I am a sucker for a good egg sandwich so I knew I had to give Egg on a Roll a try. This place is small with two ordering kiosks available and a bench inside to wait for your food. The gentleman who prepared our food was very friendly and quick! Our sandwiches came out hot and fresh! The menu consisted of roughly 6 sandwiches plus a create your own sandwich option. I got the Breakfast In Bombay consisting of egg, chorizo, chili crunch, red onion, banana pepper, alfalfa sprouts and garam masala spread. The brioche was super soft and the egg was so fluffy! It was very delicious! I loved the simple decor inside too!

Stopped by Egg on a Roll recently, and despite the name throwing me off at first (for some reason, I was expecting wraps), I was pleasantly surprised to find it's all about sandwiches--specifically on soft, delicious egg buns. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the ordering process is super smooth thanks to their self-serve kiosk. Customizing your sandwich is easy and intuitive, which I always appreciate when trying something new. I ended up splitting the Cry'n Eggy --this thing delivered way more flavor than I expected. Every bite came with a little explosion of spice, richness, and that satisfying umami kick. It was bold, tasty, and definitely not your average breakfast sandwich. If you're looking for something casual but packed with flavor, Egg on a Roll is worth checking out. Just go in expecting buns, not wraps--you'll still leave happy.

This was our second visit to Egg on a Roll and it was delicious! To order, you walk in and choose items on the touch screens. We were the only people in the place at the time, and our order was made very promptly. It's located in a building with many other businesses so even though Egg on a Roll has no tables or much seating, you can take your sandwich down the hall to Spyhouse and get a cup of coffee while you're at it!

My new favorite breakfast spot! This is the second egg on a roll location I've been to and they all rock. This one has a really cool vibe inside decked out with skateboard decorations on the walls and fun wall art everywhere. The staff is super nice, talkative, friendly and quick! The food is awesome, I had the breakfast in Bombay and added some hot sauce and pepper jack cheese to it. It had great heat and everything was cooked perfectly. I really enjoy how they do the meats, they are all chopped/diced up on top. You can find any level you want here from a really reasonable base breakfast sandwich or dress it up with any number of toppings.

I tried the Cry'N Eggy, personally, it wasn't quite as spicy as I was hoping for, and I could have done without the arugula.

Parking is a bit tough in this part of town, but there are some street parking spots available on nearby streets. The space itself is tucked between a few other establishments. It is small, with tables for groups of two and four, which is perfect for the students and staff passing through. The staff is always very helpful and friendly when I stop by! This spot is known for its Bahn Mi and Rice Bowls! I always get a Bahn Mi, which comes in small (plenty for one meal) or a large (perfect for leftovers or to split). The pork is my favorite, which is always tender, flavorful, and piled high! The sandwich also comes with a plethora of traditional veggies, including carrots, cucumber, jalapenos, and cilantro! The crusty, crunchy bread really makes this sandwich! I like mine with pate and mayo for a bit of creaminess! Never hurts to add a side of their freshly fried cream cheese wontons! The serving size of everything is also a great value for the cost. Truly one of my favorite slightly hidden gems in the Stadium Village area. Will be returning regularly!

They weren't able to do that with the burrata pasta due to the burrata ball on top which was completely fine! Both pasta dishes were tasty but the lemon pesto burrata blew me away. Every bite was absolutely incredible and it's such a unique dish that's hard to find somewhere else or replicate at home. I completely recommend giving it a try. The focaccia bread appetizer was also amazing! We added & paid for a few extra pieces to accommodate the size of our group and everyone absolutely loved it. The drinks were also really well done & strong without being overly stiff. They were really well mixed and tasty. Our server was so sweet and helped make the experience so special for us. I cannot wait to come back!

Service was very friendly! There were several vegetarian options and gluten-free options. They label their menu clearly! We ordered mocktails (blood orange fizz and citrus spritz). They were both refreshing with the fruity flavor coming through. The nonalcoholic rosé flavor was also noticeable in the citrus spritz! The penne alla vodka was good and I would get it again! It was fairly creamy and cheesy with a very very slight kick (my preference is for spicier, so I added some red pepper flakes). I ordered it with burrata, and you can't really go wrong with burrata, but I've had creamier ones! The margherita pizza was very sauce heavy, which was different than what we imagined. We would've liked to see more mozzarella. It wasn't bad but it was probably wouldn't get it again! Overall, I would come back for the ambiance and pasta!
