I've been here a few times for work events (happy hour with appetizers and desserts) and had a generally good experience. Unfortunately my latest visit was a disappointment. We had a party of fourteen which I recognize is large and might be part of the reason for the bad review. We had a single waitress servicing our table and many others in the room. Our drinks took a long time to come, nearly fifteen minutes, and we had no water at the table while we waited. We had to individually request water once our waitress finally came around with our drink orders. I got the pear and burrata salad which was to die for - so good and the perfect blend of savory and sweet! However, I ordered the short rib for my entrée and it was COLD. It was also not very tender or flavorful and I ended up eating very little of it. I should have sent it back but we had all waited a long time for our food so I didn't want to make a big deal of it. Dessert was good, I love that they have the small dessert cups so you can order one without feeling guilty. My husband ordered the sea scallops and almost immediately got sick so we're pretty sure it was food poisoning. Overall it was not a good experience between the slow service, cold food, and food-borne illness I was not impressed. I hope they can improve because I like their seasonally fresh concept and ambiance overall. read more

Updating my review from a few years ago. I love this place! Service is amazing. Happy Hour specials are fabulous. Brunch/Lunch is delicious. I highly recommend checking out Happy Hour!!! read more

Had a reservation set for August 1st at 7p. Walked in the door with my fiancé at exactly 7p on the dot and was met with what I might describe as a sort of polite indifference. Not rude, not warm and approachable...just meh. Okay, not a huge deal at this point. We were seated at our table and our waitress was with us relatively quickly and was polite and helpful. Ordered a couple drinks (Old Fashioned for myself and a Pomegranate Margarita for her). Both drinks were also a bit subpar. Reordered a Long Island and was much happier. Appetizer was a margherita style Flatbread which was excellent and the best part of the evening. Main entree for myself was an 8 oz fillet (cooked to medium) with apparently mashed potatoes and gravy and asparagus (~$35). The steak was subpar in every way. No seasoning of any kind from what I could tell and was just barely cooked to temperature, which also meant almost zero char at all. Asparagus was as bland as could be. Not a speck of salt or pepper or anything hinting at seasoning to be seen. Potatoes were serviceable. My fiancé's meal was equally disappointing. Being vegan she had a type of grilled gnocci dish with a side of asparagus and was equally disappointed at the lack of any flavor. Add on two little desert shooters and it rang up to $105 for the two of us ($130 after tip). I won't be back again. Given the price level the food should've been much more appetizing. I didn't expect a Michelin star experience, by any means, but I'm a generally average cook and I could've done far better in my own kitchen without much effort. It's called salt, pepper, butter, and rosemary. Side note, the food took the better part of 45 minutes to get to the table after ordering. read more

This place puts me in kind of a tough spot. I really have nothing negative to say about the place. The atmosphere is excellent, the food is good. The stuffed mushrooms were terrific and the lamb shank was delicious. The service was acceptable. You'll need to make reservations on a weekend night. The problem is the price point. It's smack in the middle of a Red Lobster, Maggianos or Longhorn and a Capitol Grille, Jeff Ruby or Ruth's Chris's. I'd have a hard time deciding whether to eat here and have it be nice or spending more next door at Capitol Grille and having it be awesome. I guess for more than two people, the price difference grows and makes the decision easier. read more

Celebrated BIRTHDAY with their New Spring $29. Three Course Menu. OUTSTANDING! I ordered the Spinach & Strawberry salad followed by the Perfectly Prepared MEDIUM 6 Oz Filet (Mashed Potatoes & Asparagus inc), and finished with the PERFECT SIZE mini dessert. Totally Satisfying the portion (NOT smaller than Ala Cart) & # of courses. My friend ordered a bottle of Italian Zin (Primitivo) which was the Just right choice for the beef. When our server found out we were celebrating MY Birthday, Candles & Make a Wish came with dessert! Oh, and a COMPLIMENTARY glass of Champaign! How Nice & THOUGHTFUL. Oh, I alway sit in a BOOTH in the Bar. FoodieQ read more

I love Seaons 52! Ever since Capitol Grill opened up next door, it's been super hard to find a parking spot, but I guarantee that once you find your way inside, it's worth it! The atmosphere is really nice, although the times I've been seated by the bar area, the live music has been a bit overwhelming. The drink selection is phenomenal with an extensive wine and cocktail menu. The server will automatically pour a tasting of each wine, even if you order by the glass, which is nice. Service is always strong with friendly knowledgable waitstaff. The menu is extensive, with every item being under 475 calories. As you can imagine, the portion sizes are smaller than most restaurants, but still very filling. Be warned, that the prices don't reflect the smaller portions so if your philosophy on restaurant value is correlated to how much is on your plate, you will be disappointed. My favorite menu item is the cedar plank salmon, with the key lime pie for dessert. The desserts are served in shot glasses which makes me feel (slightly) less guilty for indulging! read more

Went to Seasons 52 to meet some friends for dinner. This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was very good and moderately priced. The atmosphere was pleasant, a piano player/singer played the whole time we were there. The service was exceptional. Overall a very good experience. I definitely plan to return. read more

Great happy hour at the bar with good specials and live music. Nice atmosphere for dinner. We went for brunch with a group once and had horribly slow service and it was far too pricey compared to other places in the area; we'll stick to happy hour/dinner hours. read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. The food will fill you up; but you won't feel full. You will pass the 500 calorie limit they brag about because the desert shots are great, and there is no way of you can be satisfied with ONLY one. The drink prices aren't too bad. A crown on the rocks was $13, and I believe they gave me a double. read more

The food is excellent. They have a good happy hour and a large menu. We generally sit at the bar and the handful of times we've been there the service has been horrible. We've waited a long time to even be greeted then it seems like the bartenders are most interested with getting server drinks out. read more

I love this place!!! We just ate here in Cincinnati and I want to petition the restaurant to put one in Columbus.

Food is consistently good, nice atmosphere. I like that the calories are listed on each entree and the menu changes seasonally.

This restaurant was out of this world! It is very appealing due to the art and aesthetic. The portions were perfect size not to much and not to little! The desserts were so cute and delicious! My overall experience here was amazing! Our server Kate was phenomenal! Ask for her by name! read more

The state of Ohio has mandated wearing masks when inside businesses such as restaurants. If you don't have a mask, the business is required to offer one. I observed a full party of 4 waltz in with no masks and be treated like royalty...but were not asked to mask up or offered a mask. This party stood in front of the reception desk from 5-10 minutes with guests and staff moving around and past them in close proximity (much less than 6 feet). During this same time I observed a minimum of 3 other guests do basically the same with the same non-response from staff. I did speak with the manager on duty about the mandate and lack of effort/response from the restaurant to follow the mandate (despite multiple signs stating the mandate and policy). The excuse was "things had gotten kinda crazy"! Seriously??? I wear a mask to protect others and be respectful. COVID doesn't discriminate and businesses have a responsibility to protect their customers. This business is not following this fundamental business etiquette. While I am not from the area, I will be making multiple trips in the coming years. However, as long as COVID is an issue, I will look for other establishments to frequent that follow appropriate protocols. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is the food was reasonably food. If you are concerned with COVID and proper following of protocols to protect yourself and others, I suggest finding another restaurant. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Mediocre Food... Went to Seasons 52 tonight for the first time and it's definitely on my OTO (One Time Only) LIST. Met my friend at the bar and waited 20 minutes before the bartender acknowledged us. (Bartender was a tall guy with a beard.). We ordered wine, which he did promptly serve, but we were then ignored for so long that we had to flag a waitress to take our dinner order. Our food arrived quickly but it was nothing notable. Predictable flavor and lack of creativity. (I had the cedar plank salmon and my friend had the trout.). At the end of our meal, the bartender said that "he heard we had some trouble ordering" and that he had "taken a round off our check." Turned our he had only taken off one glass of wine but an apology and acknowledgement would have been better. Needless to say, I won't go back. Cincinnati has far too many fabulous restaurants to waste my time and money at Seasons 52. read more

My fiance and I love having date nights here. The food is always fresh and tasty! The staff does a good job keeping your needs met and my wine glass is never empty. I always have a Caesar salad (each time so refreshing and the lettuce so crisp) as well as the salmon, which is tender and tasteful. My fiance tries something new every time and he hasn't been disappointed yet. I do splurge sometimes and have a dessert along with my meal and each indulgence is worth the calories! This is one of our favorite places to have dinner at and we enjoy the environment. Although it is a chain restaurant, you never would've guessed by the service and quality they have to offer. read more

Wow! Amazing food. We tried out this place last weekend finally. We had Duck Wings, Stuffed Quail, Australian Lamb Shank and couple of beers. Everything was so perfectly cooked. The meat was so tender and delicious. The quality of the ingredients is just amazing. My favorite was stuffed quail. Although it felt like we ordered lot of food, the food wasn't heavy. The portion was just perfect. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. read more

I went to Seasons 52 for the first time for my college graduation celebration with my family and a few close friends. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Upon being seated our waiter came over and introduced himself and the restaurant. He knew it was a graduation celebration so he congratulated me. We ordered a bottle of wine and some flatbreads. Both were amazing! Shortly after, a manager brought over an appetizer that was on the house. It too was fantastic. We then ordered our entree's. I got a seasonal salmon dish with veggies, it was cooked to perfection and was a perfect serving size. We finished our entrees and thought about ordering desert when our waiter came out with a huge "celebration tower" of an assortment of their signature shot glass size desserts. It was on the house as well and was so over the top amazing. While we enjoyed our many little desserts, our waiter appeared with a bottle of champagne and glasses for everyone. It was FREE too! They made my celebration more than I could have imagined. He let us enjoy the post dinner drinks and then came back and took a photo of my whole group and gave it to me in an adorable Seasons 52 frame. This place treated my group like royalty. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The restaurant was packed that night but we felt like we were the only party there. The waiter was kind, funny, and thoughtful. The managers said hello and congratulated me. I will definitely be going back and it will be my "go-to" place for celebrations such as this. FANTASTIC! read more

Given how popular this place is for its market segment, I was figuring it would be pretty darn good....problem was it was bland and had very boring flavors. The potato wedges were soggy, the burger was incredibly bland and while I enjoyed the fact the calorie count was incredibly low...the place was kinda like a re-dressed Whole Foods :/. Our waitress was very good at her job though and the location is great. If you are a bored middle-aged housewife who's 'gluten free' all the sudden, this is your place. If you are anyone else, walk 15 meters and arrive at The Capital Grille. read more

I'm with Jessi on this. The food is kind of blah and skimpy. For instance, there was no lobster flavor on the "signature" lobster flatbread and the "roasted" red peppers were clearly not roasted. Scallops were not super-fresh. The cedar planked salmon was spot on. The roasted pork tenderloin was yummy but had that nouveau rosiness to the meat that I personally do not feel at ease with. And I can't help thinking that, for these prices, you should feel full when you leave. I guess there's a reason all the entrees are under 500 calories! read more

I love the concept of this place, the healthy meals, seasonal rotating menus, great wine list, etc., I just didn't actually LOVE the restaurant. I came for date night last Saturday with my boyfriend; he had been to the Seasons in D.C. but it was my first time. We already were expecting the place to be packed, after all, it was the first Saturday night the place was open. We were told that the actual restaurant was totally booked through the rest of the night but we could try to find seats at the bar. Again, I was totally prepared for that, so we weren't put-off. The bar also seemed to be packed but after creepily skulking around the bar a few times, a couple took pity on us and offered us their spots. And that was the end of polite, prompt service for the evening; too bad it came from fellow patrons, not the actual staff. I used to work in the restaurant industry, and I understand how, especially with brand new restaurants, things are not always going to be perfect. However, I DO think it's completely ridiculous that there are at least 4 bartenders (only one of whom was taking care of servers' orders) plus a bar manager and a barback restocking, cleaning, helping etc., and it literally took over 15 minutes for a bartender to acknowledge our presence. I would completely understand if the bartenders all were rushed and looked stressed, but the only bartender who seemed to be struggling was the poor girl who was taking care of servers' orders; that poor girl was drowning and none of her fellow employees seemed inclined to help her. Nor did they seem inclined to take my drink order. By the time one of the waitress moseyed on over, I was extremely thirsty. My boyfriend is the most patient man in the world; even he was a bit miffed. The bartender literally came up to me and said "do you guys want some drinks?" Really? "Nope, just sitting here and taking up space, thanks." I had to ask her for a drinks menu and a food menu. I got a mojito and the bf got a margarita. They were ok, way too sweet though. Mostly, t I was horrified that they did not have Hendricks. I am not a snob about much but I am a complete snob about my Hendricks gin and this place looks like it should have Hendricks. The food was very prompt (in fact, I think our appetizer beat our drinks); we got one of the flatbreads with beef and blue cheese and it was pretty good, definitely different. For my meal I got the scallops with risotto, bf got steak. The scallops are why I am giving the place 3 stars instead of 2. The portions were generous, the food was tasty, especially for under 475 calories. The risotto was.....eh, Kind of bland, nothing too exciting. I definitely thought the food was good, just not as good as I would have hoped. I'm hoping the service improves as time goes on as I felt that was the biggest let-down. That being said, I will probably come back here for a glass of wine and a flatbread once the hype has died down. read more

Not good, not bad, just meh. The place is decorated beautifully and the staff were very nice. However the quality of the food is just not so great and the portions are small. I went with a party of 6 and I got the strip steak. Others got the meatloaf, trout and pork chops. My steak was okay but it didn't appear to be a strip steak. I really don't know what it was. I think it was that rough part of the tenderloin. The meatloaf looked unappetizing but I hate meat loaf. The fish was very thin and looked over cooked. Pork chops were tough. You get no bread and the desserts are in these little cups and they were not good. You would think as nice as it is there there would be some great desserts but no. I can cook much better at home to be honest. I don't plan on going back. read more

I will start off by saying that I am generally unimpressed by chain restaurants because they often have a very generic feel and taste to them. I had little interest in trying this restaurant because of that but was pulled in by a mailing offering $20 off of $50 or more. The atmosphere isn't bad but it was pretty dark, a little too heavy on the mood lighting in my opinion. The fireplace by the entrance was nice since it was cold outside and it warmed me up immediately upon entering. Service was pleasant and prompt. Looking over the menu showed some very good sounding menu items and I started to think that perhaps I had misjudged the restaurant. We started with a flatbread and soup. The flatbread was pretty good. It was very thin and crisp and topped with crabmeat. The soup was a butternut squash with shiitake mushrooms and I normally love butternut squash soup but something about this soup was off. The shiitakes used were dried and did not appear to have been reconstituted at all, simply just placed on top of the soup which was disappointing. The entrees we ordered were swordfish and quail. The swordfish was served with a red sauce that was bland and tasted like a generic grocery store red pasta sauce but it still managed to drown out any other flavors in the dish causing the whole dish to be unexciting. The sauce didn't complement the fish at all, instead it smothered it causing it to be bland. Even the capers in the sauce were barely noticeable. The quail was probably the best dish comprised of three quail served with mushroom risotto stuffing and spinach with bacon. The quail itself was cooked well and the risotto was delicious with a nice earthy flavor. We also enjoyed a Macedonian wine with dinner and it was nice to see a good wine from an area that I hadn't tried before. The reason I rate it two stars instead of three is that since half the food was mediocre it did not match the price that was charged. I can think of multiple restaurants in the city that would serve a very enjoyable meal for a similar price point. If the price was lower then I could see rating it three stars. read more

My fiance and I dined here for the first time...and probably the last..this evening. We made a reservation online and arrived. We were sat and greeted quickly by Brandon. Drinks we brought quickly and we ordered appetizers. Which also came out at a decent pace. This is where things started to go wrong. The short rib flatbread was decent. Not really worth the price but it tasted decent. Fiance got the corn soup which was tasty. Fiance ordered the NY Strip and I ordered the filet mignon. We also got the truffle mac n cheese as well as the corn side dish. We did get 2 of the mini desserts at the beginning of the meal which were divine. I saw the dessert tray being shown at another table and I was intrigued so I asked Brandon if we could see and he obliged. I got the S'more and the peanut butter trifle. Those both were outstanding. The entrees arrived at a decent pace and drinks were refilled at a great pace as well. The real problem starts here. Everything on my plate was horribly under-seasoned. The filet, the yukon gold mash, and the sauteed mushrooms. I tried salting my food but it was just too late. Brandon made one appearance after we were pretty much done with the meal to ask if we wanted boxes. Too late to do anything about replacing the food that just tasted super bland, with something else. The sauteed mushrooms on my plate had ZERO flavor and really appeared to be baked, not sauteed. The snap peas..the same. Bland. The yukon mashed potatoes have obviously been made with a broth of some type as the liquid because theres NO way that there is actual cream or butter in them. The hallmarks of great mashed potatoes. The fiances food was the same way...bland. The corn was the star of the meal. It was very good (it had parm in it so it needed no salt). The mac n cheese was dry as Las Vegas air, bland, and cold. Most of my food remained on my plate and when Brandon came back to ask for boxes, he saw how much food was left and made no effort to ask if anything was wrong. By this point, I was annoyed and still hungry and just wanted to pay and leave. There was no acknowledgement of a birthday at our table even though it was mentioned in the reservation as well as during the initial exchange when we were greeted by Brandon upon being seated. A birthday was acknowledged at the table behind us but not ours. We spent the same here as we would have at a Jeff Ruby establishment (where they certainly know what salt, pepper, and butter are) but Ive never left a JR establishment hungry or annoyed. Im not sure if the lack of seasoning is because of the majority of diners being on the older side or if thats just how they do things here but I doubt we will be coming back to find out. Sad too because the dishes have great potential just horrible execution. While Outback isnt as upper scale as this place, at least they know what salt, pepper, and butter are and they are used in the dishes. read more

A Tale of Two Meals I had two experiences at Seasons 52. One was one of the best meals I have had. The other was maybe the worst service experience I have had. The first meal was on a Saturday evening. We arrived early for our reservations, had drinks at the bar and were called to our table right on time. The cocktails were delicious. I had the grilled scallops which were done to perfection. Many places over cook scallops. Clearly this chef knew what he was doing. My wife had the salmon which was also delicious. Our server was attentive. My only complaint would be the portion sizes are small, especially for the starches (in my case risotto which was also delicious and which so many restaurants get wrong that I'm hesitant to order it). The desserts are tiny, served in a double shot glass. With an average spoon it would be two large bites. They are served with cute little spoons that make it several bites. The prices are what you'd expect for this type of restaurant. Very nice ambience. A lot of stone on the walls, a firepit by the door and lots of beautiful glass artwork around. Entrees are low 20s to low 30s. The desserts are the exception at only $3.00. I'm surprised they don't bundle three for $9 (you're welcome for the tip). The second meal was a completely different experience. We arrived right at the time of our reservation and were told it would be a 10 minute wait. 20 minutes later after checking on our table three times we were finally seated. Our server rushed by our table saying she would be there to take our drink orders "very soon". It was another 15 minutes before a second server helping out came to take our drink orders. That server disappeared to never be seen again. Our server came back, breathless a few minutes later and promised us free drinks. At this point it was an hour after we had arrived and we had not so much as had a glass of water. We would have had a drink in the bar if we had known our table was going to be that late. Several minutes later, still no drinks and still no water. Our server came back. I didn't check my watch, but it had to be close to an hour and a half after our reservations. She promised us free appetizers. In fairness to the restaurant, they had a promotion where they had given out free vouchers for $25 each that had all expired on that evening. I guess everyone waited until the last day to use theirs because the server told us they had a Saturday crowd and were staffed for a Wednesday. I'm going to try to make this review shorter than the meal by skipping some details. I had the short ribs this time. The meat was very good, but not worth the price and no where near as good as the scallops. We had the lobster flatbread as an appetizer which was delicious. We also had the stuffed mushrooms. I was thinking six stuffed mushrooms would be more than enough for the four of us, but these were tiny mushrooms (think mushroom that fit into an escargot serving dish which is what they were served in). My short ribs came with cheese grits which I was looking forward to trying, but there was so little, when I got a bite along with the horseradish sauce that was served over them I actually thought "Oh that's right, there are cheese grits in there." My wife had the scallops which I would get again, if I were ever to back. My friend had the lobster pasta dish which was delicious when she had it the other time we went, but the pasta was dry this time. I'm guessing the kitchen was a wreck. She wanted extra sauce to put over it which took forever to get. It ended up that we spent three hours from the time we arrived until the time we left. We were comped our drinks, appetizers (which we wouldn't have ordered) and desserts. So, financially it wasn't a disaster, but the experience was not what I would expect at those prices. The meals are small. My wife finished her entire meal both times which she hardly ever does at a restaurant. Without the appetizers and dessert I would leave still hungry. The food is delicious. I would need another trip to break the tie on the service, but I probably will not go back. There are better options. read more

I picked up an order during the stay-at-home order. It was my birthday. The scallops were cooked perfectly as was the gnocchi. All of the food and desserts were packed for the drive. The staff was professional, warm and followed all of the distancing rules. I can't say enough about how great the meal was and how special they made it for my birthday. They also have fantastic flatbread and fish tacos. read more

We could not wait for this restaurant to open! This restaurant is now our "weekly" date night restaurant. Good food, good wine, and fantastic service (GINA). Our server was very informative and attentive. We sat in a booth in the bar. We ordered a bottle of Markum Chardonnay, which was delicious along with the stuffed mushrooms and ahi tuna for appetizers. They were really tasty and very good. For our entrees, we both had salads, ahi tuna and salmon, which were nicely portioned and very tasty. It was really funny to see local managers and bartenders in cognito checking out the new competition and they should be worried. We also ran into many people we've meet who are also calling this beautiful restaurant "the new go to place". This restaurant is big competition for restaurants in Rookwood. Kudos to this place for a bringing of wave fresh air and great fare. read more

Oh boy. Where do I begin? We made reservations for my birthday last month. Everything went smoothly in terms of getting our table, seated, and so forth. We had salads that were about average, but I guess for the type of place it is, I expected to get . Unfortunately, that's where the night started to go south. I ordered chicken for my meal, and it was BONE....DRY. Mind you, it was a half chicken portion, which means that there was dark meat involved. It takes a special kind of talent to overcook dark meat to the point that it needs a gulping of motor oil to get it down the hatch. It was just absolutely horrible. My guess is that it sat in a holding oven for too long, but honestly...who knows. We then had dessert, which are in these shooter glasses. I have a nut and chocolate allergy, so my choices were limited. I'm completely fine with that. The problem is that I told the server this multiple times, and he kept suggesting I have one of them that had one (or both) of those ingredients in them. It must have been two or three times that I had to make the comment "umm...that looks like it has chocolate/nuts in it." My wife said her desserts were enjoyable, but the but I had one raspberry-based faux-cannoli one I got stuck with had this gritty texture that is typical when a poor quality that is used in the recipe. Now, this was all disappointing, but the worst part of it all was that halfway through the dinner, I noticed a spider descending down on to my wife's head. It was just larger than the diameter of a quarter. I managed to trap it in my napkin before it actually made it onto my wife. I then handed the napkin to a bus boy and explained what had happened, but he left without saying a word. No apology...no empathy. Just walked away. Thanks Season's 52 for ruining my birthday. The best part of my night was the toast and tea I had at home that night. For all of you people considering a place for (insert anything here), avoid this place at all costs. read more

This a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Everything on the menu is less than 475 calories, and they offer seasonal menus. They use very fresh ingredients, and have an excellent drink selection. For starters, I tried the spinach stuffed mushrooms with crab and shrink and the duck wing lollipops. Both were delicious. I got the caramelized scallops which were cooked perfectly and the lemon risotto was creamy with the right amount of acid. The fish tasted very good too. They offer a great selection of dessert shooters that are rich, and just the right amount of sweet to finish off the meal. I've also gone for happy hour, and they have $5 small plates that are delicious. I ended up getting sea scallops, kona crusted lamb chops, and shrimp scampi skillet, all which were flavorful and satisfying. The flatbreads look delicious as well. Open just 2 weeks, my wife and I tried Seasons 52. For a just opened place, little things can happen. We received our dinner before the appetizers while chatting with the manager! With that said, now for the good news. Go to this place. Great food, superlative service (ask for AL), just an enjoyable place that you will want to come back to over and over again. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. I had the trout entree and my wife had the shrimp, both delicious. We also had the tortilla soup and the chicken skewer app. I enjoyed the chicken but could've passed on the slaw, but I don't like anything with vinegar in it. The desserts were the perfect size to sample and share. We tried the pecan pie, peanut butter chocolate, caramel macchiato and one with a cinnamon cannoli. All were very good, although my wife, whom loves peanut butter and chocolate, found that one a bit on the rich side. My wife also checked out their meeting space and talked with Kelly.. From their Chef's table that can seat twelve to their large room that can handle 80, accommodations were very nice and include in ceiling projector, drop down screen and sound system. Something to think about for the future. read more

Seasons 52 is a solid restaurant with smaller healthier portions. We like to go and get a few of the smaller plates and share. As vegetarians there seems to be a nice selection of choices for us. Last time we had a few appetizers, a salad and shared an entree. We had the Salmon dinner with the smashed potatoes. It all was delicious. The service was ok. We had to wait a bit for our drinks and it seemed like she disappeared towards the end of the meal. It was not a busy night. It was not bad enough to say anything, but we did leave a lower than average tip. The space itself if a nice and classy, though it is a bit dark for my taste. I like lots of light and windows. They are going for a moody, laid back, jazz bar atmosphere and I think they have it, but I like a bit more natural light. They do occasionally have musicians play in the bar. One night we were there and a woman playing the piano was quite good and not too loud. We have been a few times and will continue to check it out. read more

Third visit and the service was off. We had a 5:30 reservation for six. Had to wait a few minutes to be seated. (At 5:30?). Hostess group seemed disorganized. How can they be standing around when guests are standing around? Seems inefficient. Waitress was slow to approach the table, slow getting our drinks, slow to check on us after dinner arrived, slow to refill drinks , slow to get coffee. Usually service is rushed at restaurants at 5:30 to turn the table for the next reservation. We were forgotten. Food was excellent. The fall menu is very good. Mushroom soup served piping hot. Excellent caramelized Scallops. Salmon, trout and sea bass were also ordered and everyone was very pleased with their dinner. PS: Always valet--complimentary plus your tip. Parking is a nightmare. read more

Owned by the same restaurant group as Red Lobster... And you can tell. While there are no butter soaked biscuits, there IS mediocre seafood. The flatbread appetizer tasted like it was directly from the box and previously frozen. The good news, the steak was good and the service was great. There was also a good wine list. But don't be fooled by this pig in lipstick. There are MANY other great places to eat in Cincinnati. read more

Bar service is zero. Unless you are here every weekend forget it. Only the regulars get priority. Service is slow. They will spend 10 min. talking to some one filling a water glass while a person waits 15 min. for a third $ 12 wine. Should have purchased a bottle. Will never be back. And we are at Rookwood every month. read more

Went to Seasons 52 a couple of days ago for dinner. We picked the spot due to yelp's suggestion that this place has a great gluten free menu. Yelp was right. They had an extensive gluten free menu and many things on their regular menu can be made gluten free as well. I didn't order from the GF menu but a friend did and she was so excited. She had a steak. I had a trout with potatoes and carrots. It was a light dish but full of flavor. I also ordered a couple of drinks from their extensive cocktail menu. Prairie mule which was very similar to Moscow mule and bourbon drink that had real blackberries and raspberries. Both were delicious! The prices are reasonable for me but it would definitely not be my regular go to spot. Most meals are over $20 a plate and cocktails are in the $10 range. The ambiance at Seasons 52 is very romantic, darker with soft lights. The place felt more like a date night spot and less like a wednesday night girls happy hour which is what we were doing. read more

Everyone do yourselves a favor and skip eating at Seasons 52. Hosts were rude (all but ran my husband over when he was standing up when I went to the ladies room) service was mediocre at best (poor communication and had to ask multiple times for almost everything) the food runner handed my son a screaming hot plate she called 'slightly warm' that burned his hand, bathrooms were not clean, and had to track someone down to ask for an itemized receipt. Overrated for the price and extremely disappointed for our family's holiday dinner experience. I would have said this to a manager in person, but I couldn't find one anywhere. Not worth your time or money! read more
