It was wet without being too messy, I really enjoyed the garlic aioli, pepper jack cheese, toasted bun, and fluffy egg. Overall, I can see why people talk about this place so much. Parking is tricky over here: there's a few street spots outside their front door, otherwise the (often busy) parking lot on the other side of the building is an option, and then walk around the building to get to the entrance. They've got some great affordable breakfast sandwiches here, and I like that they have some specialty ones to pick from. I LOVE that they have a gluten free bun option! Extra charge, but so nice to have. Most bfast sandwich spots don't offer that. I've had a few I love, and a few I was so/so on. I like that their ham and bacon is chopped/crumbled, and their eggs are perfect. My second time, my arugula was soggy. My biggest hangup and why it's not a 5-star for me but I'll continue to go: the sandwiches are lukewarm right away. The times I've gone and taken it home to eat, I microwave it for 30 seconds and it's perfect. But right away, if you eat it on the go the cheese isn't melted, the bread isn't toasty, and the individual elements are not hot. So pro tip: take it home and heat it up!

When I questioned it, he brought the menu and tried to say it's $4.00 for an espresso so he was being nice by not charging $8.00 for the 2 add shots... BRO, you have a button ON THE REGISTER for "Xtra Espresso Shot" for a reason. You hit it twice for 2 add shots on the latte I'm already paying for. $3.00 for 2 add shots on a latte is reasonable, $5.50 is insane. Should have been $9.50 for a double dirty chai latte, he charged me $12.00 and thought he was being nice not charging $14.50. And it wasn't even good. Won't be coming back. Disappointed. I've had monkey bread at other local coffee shops before, but the texture here is on a completely different level. For breakfast, I ordered the French toast, and it was made well. I appreciated that it wasn't overloaded with whipped cream. My husband liked the crispy bacon and his chocolate chip pancakes he said they were rich and fluffy. We'll definitely be back. My peach mimosa was fine but honestly pretty small -- I'd be surprised if it was 8 oz. Service was OK. Nothing super major to complain about, but my mimosa wasn't delivered until I was almost through my first cup of coffee. The waitress clearly just forgot about it. She basically said so and apologized. I noted that many tables had lovely little bottles of water for when you wanted to refill your glass, but we did not receive one. It also bothered me a bit that there was a lot of "stuff" on the floor. Trash, bits of food, etc. I know that things get really busy at brunch spots on the weekends.
