Went here to dinner the other night with my fiance... I must admit that I was a little hesitant. I am often wary about the big chain restaurants. However; with this place I didnt get that vibe. The staff was super courteous and knowledgeable. The staff was also very personable. My fiance had the lobster stuff ravioli which she loved. I got the pork tenderloin and the only issue I had with my meal was that there was not enough! Very good and reasonable. We will definitely go back. read more

The drinks were great and then everything else was not. The food was worthy of Applebee's and not much more. Service was terrible. Never saw him again until 30 minutes after we finished our meal and then it took 15 minutes to get the bill. Leaving we noticed that the managers could care less. Not going back and do not recommend it. read more

Fresh and delicious food. Wonderful wine choices. Very pricy. Nice booths. Good service. We had a fun night

Pluses: All entrees are under 500 calories (yet not at all skimpy). Excellent atmosphere and decor feels both expensive and comforting. Service, while formal, is friendly. Wine list is (almost exhaustingly) long, nicely chosen, and marked up with a sense of fairness. These people certainly know how to cook fish properly, which is more difficult than most would think. Valet parking (with self-retrieval) is "free" aside from tipping. A pianist is on duty every evening, which is a nice touch. Minuses: Some attempts at elegance come across as simply pretentious (see napkins below for an example). Far fewer fish choices than one would expect. When choosing the safe path vs the innovative path, one gets the distinct impression that they consistently value the safe (though many diners might prefer this). Want a beer? They have 2 bottles to choose from. Too few of their wine choices are available by the glass. I wouldn't normally set foot in a restaurant during its first month, but it just worked out that way. In fact, one might not even know the place was open yet amidst the Rookwood construction dust. When I was seated at my table, the Host traded my white napkin for a black one, since I was wearing dark wool pants. Nice, but since they use synthetic napkins, there wasn't really any lint risk. Cincinnatians (who are notorious for taking their children everywhere) might be shocked to not be offered a kid menu, but our server got an A+ in accommodating the picky palates of the kids, so it all worked out. The two private dining rooms are wonderfully inviting. I never would have thought that Darden (the folks responsible for Red Lobster, Longhorn, and Olive Garden) could pull this off, so I apologize to them, now. Nice work, folks. I would have awarded 5 stars if either the menu had been a little more adventurous, OR our $35/person pre-tip bill (for entrees and one beverage) had been under $30, OR the menu had offered a couple more fish choices. Worth the trip, and an especially good place to entertain clients, or other people whose tastes you don't know, as the flavors are uncontroversial and pleasant. read more

My friend and I came here for dinner last night and it was delicious! I love that they have fire at the entrance, it makes the whole place feel so cozy. All of the staff is very kind and accommodating. We decided to sit at the bar because there was live music, a pianist was singing covers of songs and he was great! I ordered the pesto chicken flat bread and a side of brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were made with parmesan and bacon, so of course they were delicious. I love that their menu is constantly changing, so it's almost like you're eating at a different restaurant every time! I didn't order any drinks, but I looked at the menu, and they have a great selection! Would definitely recommend! read more

This was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. My husband and I were celebrating Valentine's Day the day after Valentine's Day. We decided to go Seasons 52 since we had a Darden gift card from Christmas. While we were waiting for our table, we went to the bar to have a drink. When we sat down the bar was dirty with dishes from previous guest which wasn't a big deal but the bartender clearly notice us and left the dishes there in front of us for way to long. He even waited on other guest that sat down after us before us. When he finally took our drink order his attitude towards us seemed as if we were bothering him by sitting at his bar, it made me feel so unwelcome. When our table was ready we were sat at a both in the bar which meant the other bartender that was working the tables in the bar would be waiting on us. It took him ten minutes to greet us and when he did he pretty much said "so what do you want." At this point we already knew what we wanted so we ordered our entrees and 2 extra sides to accompany our meals to share. When our food arrived the two extra sides were missing and we never got to ask for them because our server never checked back until we were almost finished. At this point we had had enough and just wanted to pay the check and get out of there. So we payed and left. Basically every employee we encountered gave us terrible service. We no longer work in the industry but Between my husband and I we probably have about 20yrs of service industry experience. We've both served and bartended and understand that your not always in your A game but these two bartenders just weren't even trying. I know it can be stressful job but I should never feel like I'm a bother to you. In conclusion we won't be back anytime soon which is a shame because the food was quite good but the service was just that bad. read more

We had our anniversary dinner here and with the wife being gluten free and also doesn't eat meat this was a great option. Flatbread (gluten free) was really good, tuna tartare (gluten free crisps) was great, watermelon salad was refreshing and the salmon special was cooked perfect. The service was excellent and they even had a card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary along with champagne for us to toast. Can't beat that! read more

My boyfriend and I enjoyed this place pretty well. I like the concept-seasonally themed and low in calories. It's the Olive Garden company and it feels like a nicer Olive Garden. They have 72 (I think) wines, 60 by the glass that are well described. I really liked how they listed the whites by level of oakiness because I don't like Oaked whites. The prices were as you would expect. The offered a cab franc, which is sometimes hard to find. The service was great, as you expect from a chain. The chef brought us a sample while we waited. We had the mushroom app. It was a little salty and you could tell the crab and shrimp had been frozen, but it was good. The boy had the trout, which we both liked and was a large portion. I had the Maui salad. The rare tuna was not at all fishy and I enjoyed it. 55 bucks, we were out the door in about 40 minutes. I'd go back again for quick and friendly service and consistent food. read more

The salmon salad I had was delicious. The salmon was crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. The organic greens were fresh and the dressing was well balanced. Love the elegant atmosphere. read more

I go here for bigger events, food is good and has a lot of options! Filet mignon and the lobster tail is what I usually get. Only complaint I have is I always ask for a medium steak and somehow get well done. To each their own I guess read more

Totally overpriced for the food you're served. Ordered beer on the menu to be told it's not available. Waited a half hour for beer to be served. Ordered flat bread only to have it come out charcoal black. Only reason we went there in the first place is because we had a group of about 25 friends meet after work. We left early and went to a festival in Deer Park. Had better beer and better food for a lot less than we did at Seasons 52. Definitely won't be going back. Ever. read more

We had a very good meal tonight at Seasons 52. We shared the flatbread appetizer and I had the scallops which were very good. The service was very good as well. I would have given them five stars based on food and service with one exception that really upset me. We were a group of five and ordered two bottles of wine with dinner. At the end of the dinner, the assistant manager put spoons down in front of each of us. We said, well they must be giving us a complimentary dessert because we had spent over $350 on dinner. They then brought a platter of small desserts and left it with us. We ate them and then saw that we were charged for them. Maybe we should have asked, but normally they only bring utensils when you order a dessert. We paid for them and left a good tip, but I won't go back anytime soon. It seemed dishonest to me and left me with a bad feeling toward the restaurant. read more

Came for their Thanksgiving dinner and oh my! It is on the pricey side but the food is solid and on point. So yummy!

Amazing wine list and beverage choices! Live music and ambiance makes it the place to be for the weekend. I really enjoyed the Chipotle Shrimp flat bread and the Cedar Plank Salmon. Very busy place and totally worth the wait. I really enjoyed the Grape Fruit Martini absolutely delicious! read more

I met my sister and mom for happy hour at Seasons 52 last Friday and it was awesome! I will definitely be coming back. In the bar area, they have a great deal that I highly recommend taking advantage of. For $15, you can do a wine flight tasting of 3 different wines, either red or white. The wines are hand selected and change each week. Whichever one you enjoyed the most, you receive a full glass of. Additionally, you get a flat bread of your choice and there are many options to choose from. We each got a different one so we could share. We got a garlic chicken pesto, artichoke with goat cheese, and roasted Roma tomato. They were all to die for, but my favorite was probably the roasted veggie goat cheese. Our server was also incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, and even let us taste some we were curious about that weren't a part of the flight. We also ordered their blistered shishito peppers because all their small plates are only $5 for happy hour. Wow those are good! They are served with roasted corn, goat cheese, and lemon aioli. Towards the end of our happy hour, live music started playing in the bar area which was fun. I couldn't help but check out the full menu even though we weren't there for dinner. I must say, everything sounded incredible and I need to make dinner plans here asap. Seasons 52 is all about eating seasonally, so there menu changes to celebrate what's in season at the time. They also believe in using rustic cooking techniques to bring out the best, natural flavor in food. Let's just say, I can't wait to come back for dinner! And I'll update my review when I do :) read more

Seasons 52 - Flat breads - New American Near Me - Cincinnati, Ohio

So disappointed since it was a favorite for me. I believe a dining experience starts with the server. Our server probably could use some refresher tips on serving 101. Actually, I can't address his name because I don't know it and he didn't give me a receipt. He seemed very rushed, no suggestions, no nothing. We ordered a flatbread to start with drinks, that came after the soup and right before the meal. Flatbread heavy on the drizzle and cold, soups were warm but delicious. My lunch gnocchi with vegetable were disappointing not what I thought, and my daughter's was nothing more than a grilled chicken breast sandwich she could have gotten anywhere. If you would have had an attentive server my meal might have been a different choice. Dessert was delicious. I was using a complimentary gift card and felt I would tip him above required amount because it was the holiday and hopeful it was an off day for him, and it would up his attitude. On a $62 tab I gave him a $20 cash which is over 30%! Never said 'thank you' 'have a nice holiday' and was never to be seen again. What was confusing I was having a conversation with the manager at my table (nothing to do with him, service, or food) you would think he would been slightly attentive at that point. No. Here's my thought if the restaurant is going to raise their prices which I get, I personally think the server needs to be on their game and represent that they are worthy of our business and raised prices the end result would affect you tip in a positive way. The 2 stars represents -1 for food -2 for server read more

I was surprised how much I enjoyed this place. The ambiance is romantic. This is a perfect date night place. They offer a varied amount of seasonal cocktails and had a great wine list. Our table ordered a few different appetizers. My favorite was the duck wing lollipops; big, meaty, sweet n spicy goodness! They were full of flavor. I don't even like beets but they way they paired them up with goat cheese and pistachios I couldn't get enough. I loved the unique types of entrees. I was super impressed with their paella. I have never had better scallops. The desserts are too good. I wish they were bigger but appreciate that you really don't need much more. Our service was impeccable! Our waitress was helpful and kind. I can see myself going there often. read more

Disappointing menu....the exact same menu is recycled year after year. Not one new item on the menu in almost two years. Not worth the money. read more

My BF and I ate here on Valentine's Day. We had the chief recommendation flatbread with braised short rib, cheddar cheese, sour cream and pickled onions. It was ok-you really could not taste the cheese. We also ordered the shishito peppers- they would have tasted better if they were stuffed with the corn and cheese. I ordered the scallops and they were awesome- had a smoky taste and the butternut squash risotto was delish! The broccoli was ok- a little overdone for my taste. My BF got the sea bass and he said it was good, but he wished there were more mushrooms. It came with black rice- there was more than enough rice compared to fish. We ordered the key lime and raspberry canoli desserts. I wish we could eat those everyday!!! read more

My husband and I visited Seasons 52 at Rookwood Plaza for our anniversary today. The atmosphere is very nice. There are many vegetarian choices but there is also a variety to pick from for all tastes. We each had the tomato flatbread and variety greens salad pairing. Everything tasted great and very fresh. Raphael was our waiter and made our visit special with his great sense of humor and complimentary desserts. Highly recommended for their freshness, healthy food choices, and friendly staff. read more

Easter Brunch today was delicious. Danielle was perfectly attentive (and honest with her recommendations). Lobster flatbread was delightful. Hubby got Eggs Benedict and loved them even though they were vegetarian. Kids were thrilled with ricotta ravioli and Eggs Benedict. I didn't love my grapefruit specialty cocktail and Danielle was happy to replace it with another option. Bite sized desserts were perfect. Love that all menu selections include a calorie count. Hope to be back soon. read more

Yes, like most reviewers have mentioned, it does feel like a chain. Regardless, I like the atmosphere and ambiance. The food however is hit and miss. I have found some of the food to be quite bland. And you will find that a very diverse menu can spread the goodness a bit too thin. Speaking of thin, they have flat breads which I enjoy. I personally would want them to be spiced up. Service was very good. This concept has potential in Cincinnati, but they will need to take the food up a notch to compete. read more

We had a great anniversary dinner at Seasons 52. We had been to one of these in Orlando about eight years ago so I was very excited to see one of these in Cincinnati for a quick weekend away. We made a reservation online which was extremely easy and told them it was our anniversary. They offered us a champagne toast to celebrate and the chef also brought us a tasting spoon of cucumber and tomato with balsamic to try since it was our first time! We did not order any appetizers but I do remember the flatbreads being good. For our entrees we had the New York strip steak and the shrimp and grits. Both entrees were amazing and very fresh. The dessert is the best part...they bring out all of the choices of small desserts and they give you the one you pick right then and there. I chose the creme brûlée and my husband had the peanut butter chocolate. Both were awesome and just the right amount of dessert! We win be back the next time we are in Cincinnati. Thanks for an awesome experience Seasons 52! read more

Great food, great company! Our server (Angelo) was wonderful and very attentive. He made sure everything came out as we expected and that we were enjoying our meals. We ordered the filet mignon and sesame crusted swordfish - both were excellent! We also ordered the lobster flatbread, which was fine but next time I would choose to order something else. The butternut squash soup and chili were great! Overall, would defunct leg recommend Seasons 52 for a cozy meal or special occasion. Complimentary valet parking, too. read more

Love this restaurant! Seasonal and delicious. It's nice to know all the meals are under 500 calories. I ordered the sesame crusted tuna and it was perfect. We also tried the lobster flatbread that was a bit small but delicious anyway. I would definitely come here for a girls night out or happy hour. read more

I'm going Five Stars because there was not a single miss to my experience. Came here last week with family and had a wonderful meal starting with flatbread and shishito peppers for appetizers. I had the Branzino white fish and other had rack of lamb and trout. I asked for no starch and was easily accommodated with extra veggies. My son and his pal ate every bite and both loved their meals, same with Rack of Lamb: perfectly done and beautifully presented. Of course we had desserts and coffee with everyone trying and tasting around. And through our dining experience we had a very fine waitperson who was just the right amount of helpful, available and pleasant. Solid knowledge and guidance and always nearby without being overbearing. I do like Seasons 52 for the portioning and the calorie counts. They had nice local, fresh sides and a great seasonal specials menu. The atmosphere is warm, hip and relaxed with a nice mix of ages and types of diners, young/old, hip/square and there was even a guy at the piano bar that did a nice job. We will be back and that's the best recommendation I can give. read more

One of our go to places great quality food. I don't like chain restaurants but we love seasons 52

I loved the vibes at seasons 52 and their food was pretty good. The mushroom flatbread is delicious! My roommate and I are gnocchi lovers, so we ordered the winter gnocchi dish--both of us weren't fans. There were way too many flavor profiles and too many seeds/nuts in it, completely ruining the whole point of gnocchi--texture! I don't want a soft, well made gnocchi ruined by lots of different crunch. The dessert though, more than made up for it. Little shooters of dessert allow you to pick several and enjoy many flavors. My roommate and I each got three! Loved every single one. Will definitely go again! read more

This is a great date-night spot. That's said, with an app(hummus and flatbread),salad, 2 main courses( veg sampler and goat cheese ravioli) 2 rounds of Martinis, and 2 little desserts, we paid over $100. We are vegetarian, so its not like there was prime rib involved. We were there Valentine's weekend, unfortunately because that is where my husband's birthday falls. It was packed, but our service was exceptional and they even took our picture and and printed it out for us. It was a lovely gesture. All in all, the food and service was great, but we'll be skipping the spendy Martinis next time. read more

My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday and it was very romantic. The food was great and because it was my birthday, the sous-chef came out and gave us this small creation of his before our meals came out. My family and I had a great meal and great experience. The only negative is they brought out my salad when we just started to enjoy our apps.. My son had the salmon with a side of scallops. Love them both. My wife and I had the seasonal Nantucket Bay scallops with ravioli which were unbelievable. We also enjoyed the mushrooms with crab app but weren't too happy with the shrimp and bread app.. That app wasn't up to par for the money and taste. Had the Caesar with Kale which was really really good. Service over all was very good, just slow it down a bit. Eaten here many times and will be back. read more

Went for a late dinner the other night to Seasons 52 and have been once before with a big group. My first group experience was very exciting and the server was very accommodating. I ordered the branzino and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Their seasonal menus are very fitting and appropriate for what your tastebuds are seeking this time of year. For example, right now there are a lot of pumpkin, squash and other harvest and stone fruit varieties on the menu. My experience the other night was not as exciting as the first unfortunately. The server took too long to bring our wine out and did not give us just a taste to see if we liked it or not. She just dropped it off and left. After ordering our food we got to experience the piano entertainment in the bar area. The atmosphere is nice and quiet for a date or a small group on a weeknight. When our food arrived it was brought out by another server and our server came back around 5 minutes later and asked if everything was alright and I told her that I was supposed to receive a salad. She said, "Oh did you?" Yes. I believe I am correct on this one. She left and came back quickly with the salad and said, "It was sitting up there and I am not sure why they didn't bring it out." First, please don't tell me that my food was "sitting" somewhere and was forgotten. Second, it was not a busy night, please take care of your tables whether they are just ordered apps and drinks or 4 courses. Every customer counts and Yelp is a good marketing tool for future visitors. That all being said, again the atmosphere was nice, the servers were friendly, the meal was appropriately priced and we will definitely go back. read more

Seasons 52 has so many delicious choices on their seasonal menu. It is an upbeat, sophisticated and charming restaurant, and they aim to please! Ask for Cindy to be your server and you won't be disappointed. She is warm, friendly and quite knowledgable about all of the dishes. Our favorite soup is the potato and leek, garnished with bits of bacon and slivers of green onion. Rich and tasty, it is a great way to start a meal. Their flatbreads are crisp and flavorful, and their shrimp and grits is low in calories, but huge in taste. And, last but not least, are their "mini indulgences", 6-7 small portions of different desserts, which are presented on a lovely plate, and each one is explained in detail. Quite the way to end a magnificent meal at a truly impressive restaurant! read more

Fantastic Happy Hour Menu! Stopped by on a Thursday late afternoon with a friend to get a quick bite before heading to a concert. Seasons 52 definately gets 5 stars for ambience: the outside is neatly kept (with valet parking), you're imediately greeted when you walk in, the dining area is dimly lit and cozy, the patio is sleek with shaded areas. We had a hard time deciding on what to eat as the menu had many amazing choices, the server was really helpful in providing suggestions. An added plus to Seasons 52 is changing menu utilizing fresh seasonal ingredients!!! What I ordered: To drink: Santa Julia Pinot Grigio ($6) To eat: Kona-crusted Lollipop Lamb Chops ($5) Grilled Chicken Yakitori Skewers ($5) Warm Harvest Mushrooms & Arugula ($8.50) not off the happy hour menu, but I needed some greens. S'more dessert ($3) which I didn't need, but it was the perfect size (small) and I can't say no to choclate! Would love to go back for dinner as the menu looked amazing! read more

If you are looking for a healthier take on dining out this is the place! I started with the all natural pepperoni flatbread which was such a great appetizer to share with the table. I then followed up with grilled boneless rainbow trout which was great. I happen to fly fish for rainbow trout on the Cumberland River, so this fish was such a great take on how I normally cook it. After that we ended with chocolate brownie which was a sugar overload! Let's just say I left a happy camper and slept very well that night! read more
