes that I got from competitors. BIG shout out to Marcus and Michael, they made our move seem so easy! I loved the entire experience I had with InMove, right from booking them, and then the movers arriving on time and till the last box was moved to its place. These guys were thoroughly professional and efficient. I have already started recommending them to my friends and would recommend them to anyone. They were VERY careful about every thing they moved, and they used appropriate tools and protection. For the entire 3.5 hrs of the move, they never took any break and they worked to accommodate our packing and unpacking preferences. Only thing that could have made me happier was if I was not charged the full hourly price for the time in commute, but I totally understand why they need to do that and their efficient work makes up for it. read more

Melanie was prompt in her communication and on day of move, while the movers were late, I received a call from driver telling me they were going to be late and to estimate when they were going to be there. My one bedroom apartment move had 2.5+ flights of stairs on each end...and the three guys were friendly, helpful, and cheerful during the whole ordeal! James G. was extremely efficient as the leader of the group and packed that truck like it was going out of style (tetris!). The whole experience was budget-friendly (despite inMove being in Kirkland, the total was less than the moving quotes from Seattle-based businesses) and in the end, there was nothing scratched or broken from the haul! Melanie, who took my call was very kind and I was scheduled within a week! The two gentlemen, Clint and Shane were amazing from start to finish! They are very kind people and took good care of everything that was moved. They made sure to alleviate you of any worries! (Asking if shoes on/off, wrapping and taping objects, not hitting walls, taping plugs up so cord won't drag, etc.) I was especially worried for them to move my super heavy treadmill, but they managed to do it with ease! AMAZING service! This company is the ONLY company I will recommend for anyone moving locally or beyond. They arrived on time, took great care with my things. Got everything packed up and moved in to my home with precision. Beyond their skill as movers, Sidney and his team are FULL of heart. I know the decision of a mover based on their heart isn't high on the list in the decision making process; and it wasn't for me - until now. Moving is stressful, even in the midst of joy. I've known Sidney for a while as he was one of my clients. Not only did they carefully & expertly transport my belongings, they did so with happy, positive attitudes, which really helped alleviate some of the stress of moving. This was our second time using InMove and I definitely recommend them for moving services. We needed their services for our house moving items that we could not do ourselves. Scheduling the move was easy and the prices are good and reasonable. Our movers did an amazing, careful, and very efficient job moving our items! When they had questions they made sure to check-in with us. They were so careful with some of the more difficult items to move. They also followed COVID-19 precautions - no issue there. My agent recommended this company to me and I liked them a lot. Sydney came and helped us to finish the estimation. The estimation and schedule process finished smoothly. Marcus, Daniel, Sydney and Mike came on the moving day. They are all very strong and have great muscles. I have a lot of paintings and some very heavy furniture. They moved fast on disassembling, moving and assembling the furniture and they protect my paintings very carefully. These guys are very easy to communicate and fulfill all my requests when they are able to. Sidney and his crew came on time. Truck was clean and ready with all the necessary items to pack up my stuff. They were all very neat and professional knew what they were doing. We were moving some stuff to storage up in Blaine from Bellevue and furniture to consignment and the Goodwill. He came by about a week before the move and checked out the load and helped us with moving a huge secretary/hutch up to the garage, We were asking him what we should do and he just did it ! Amazing.
