I am always impressed with the food from Seasons 52 & even more impressed with the service from Shiela, our waitress and her support staff went out of their way to make our out of town guests and visit to Cincinnati exceptional. Been going here since they opened. Most of the time it's pretty good. Usually consistent as with other franchises. For the past year or so, the quality of both the food and the service has been trending downward. Yesterday I had lunch with a friend. The waiter should reconsider his decision to be in the hospitality business. No personality, at all. Never smiled, and deadpan throughout. The food was also disappointing. The crab cake was tepid, but edible. The lobster/avocado flatbread should come with a magnifying glass so you can locate the lobster. It tasted like any other of their flatbreads. Rather bland. The most disappointing was my Maui Tuna Crunch salad. If I didn't know better, it looked and tasted like it was from the previous day. The greens used to be piled high, surrounded by some very good tuna and a nice crunch. Nope- I was served a plate of wilted greens, limp tuna, and the whole thing swimming in toasted sesame dressing. To add insult to my injured eyes and taste buds, it must have been under a heat lamp in the kitchen. The whole thing had collapsed on my plate and given up its spirit. Rest in peace. read more

Absolutely stellar from start to finish, great service, wonderful atmosphere and delicious dinning experience. My wife had the filet cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly! Melt in your mouth. I had the lamb and it was simply one of the best lamb dishes I've ever had. Mashed perfection, asparagus was excellent. Drinks were served quickly with a smile. Our waiter Orion was wonderful. One of the managing owners came by several times and was also friendly and attentive. Now.....the tiny deserts!!! Oh my were they perfection. Presentation was on point and they were absolutely just right. Oh....did I mention the price? Easily stands right with the top tier of restaurants in the area but for a price point that is less than you might think. Awesome experience! We will be back! read more

Another 10/10 experience at Seasons 52. I love their seasonal menu, offering a variety of flavors throughout the year. Previously I hadn't tried any of the items pictured below and each one was absolutely fantastic! All of the ingredients complimented one another and the portions were filling. The service was amazing our waitress took great care of us. I was disappointed that the desserts I got to go were of smaller size than their normal portions, but outside of that everything was amazing. It was lovely to enjoy some fresh air since the patio area and adjoining dining area were open. read more

We came to Seasons 52 for Thanksgiving lunch. We had a 1:00 pm reservation. We arrived a little before 1; the place was packed! We were quickly seated and waited for our third. Once we were all in our places with bright shiny faces, we all ordered the thanksgiving special meal. It included just about everything you can imagine being served at Thanksgiving. Three pieces of white meat turkey, which was pretty tender. I small pile of dark meat pieces. Mashed potatoes and gravy, with the gravy covering the turkey and the potatoes. There was dressing, sweet potato casserole (?), green beans and cranberry sauce. It was a LOT of tasty food. Nothing was extraordinary, but it was all good. Oh, we ordered and I swear to goodness the food arrived moments later. I am sure they were moving a lot of these plates and had a process for quick turnaround, but I had to wonder if our plates had been sitting for a while. I suppose if they were it wasn't for long. Nothing was cold or congealed. It seems like their process was working. The meal came with a mini cake type thing in a jar. There were lots of options. Mark and I opted for the special pumpkin with ginger and Jen had s'mores chocolate. The pumpkin one was absolutely delicious. Jen let us try the chocolate one and let's just say I was very glad I opted for pumpkin. When the bill arrived the desserts were added on separately. I mentioned they should be included to our server, who said he would check. Now... it seems unlikely we were his first customers of the day and it seems odd that he would have the desserts added separately. He did check; I saw him. I also saw the person he was checking with shake her head 'yes'. He reran the checks without the desserts. I will say it was nice to have a traditional thanksgiving meal without the traditional thanksgiving fuss. Because the food was average at best and because we were initially charged for desserts that were supposed to be included in the price, this experience comes in with a solid three stars. read more

Seasons 52 is easy to find, just off I-71. Parking is plentiful. Today I had a very fresh salad of field greens with "toy box" tomatoes and a balsamic vinaigrette. The Pesto chicken and fresh mozzarella, and Roasted tomatoes flatbreads were an amazing appetizer. The Cedar planked-roasted salmon with dill-mustard sauce was beyond any expectation. We were early, but that seated us promptly. The flat breads were good to start. I order the Pork Chop & Potato Skillet. I think they forgot my Potato Skillet, as it arrived after everyone had eaten. The pork chop was delicious. My wife thought the crab cake was good. My son was disappointed with the Gnocchi that he gave it to his wife (who wasn't too disappointed with it). My grandson liked his braised chicken. I skipped dessert, but everyone else enjoyed theirs. My wife thought it was a good birthday. My wife wanted the catch of the day, but they were out. She then asked for the Rainbow Trout, and they were out of that also. I guess going here for dinner on a Sunday we should expect them not to have a full menu. read more

Ordered the white wine braised chicken. Chef either forgot to braise the grilled chicken breast OR the braising liquid evaporated. Chicken breast was very very tough and brittle. First visit to a Seasons52. Could not complain because of group time constraints. Shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms were good but really only had shrimp pieces with crab flavored sauce. Mushroom risotto had a smokey grill flavor and good mouthfeel. Short on wild mushroom flavor for my liking . A little disappointed in the food and service ‍ we had reservations and got seated in the bar area and had to track down our waiter multiple times ... to order, to get drinks, to get a dessert menu, to get our bill. The food in general was blah. Nothing interesting and definitely overpriced for the quality. The drinks were also small and overpriced. We are new to the area and went to try the mini desserts we saw online and were thoroughly disappointed. Most were either store bought or mostly whipped cream. Visited yesterday for my nieces 17th birthday. After waiting a while with the reservation, they walked us through the restaurant to the back, to a table that wasn't there. They then walked us back to the front of the restaurant and we waited for a table and was sat at a booth. They were really busy so the wait time to order did not bother us. The server Chris was polite and professional, although he was busy. I could tell he did his best and he did a good job. I ordered the salmon salad, my niece had the chicken salad, my daughter ordered a flatbread, and we had an artichoke appetizer. The salmon for my salad came out raw on the inside. I let the server know I needed it to be fully cooked. About 15 minutes later, a chef dressed man came to the table with a burnt piece of salmon. It was as if he was offended that the fish came back and was teaching me a lesson about how salmon should and shouldn't be prepared. Instead of having him walk the burnt piece of salmon back to the kitchen, which I should have done, I allowed him to place it on the table. I thought sending it back again might bring embarrassment to my daughter and niece. I didn't even complain to Chris, just wrapped the burnt salmon in a napkin. After an evening of reflection, I'm disappointed in myself for not sending it back and asking for the manager. The embarrassment should be with the chef that walked a piece of burnt salmon from the kitchen to the table to a paying guest, customer. At that point, I decided all I could do at this point is share my negative experience and NEVER return. Terrible action by the "chef". You should be embarrassed! read more

The flatbreads were delicious, the wine selection and entree were okay, but the desserts - the much anticipated, and hyped desserts, were ... lacking. Our reservations were at 7:00. The line for valet parking was about 20-30 minute wait. It was a war trying to get in and out of the parking lot. We waited about 30 mins to get seated. Once we got seated it took 15 minutes to get our drink order, 20 minutes to get our drinks once we ordered. The waiter brought our drinks and one of the cups had lipstick on the cup from a previous customer. We finally got to order after 30 minutes and roughly around 30 mins to get food. The food was good. The green beans were cold but great flavor. I was worried about the chicken since first couple of bites were dry. They have a great concept to get you to buy deserts with bringing out desert display. It got all of us to buy one. Our waiter was running and busy, super friendly and very sweet. The atmosphere was relaxing and warm. If you have a sweet pallet, you will enjoy the food. Would I go back? I'm good for a once time visit. I'm very easy going and not hard to please, but the waiting for drinks and dirty cup is what really done it for me. read more

KUDOS to the chef tonite (3/1/26) on the scrumptious sea bass. It could not have been better - perfectly prepared; moist, tender & evenly cooked with a lovely crust, and a sauce to die for!! We had dinner for 4 on busy Saturday night at Seasons 52. It was so busy that the valet service which is shared with Capital Grill was overwhelmed. Even though the entrance was packed with people waiting for tables, we were, miraculously seated immediately at our reservation time. Service was prompt and the restaurant was very attractively outfitted. Other than the avocado toast appetizer, however, the entrees were disappointing. Our guests didn't complain, but also didn't finish their meals. The mini cheesecake shot glass desserts were pretty good. Maybe a weekday would be a better time to go. read more

Dined on a weekend evening with a party of four (we had reservations, which I would highly recommend). This was the first time at this restaurant, and we really enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. The menu and wine list are extensive. Food quality was excellent, and cocktails were also very good. Prices are as you'd expect for an upscale restaurant in Hyde Park. The only major downside was parking, which is a nightmare on the weekend unless you use the valet service. We ordered 2 flat breads, corn and bacon and the tomato mozzarella one. While they were very tasty and baked well, the flavor was a little lacking. The crab cake was a hit, comes as 1 cake. And the fillet mignon was seasoned well though a little dry. Apparently the scallops were also a hit. The dessert options were the cherry on top, as they're a big number of flavors and they're the perfect small size to satisfy a sweet craving without it being overwhelming. Well, my wife and I were in the area, we decided to make the track to this SEASONS 52. This is the first visit we've had at Seasons and over a year and a half. Interesting that most of the menu items were the same with minor changes. We decided to sit at the bar. Walter and Eric tag teamed us through our stay doing a marvelous job. After perusing the menus, my wife and I decided on our adult beverages and ordered the meatball starter. Was surprised there was no bread served with the meatballs, one of the changes? Our beverages were absolutely delicious! I thought it interesting that the cucumber basil smash was not, just skewered and served as a side in the glass. For our main course we decided to split a Caesar salad as well as the pepperoni flatbread. All the items came out relatively quick with pleasant service. The restaurant overall was extremely well kept and tidy. My wife said the ladies room was clean and tidy as well. read more

Food was great, there were 3 couples, we each ordered drinks, a salad and split a flatbread between each couple. They screwed up drink orders, brought 7 salad for 6 people and not the right salads, the server tried to argue about it. Flatbreads they got right, except they brought them at the same time as the salads, then the checks came. All 3 checks were wrong! It took 3 tries to get them right, 2 were overcharged for extra drinks we never ordered, mine was actually undercharged, but still took 3 tries to correct it. No apologies, no nothing but a poor execution of an otherwise good meal. read more

We had a late lunch at Seasons 52, in part to help us determine whether this would be a good restaurant to take a very elderly (99-year-old) relative to for their birthday. Because this restaurant allows you to order in the early afternoon from the lunch menu as well as the dinner menu we chose items from the two. One of us had the crabcake sandwich, and the lobster bisque. We split a side Caesar salad. The other was going to order the trout, but there was none of this entrée left. As a result they ordered the Chilean sea bass. We also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of grilled Brussels sprouts. The Chilean sea bass was fantastic. It was perfectly cooked, and came on a bed of white and wild rice mixed with mushrooms. There were also some snow peas under the fish and some slivered scallions on top. The lobster bisque did not taste very much of lobster. As others have noted it did have corn kernels in it, which was unusual. The crab came with large chunks in the crab cake sandwich. It tasted of salt and crab and was very good. The sandwich was in a soft bun with sesame seeds sprinkled on it. It came with a side salad which we did not realize when we ordered the Caesar salad. However the two salads were quite different so we were not disappointed. We each also ordered a margarita. The bartender seemed to know a good deal about his products, including which tequilas he had and which ones he didn't have. We told him that we did not want a sweet margarita and he made an excellent drink for us. There were a few, odd things about the meal. The macaroni and cheese was massively under salted. There was a salt shaker on the table, but no salt came out of it. When one unscrewed the top, one realized that the salt had absorbed a lot of moisture, such as what usually happens in the South but not in Cincinnati, and therefore salt was caked in the saltshaker. With the addition of the salt, we ate most of the macaroni and cheese. The roasted Brussels sprouts were quite black in places, as if burned, not grilled or roasted. We probably ate 1/3 of this dish. Seasons 52 has a lot of different fish entrées on their menu. For folks who avoid red meat this is a great place to go that has many choices. There are some meats on the menu, however, including lamb, pork, and sirloin steak. There is also at least one vegetarian entrée, Lentil Bolognese, on the menu. We did not look at the dessert menu. we ate in the side of the restaurant near the bar, which had carpet on the floor and acoustical tiles in the ceiling. As a result it was fairly quiet. The main section of the restaurant has a wooden ceiling, that is very high, perhaps 15 feet. I do not know how quiet this would be with a large party or at a busier time of day. The noise level of the restaurant was wonderful at 2 PM. How would it be at 730 or 8 PM? This was one of the reasons we wanted to see what the inside of the restaurant was like during a meal. This was a good experience. We don't know if we will take our relative here for their birthday party. We have a few other places to consider. Seasons 52 is not out of the running, but we have not made a decision yet. read more

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in Cincinnati! First went with a girlfriend for lunch, and later with another friend for dinner. Both time we sat at the bar, which is beautiful and comfortable. Service was outstanding. My girlfriend opted for a salad and asked if they could top it with fish, and did they ever. And broiled, not fried. Actually, she suggested this place because they have many items under 1000 calories. I fell in love with their mushroom soup and the shrimp stuffed mushrooms. So I'm seem to be stuck there for awhile, but menu changes with seasons. Looking forward to many more trips here. Parking is somewhat limited, but they do valet for a tip. My tip was "buy low, sell high" lol. Just kidding. Never stiff your personnel. They work hard for your money. read more
