In the past, I've been loyal to one local chain boutique nail salon, but after a bad experience the last time, I was ready to branch out and try someplace new. Enter Nail Yeah! I had the best experience. I can truly say this is where I'll be coming now. I was impressed with not only the quality of the manicure and the cleanliness of the studio, but also the conversation with my nail tech Paulina and owner Crystal and the small, intimate feeling of the salon. I wasn't elbow to elbow with other clients or squeezing around work stations! Further, I felt super safe in regards to COVID precautions being taken by the salon with everybody wearing masks, receiving a temperature check at the door, being asked to wash my hands upon entrance, and Paulina wearing gloves and changing out paper towels and towels on her work station throughout my manicure. Finally, I'm really impressed with the social media presence of Nail Yeah!. I love that Crystal uses her business and her platform to amplify important causes. I love that I feel not only safe, but welcome as a gay client. I love that their values align with mine and I know I'm supporting good people and good values when I come to Nail Yeah!

I liked the short pinkish color I settled on. There want many options but I am very satisfied with this color. I purchased short press ons that included the entire kit. I followed the directions. I installed right before bed (so that my nails could set without any use after install). At least three didn't even hold up for a full 24 hours. The application process was a bit difficult compared to other press ons (like Kiss).

I waited about 15 minutes before they were ready for me. The pedicure itself is standard to most others you would get. Where they stand out and charge a bit more for is the massage you get afterwards. You have to leave your pedicure chair and go into a different part of the salon where you sit in a recliner to receive your 20 minute foot and leg massage. I did enjoy this portion of the service. I just wish they could have also finished the polish there also, but instead, you have to the go back up front to the pedicure chair for the polish. The place is clean and well staffed. I'm not sure it would be my normal go-to place, but I would go back and would recommend.

She didn't put any alcohol on my heel. She put it on my toes before she did the nail polish. The fact that this woman did not even care to hear what I had to say and immediately started aggressively denying anything happening at all is incredibly frustrating and, if anything, just proves that she knows she messed up. At the end of our phone call, I let her know that I was trying to call so that the business had an opportunity to fix this accident, but that since she was not working with me in the slightest, I would be leaving had bad review online.
