**** TRIPLE GOAT ALERT **** Wow! I haven't had this great of a soft breakfast sandwich since The Bachelor Farmer closed in the north loop. The bachelor farmer had these amazing buttery soft biscuit egg/meat sandwiches and the egg here taste & thickness & fluffy is very similar and that's what made me think of the bachelor farmer. I was able to order online and it was ready within 10 minutes. This deli is located inside of the fifth Avenue market to the left when you walk into the store. I am definitely going to try the other sandwiches again and I think I would get double egg next time. I also haven't had alfalfa sprouts since Jimmy John's stop offering that ingredient and the alfalfa sprouts really make this sandwich I will have to get those sprouts every single time and I always get sprouts if it's an option on any menu for a sandwich. The aioli spread is soo good. The sausage is ground sausage. Next time i would get this again but I'd double the egg & also add bacon. Fire breakfast Sammy's! It's fun that it is just in the middle of a little C store, no seating so it's just grab and go but the sandwiches are super good and the staff was super nice. I love the sandwich bags that they put them in as well. I got the cry'n eggy and personally I like it spicier so I may add chili crunch or something to it next time too. I tell everyone I know to come here. First off, I love the little grocery store it's in! They have some fun things that I don't see other places. Nice to browse while you wait. Secondly, these sandwiches are so so sos so so so delicious. They are very messy though so I'd recommend not eating while you sit in the car unless you have a lot of napkins or wet wipes lol. Finally got around to trying out Egg on a Roll since I don't normally eat breakfast. They did a great job on the old bagel shop really leaning into the "bougie bodega" vibe. It's super clean with some basic snacks, groceries, and a pull-tab counter in the corner. Picked up a to-go order and the staff was super nice. Nice and quick with a couple folks behind me in line. No pictures of the sandwich, but it's enormous. While huge, it's surprisingly light and not something you'll immediately regret. I tell you what, I've had some VERY delicious sandwiches here. It is in the back of 5th Avenue Market... yes, inside the market. Just go on inside that market and head to the back, you can't miss it. You order on a tablet, then linger in the market's grocery aisles, awkwardly examining the microwavable entrees and condiment jars until they let you know your order is ready. Or you can order online and just come grab it when it's ready! I should probably do it that way next time. These are egg sandwiches, that's what their whole thing is. They are open from 7:30 to 3:30 on Monday through Saturday.
