Out of respect, I am not going to mention our server's name however I will say that the level of disappointment is very strong. The lack of service today on a scale of 1 to 10 would be an 11. First, we never got our drinks until literally halfway through breakfast despite asking twice. Moreover, we were very specific how we wanted our eggs, which would be very light watery runny and they came out brown and overcooked. She brought the meal in pieces not as one breakfast and then with the eggs being overcooked they redid them, but they came out the exact same way. When asking for tea refills we literally waited over 10 minutes despite having reminding her. Today's visit was beyond disappointing not only was the breakfast cooked incorrectly twice and we had to wait an extensive amount of time just to even get silverware (never did get the extra napkins we asked for) the Service was very weak today. This place is seconds from closing. Their floors were so greasy and dirty, I was ice skating walking in. My food came out and the pancake didn't come out for another 20 minutes. It was over cooked on the outside and undercooked inside. When I got up to leave, I was holding my 3 year old daughter and we both fell down because of the floors. I hurt and bruised my knee. Once we were seated and given menus it took a while to place an order. We had stuffed French toast and a mini western omelette, but it took over 30 minutes. At first they forgot silverware. We were able to get it from another server. The food was good but the server didn't come back to check until the busboy had taken some of my husband's dishes while I was still eating. We'd wanted drink refills, but couldn't get our server until she brought the check, and still it took a while to get the card back & sign. It's just sad that they seemed to have plenty of workers, but it was not efficiently organized. Your mouth will appreciate me suggesting that to you. My table mate ordered the breakfast tacos, with a side order of Salted Caramel and banana waffles. Here, your eyes can truly be bigger than your stomach, and the portions pretty big. My suggestion is to decide who wants what at the table and mix it up. Again, no one came to check in, so we couldn't ask about the status of these. We sat for a long time before anyone came to take our order as well. It was ridiculous. When we walked in, the staff seemed disorganized and bickered a bit about the menu and who was leading us to the table. Then, our food took so long! I have never seen someone escalate a situation because of her own assumption that things weren't okay with the patron. The manager who is a poor example of leadership should also consider taking a course in bias training, de-escalation techniques, mediation, and mitigation skills. Instead of stepping in to address an iriate employee, he thought it would be best to call the cops on the provoked patron. Classic go to move when you don't have the proper skills to problem solve. Wanted to give a different business a try for breakfast and even though I read the mixed reviews about this establishment I wanted to test the waters for myself. My first clue that this wasn't a expected to be wowed type of experience was the parking lot wasn't full by the least. Once inside it gives off the diner/ Dennys type atmosphere, which didn't phase me in the slightest. Once seated and begin to look over the menu, which seems like there's quite a lot of options , but when it comes down to it things are just spread out in different areas. I decided on having a basic ham and cheddar cheese omelette, but that wasn't on the menu , so improvised with ham and cheddar jack cheese, side of hash browns crispy and toast. Now I'm a cheese lover for sure, but when I say that my omelette had way too much cheese it's a problem , ruined the taste of the omelette. Not to say it was awful just artery clogging. The next item was the hash browns, which weren't crispy at all, and soaked in oleo which I can't stand the taste of.That seems to be what they use instead of butter,even on the toast, so that was also not finished. I felt bad not finishing my food, because so many around me seemed quite pleased with what they ordered and consumed. Then when I looked at my husband's plate and noticed the only finished thing on his plate was his fruit for the most part. He had the omelette with Swiss cheese and also felt they were too heavy with the cheese. The waitress was also off her game, when needed , had asked someone to get her or wait wave at her to get her attention, that is a pet peeve of mine, but considering the shortage in waitstaff out here I understand. I'm in No way a "Prima Donna" or expect things to go perfect. Just people have different tastes and after spending $34.00 I have to side with the people who say spend that money somewhere else. read more
