Placed a phone order and it was ready for pick up in 15 minutes on a busy Friday around noon so that was nice. It's open daily 11am-9pm, except Sunday! Parking is in the back and very small but there is street parking available Inside is very small but there is outdoor seating. Ordered the Hainan Chicken ($14.50) and the chicken has definitely shrunk in portion compared to several years ago when I last had it. The chicken tasted very bland and disappointing. Thank goodness for the ginger sauce and chili sauce otherwise it would have had no flavor! The rice didn't taste like it was steamed in chicken broth and just seemed like plain white rice. Overall, I was very disappointed with the Hainan Chicken and most likely won't return or recommend unfortunately.
Savoy Kitchen is known for their Hainan Chicken and my partner and I were excited to go back to get some after a whole year. We parked in the designated parking and put our names down. It was around a 15 minute wait for us, which was pretty quick since we were 2 people. We sat down and were helped right away; we ordered the Hainan Chicken with Rice and Salad. The first few times we went, the chicken portion was a lot, but sadly it seemed like the portion had shrunk and we got some white meat even though we asked for dark meat ($1 extra). Savoy Kitchen used to be the go-to spot for Hainan Chicken, but we were disappointed by how small the chicken was and the rice was not that fragrant. It used to be a lot softer and had a strong chicken stock flavor. The salad was standard and so were the dipping sauces which you could ask for more if needed (we love the minced ginger sauce!). I am not sure what happened to the quality of the plates, but hoping this was just a one-off bad day. Great ambiance in the restaurant. Bustling with lots of people and the food came quite quickly.
If you're looking for a top-tier fusion dish that doesn't break the bank, Savoy absolutely delivers. Their Filet Mignon with Asian Black Pepper Sauce ($19.99) is easily one of the best value meals around. The tender, juicy filet steak cooked perfectly and smothered in a rich, savory black pepper sauce that packs just the right amount of kick. Paired with a side of white rice to soak up all that extra sauce, steaming broccoli, and fresh bread, it's a deeply satisfying meal from start to finish.
Placed a phone order for pick up. Everything was ready within minutes. Still one of my favorite restaurants. I try to get food there whenever I am in the area. Hainan Chicken Rice is one of my go-to meals. I always order an extra ginger sauce. Of course, portion size has been going down through the years and price is up but this is still my favorite here. The dark soy sauce, ginger sauce, and hot sauce were good accompaniments for the poached chicken. The rice had a delicious flavor from the chicken broth used during preparation. This is still the exemplary Hainan Chicken Rice that I use to compare others to. Shrimp Rolls came nine to an order. They were crispy with a good tasting filling and a mild spicy sauce. Great for sharing. My other favorite item is the Curry Beef Tendon Brisket. Their Malaysian style curry sauce is slightly lighter in color than before but still tasted the same. There were plenty of tender, gelatinous beef tendons in the curry and it was served with steamed rice topped with caramelized onions. The onions had a good flavor from the caramelization. Service was very polite and efficient. The dedicated parking lot across the street from the restaurant is very convenient.
Came during lunch time and a great slot. It was packed to the brim already but a couple tables had just wrapped up so we were seated quickly even after filling out the sign in sheet being 4th in line (: My mom and auntie wanted to try this spot and they are def critical and surprisingly they liked it! Loved the chicken broth as there is a small hint of ginsing herb in it. Very light and clean broth. The hainan chicken was hitting as always and I love love the ginger and orange sauce they have. Def worth stopping by if one is craving a relatively clean and healthy meal.
Savoy Kitchen is probably one of the most well known hole in the wall gems of outskirts LA. It's been around since the early 1980s. My parents have been coming here since their hey days, and I apparently came here with them as a baby. Quality and authenticity of the food here is so good. First of all, we came about 40 minutes before closing. They were about to seat us outside, but then the waiter noticed that we had two babies int he party. He was so nice. As soon as he saw that, he told the restaurant we couldn't sit outside, that we should be inside because it was cold and dark out. He earned major kudos from my mom with that thoughtful gesture. We ordered 2 orders of the hainan chicken with rice, beef curry, fish with cream sauce and pasta, and duck pasta. Everything was amazing. The hainan chicken rice was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The chicken was tender and juicy. It was a clear favorite in the group. The beef curry was filled with umami, and the beef was braised so tender. The beef curry was my dad's and my favorite. My husband and daughters enjoyed the duck pasta the most. It had the essence of a spaghetti, which the little girls loved, but the uniqueness of duck which my husband loved. My mom really liked the fish in cream sauce. No fuss or frills, just delicious food and fast service. If I lived nearby, we'd come much more often!
Amazing Hainan Chicken (all dark meat). Other dishes were okay. Got the mushroom cream pasta which was decent but the duck pizza seemed very whatever. Almost tasted like a frozen pizza that was doctored up. They give you Fresh bread. We dined in but very limited seating so we had to sit outside. Service was fast.
This place is always busy. Got the Friday special, of tail stew, was so good. Staff are friendly and food was very fast.
Made it here before the crowds on Memorial Day. Arrived at ~11:30 am and was seated at the counter which was perfect. We had the classic Hainan Chicken Rice $14.50, dark meat only $2 upcharge and the smoked duck pizza $14.95. The food had good flavor. It is what you expect from Hainan Chicken Rice. My friend commented that barbecue sauce would have gone well with her smoked duck pizza. Service is quick. The staff was busy with indoor and outdoor tables. Indoor seating is limited. There is more outdoor seating. However, the restaurant does a substantial amount of takeout orders. That's the way to go!
It's been some time since we've frequented Savoy, so it was nice to be back. We stopped by after the gym and were seated right away, which was a great start to the visit. We ordered the Beef Curry with Rice and the Hainan Chicken with Dark Meat, Rice & Salad. The beef curry was rich, savory, and comforting, while the Hainan chicken was tender and flavorful. Both dishes made for a satisfying post-gym meal. Overall, it was great to return to an old favorite. Good food, quick seating, and a familiar experience that brought back some memories.
I haven't been here since 2011 and I am glad I came back. It has been such a big change since the last time I tried Hainan chicken dish. There's a lot more seating which is at the patio area compared to back then and definitely a change in decor and interior design. There are more staff who each help with ordering and clean up, we came before the dinner rush and sat inside which can only fit 2-3 per table. We ordered the hainan chicken with rice, creamy fish pasta, and shrimp spring rolls. I loved the spring rolls, crispy and savory a little but if sweet with the sauce. There's Hainan chicken we got dark meat which is $1 extra, looks a lot smaller than expected compared to the rice which was 3/4 the dish. There's best part of the meal was the creamy fish pasta, cheesy and creamy full of mushrooms and fish fillet. I think it was amazing, but not for those lactose intolerant. They had a private restroom available which the key is near the cashier counter and the restroom is located in the back of the building around the alley. Very small bathroom, the size of a closet. Overall, it was great, the place is busy as ever and would like to come back to try their other dishes as well.
Wow Savoy WTF happened to you guys. The quality is completely gone. Just look at that sorry ass chicken. Dry dark meat and taste like fridge. No need to come here anymore.
Wow, how long has it been. I used to come here all the time, Unfortunately a few things changed. The amount of chicken is reduced, and it's no more refils on the ice tea. Service is still good, the staff is quick the food comes out really quick. Seating is limited, but it's not as packed as it used to be. We got the classic hainan chicken rice it's very good and tasted the same as 10 years ago. ( Feels like less chicken though) Baked white fish fillet with pasta, this is so creamy and thick. Beware of food coma, I took a nap when I got home.

Visited this place for the first time since post pandemic to eat some solid hainanese chicken and rice. The outdoor seating was a nice addition and they added cute holiday decor for Christmas. The service was quick and friendly. I arrived on a Friday late lunch time and was seated immediately. Hainan chicken with rice was mid, sauces were good, and the traditional pasta I ordered on a whim was good for the price and the complimentary bread was good. Overall I think I'm leaving a bit disappointed but might come back just for the nostalgia and the ginger sauce. Parking: street parking and private lot across the street P.S I would give them a 3.5 but rounding up to a 4. read more

Got there at 530pm and got seated right away. Ordered the hainan chicken-dark meat and shrimp rolls. Can passs on the shrimp rolls but the Hainan chicken.. oh my lawd. Delicious! sauces were good too but didn't enjoy the ginger sauce cuz it was sooo strong for my taste. I don't care for rice but the rice was so fluffy and good with the chicken + sauces. Def coming back read more
Update on my review since it's been over 8 years. This spot continues to have the best Hainan chicken around, hands down. The only downside is that it's 45 minutes to an hour away from us, but it's totally worth the drive. One thing to note, though--they no longer offer free iced tea refills, which is a bummer. It's also pre-sweetened as to before you can pour the syrup to your liking. It's a bit sweet but I let the ice melt and it was fine. Or add some water to it? lol But the real perk of dining in is you get all the ginger sauce you want. For takeout, the sauce comes in tiny containers, so you miss out on that! The service is incredibly fast. Even with a 22-month-old, we were able to eat and go within 45 minutes. We even ordered the smoked duck pizza, which takes around 30 minutes, but everything was served quickly and efficiently. We visited on Labor Day (Monday) around 12:30 pm, and despite six people ahead of us, we only waited 20 minutes for a table, which wasn't bad at all. They have their own parking lot that's easy to spot, but you can also park on the street--just make sure to check for street sweeping signs. Note, the place is small and not great for big groups. If you do plan on going with a big group, it's best to be the first ones in line when they open. Otherwise, you might be waiting for a bit. Still my go-to spot for Hainan chicken! Highly recommend. read more
I always come here if I am craving Hainanese chicken rice. This time I ordered their shrimp egg rolls, Cornish hen, and their regular hainan chicken with all white meat for extra protein. I like their rice because it is always seasoned well and light when I eat it. Their hainan chicken meat was tender at every bite and well cooked in meaty broth with aromatics like garlic and ginger. Their Cornish hen was tender, juicy with flavors of garlic, pepper, and ginger. Shrimp egg rolls were small but they tasted okay. I called them ahead for a pick up as soon as they open and they were fast at preparing my orders. By the time I got to their place, my orders were ready. They also have cute patio outside with tables and chairs. When inside is packed during dinner or lunch, people can sit outside. Inside is cozy with few chairs and tables. They have their own parking lot across from their place which is convenient. Foods are good here and I have been coming here for few years and the taste and flavor never changed. read more

The Hainan Chicken Rice is not as good as I remember it to be. Used to come here around 2005-2009 whenever I was in the area. Was very good back then. Now...sigh. TINY portions and inconsistent meat tenderness. Go down the street to Ipoh Kopitam if you want better tasting Hainan Chicken Rice. read more

My family, friends and I have been dining here for more than two decades now, and even today, it is the default and best Hainan chicken place we have tried in all of San Gabriel Valley. We've tried several other Hainan chicken places, like some of them as well, but this place is still hands down still the best all around. Other items on the menu is not exactly impressive or outstanding, but they are still pretty good according to normal standards. Their complimentary bread tastes good, so does their conch pasta and chrysanthemum tea. Curries are not bad, Baked Escargot w/ Herb Butter is decent but oily, Shrimp rolls are okay - crunchy and small. Service is fast, buying take-out to-go is the best option for not wanting to wait. Though they are packed all the time, parking is fairly convenient with their dedicated parking lot across the street plus street parking. We take out-of-town guests here all the time, order party trays for events, and buy take-out for normal everyday meal frequently. 95% of the time is to buy their Hainan Chicken Rice with dark meat (tastes softer & sweeter). So yes, it's worth the visit. read more

I come here from time to time since the 90's; dishes always taste great but the portions are getting smaller and smaller while the prices are higher and higher :( First it's the Hainan chicken, so I stopped ordering it. Before the most recent price increase (2025-04), the curry pork chop has 3/8" thick fried pork chops in it. Now with slightly higher price (2025-06), the pork chops are only 1/8" thin (I couldn't tell if it has been fried since they're so thin). Very disappointed and most likely not coming back. Very sad :( read more

Best Hainan Chicken in LA! No frills here. Just succulent dark meat, addicting ginger sauce, and fragrant rice cooked in chicken broth. Each bite is *chef's kiss.* Finishing with a cold cup of chrysanthemum tea hits the sweet spot. If you're not feeling Hainan chicken, don't worry. The menu also offers an eclectic mix of curry, seafood casserole, pizza, and pasta. The restaurant is usually packed, but the wait's never been too long thanks to their speedy service. If you're in the area, swing by and give this place a try :) read more

It gets quite busy here and it's easy to see why. Delicious food and it is a small dining space (there's some indoor dining and some outdoor dining spots), the staff is constantly working their butt off here, even on a weekday evening, later than the regular dinner rush time. We did street parking in the neighborhood but it can get ugly for parking here I'm sure of it. We had our dinner in their outside dining area and it's quite cute. Reminded me of a romantic European alleyway complete with the brick wall and food being delivered through a tiny window, warm, ambient lights, small wooden fence to separate from the sidewalk complete with its own shrubbery. Quite nice For dinner, we got the: 1) Baked Escargot with Herb Butter: -This comes with a side of pizza bread (imagine just the crust and bread part of the pizza) to enjoy with the escargot. -The escargot I think was slightly a bit more overcooked than what I would have liked, so it was a tad chewy but the garlic and butter sauce mix that it was baked in was delicious. Indulgent 2) Seafood Pasta: -You have the choice of having your seafood baked in either tomato, garlic, or cream sauce and we opted for the cream sauce. Simple taste and not too heavily rich. Came with a generous amount of seafood such as squid, shrimp, and scallops. The seafood is baked separately from the noodles (which are medium width flat pasta noodles), so you can enjoy them separately, toss the noodles in, etc. 3) Hainan Chicken Rice: -A MUST when you dine here. There are several variations you can get with this dish that include no salad, with salad, +$1 for dark meat, half chicken, whole chicken, chicken and rice only, etc. -We opted to get the dark meat version that came with rice and a side of salad and dressing. -All dishes come with the required chili and ginger sauce to dip the pieces of chicken in. Meat was super moist and flavorful. You can really taste it in the rice as well. Rich chicken essence taste without tasting too "chicken-y" if that makes sense and adding a taste of chili and ginger here and there gave great variation and made it so you can't grow tired of the dish. -Good stuff. Unique restaurant that not only has delicious Hainan chicken rice, but also lots of Italian/European dishes with an Asian flare in cooking style added into it too. read more
The food was excellent. I ordered pasta, and it came in great flavors. The sauce was a bit liquidy for me. It could've been perfect if they made it a little bit thicker. I came when when there was a long line, but didn't have to wait for too long. The service was fast and pretty good. read more
Fair prices, fair portions, and a mini parking lot (and plenty of street parking when that inevitably fills up). Most folks including myself come to Savoy Kitchen when the craving for Hainan Chicken hits. While they have other items on their menu, everyone around me had the same platter of white chicken on their table, with heaping ginger sauce dishes. The wait was about 20 minutes for a party of two on a Saturday night - not too bad for a place this popular! If you order a quarter chicken, it comes with rice and salad, but the half-chicken is a la carte which means the rice has to be ordered separately. I found a bit strange; does anyone eat Hainan Chicken without the rice...? Onto the food itself: the chicken is moist and tender, but let's be honest: it's the sauce that makes the taste. The ginger sauce is solid, but I've had better elsewhere; it's awesome that they will refill the sauces for you though, plenty of other chicken restaurants are stingy and will charge. I do like the chili sauce, I think that's quite unique. However, the rice was a bit lacking; I think the best Hainan chicken has a flavorful rice that really soaks up the chicken broth, and the rice was pretty bland. All in all however, a solid Hainan Chicken restaurant; my friend never had the dish before and loved it! read more
Did Savoy Kitchen replace their chef? The Hainan Chicken Rice isn't as good as I remembered from my past visits. Not terrible, but very one dimensional tasting of just SALTY plain notes. The Aromatics of favors (ginger, garlic, green onion, etc) didn't come through for the rice or chicken. Speaking of rice: The rice was so plain; not fragrant and definitely absent of chicken umami (aka rendered chicken fat or schmaltz). The sauce trio didn't help either . So disappointed! My friends drove all the way from San Diego to try this place and we all agreed we had better Hainan Chicken elsewhere. I can't comment on anything else on the menu because I only have ordered their specialty Hainan Chicken Rice at Savoy, and once again the chicken rice is different now. Ambiance: The outside patio is small but kinda and cozy if you don't mind sitting in close proximity to the next table. Inside seating is bare-bones. Service: Hit or miss. Parking: a private lot on Monterey St (across from the restaurant); look for the painted red sign that says "Savoy Parking". Or Street Park. Payment: Cash or Credit. read more
Hmm it's been a long while and looks like prices went up & Food quality dropped as far as now a days you get hainan chicken. That's all you get (chicken n rice & the sauces) The salad/veggie disappeared now. Inflation sucks but oh wells. Also credit card/debit card is $15 minimum, don't worry, if you eat here, you can't spend less than $15 pretty much Food taste still good. Just charge 2 more dollars and give the veggies read more
Savoy has been around the SGV since forever, and they're best known for their Hainan chicken! I've been here many times, and I will say that over the years, unfortunately the portions have definitely gotten smaller. They still give a large amount of rice, but the chicken portion has shrunken. It comes with their soy sauce, orange spicy sauce, and a ginger sauce, which really make the dish. A downside is that when you order to go, they now charge $0.50 extra per sauce (it used to be free). I'm still willing to pay for the extra sauces but I do feel like it's a bit much for such a small container. It is a pretty small restaurant, and they have indoor and outdoor seating. I've seen it get pretty busy, but their service is quick. The workers are friendly and efficient. They used to be cash only but now they accept card. There's street parking or they have a small lot on the other side of the street next to the auto shop. Overall, Savoy is a staple in the SGV with delicious Hainan chicken but I do wish they didn't cut back on their potions. read more

It's crazy how you can get all three carbs here- rice, pasta, and pizza/bread. I came for the Hainan chicken (which was bomb, perfectly tender and flavorful with their three different sauces) and rice (also flavorful by itself) but I was feeling silly and wanted to try all the carbs they offer. The menu is really one of a kind- I got duck pizza and it was delicious. Not game-y at all if you've never had duck and the onions balanced the cheese of the dish really well. I also was craving pasta and ended up getting a creamy mushroom one. It was solid and came out hot and fresh WITH extra breadsticks too. My order also came out fast but one at a time like they really put love and care into it. Next time I wanna try the escargot and more of their desserts! Note: lots of parking they even have their dedicated lot to the right of the restaurant- only 4 tables for indoor dining mostly available outside read more

I've been coming to Savoy for many years. I just stopped by for lunch the other day and I'm curious if they had a new ownership. I felt a minimal change in the flavor. I came during lunch hours but was able to get a table for two people within ten minutes. I sat outdoor and service was great! Not sure if they sell drinks in a one size cup. Sometimes I get the small cup size and sometimes in a big cup size? I parked on the street for an hour with no issue. read more
I've been coming to Savoy since I was young and nothing has changed -- still one of my favorite restaurants in Alhambra. I have 3 go-to orders: Hainan chicken, baked halibut, & the filet mignon. The food is always so consistent here. Whenever someone asked me what my reccs are I would say the three dishes I mentioned + the chrysanthemum tea +++ the crème brûlée as a desert. The filet mignon sauce is to die for -- PRO TIP I always ask for extra black pepper sauce (I'm a sauce girly). I love drenching my filet mignon in that delicious sauce they give xD Since I am a noodles girl, I always ask for pasta with my baked halibut and I personally think that tastes better. For Hainan chicken, it's MANDATORY you eat it with rice & I also love asking for extra sauce because it makes it 100x better. I've ordered dine-in and to-go before... but nothing hits as good as dining in always does. There's also plenty of parking on the street. I'LL BE BACK SOON :-) read more

Our first time here and it has blown us away! We got the Hainan chicken rice with salad and opted for dark meat, the escargot (that comes with garlic bread), and crème brûlée! The chicken is tender and flavorful - we loved all three sauces and felt it was enough for our portion (but you can get extra sauces for 50 cents I believe). The rice is infused with chicken broth aroma and very moist (you can also get chicken broth on the side for extra)! Love the portion size and every bite was super enjoyable! We didn't have high expectation for the crème brûlée but it blew us away! The caramelized top is crispy and crunchy with the perfect amount of sweetness and the cream part is sooo smooth and yet not overly sweet at all (which we loved)! Service was amazing! There is a parking lot across the street and there are some street parking as well! Highly recommend to satisfy your Hainan chicken cravings! Not to mention they also have lunch specials Monday through Friday! read more
tl;dr the Hainanese chicken rice has developed a cult following, but only the (admittedly delicious) sauces are anything worth writing about Savoy Kitchen is a longtime Alhambra restaurant boasting a 40-year history that can be summed up in 3 words: Hainanese chicken rice. Whether lunch or dinner, queues routinely trail out the door of this diminutive Chinese cafe, and everyone is clamoring for the same signature dish. You can't miss the custom red and yellow neon signs popping against the evening sky. A ruby red mural (curiously painted onto a building across the street) points toward the dedicated parking lot. You can barely see into the cramped corner shop through the dense blinds. Inside are only a handful of round wooden tables and window-side half-booths. You'll have better luck securing a seat within the vine-and-planter-bounded patio space running perpendicular to Valley. Stainless steel patio furniture is pressed against the exposed brick wall, and twinkle lights cast a warm glow over the space. The sound of silverware scraping against plastic plates blends with the hum of street traffic. A friend and I faced a minimal queue on a weekday evening, while I was met with a 30-minute wait for weekday lunch. Of course, on both visits, I ordered the signature Hainan Chicken Rice & Salad. The slightly skimpy portion of tender, poached, skin-on chicken was nothing remarkable, nor were the baseball-size mound of stock-cooked rice or standard side salad. Rather, the food served more as a conduit for the upscale sauces. The mustard-forward salad dressing popped, and the 3 dipping sauces (a fermented soy sauce, tangy chili sauce, and strong ginger paste) were each uniquely tasty. Most notably, servers will refill the sauces across your meal, so no need to ration them out. Meanwhile, the made-to-order Smoked Duck Pizza paired a flavor-forward protein with Italian-ish ingredients and bready, Little Caesar's-esque crust. Besides the duck wow factor, the pizza was forgettable and similarly served as a backbone for the sauces. Service was quick to take our order and prepare the food but subsequently absent -- don't expect refills or your check without explicitly asking. Our meal worked out to a hair over $30 (after tax and tip). It took me over a year to pay Savoy a return visit, and my opinion hasn't changed: the good-not-great chicken rice is palatably priced, even if only the bottomless sauces make a lasting impression. read more

For a while during the 2010's, everyone was raving about grabbing their fill of Hainan Chicken with their lemon tea here. My workplace often ordered Savoy at least once a month for the past year and the quality has been going down each time. I have been ordering their famous Hainan chicken dish for years but it has slowly dropped off from being my go-to. I used to be a big fan of Italian sausage pizza, seafood pasta, and their Baked Seafood Casserole. This past visit on a weekday afternoon, we had ordered the roasted cornish Hen and the seafood casserole with pasta. The cornish hen was a straightforward dish, the hen with either rice or pasta. The presentation was as I saw on some of the Yelp pics except we were missing the sauce. We requested the usual sauces and the waitress brought the sauce in the condiment food pan and slathered an insane amount on the rice. It began to look like mush as the rice started soaking up the sauce. As for the casserole, there isn't a place around here that did it like Savoy. Unfortunately, this time the sauce was super salty and runnier than usual. It was a packed hour, servers were busy, and people we lining up. I want to give the benefit of the doubt it was an off day for Savoy, but the sauce incident left me feeling overall disappointed. read more

It's been long time since we last visited this place. Inside dining is open now, besides the permanent patio dining. 3 small tables and 3 counter height inside. Still long queue as usual. Service is fast. Turn around mostly dependent on the people who dined in and chatting. Food still tasty and delicious, consistent. Hainan Chicken Rice. Broth as side, light taste. Dark+$1. The amount of food is the one that changed. They tried to keep price low. Somebody complained about the price probably hasn't seen lots of other places. Minimum $15 for Credit Card. read more
This place used to be so bomb but I haven't had this place in over 5 years and Savoy is not as good as I remembered. A few pieces of chicken over a huge bed of rice. The chicken was bland but at least the rice was flavored. They gave so little of the ginger scallion oil sauce. They used to come around with buckets of sauce for refill but not anymore. Service was great. They have outdoor seating and the waitresses are kind about wait times and arranging parties properly. read more
I know the quality here is not as imPECKable as before, but if you have nothing of HAI-er quality here in NorCal, then this NAN-theless is my best bet. .:: Food ::. Hainan Chicken Rice $11.95 (dark meat only +$1): I ALWAYS get full dark meat only. Rice is steamed in chicken broth and chicken is poached perfectly to where its still juicy. (do not get the white meat as its more dry). They do the ginger sauce perfectly. I do see that portion size has gone down for chicken portion and it's probably not as good as before. BUT this is far better than any places in NorCal and in Norcal it would be $15+. Extra $0.50 for extra sauce now. They also sell a bunch of other pasta /pizza /curry stuff, but I've never tried, I only come for their Hainan Chicken. .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::. The place is usually full of Chinese Aunties. Who are all super nice! I usually order in Chinese so they're pretty chill. Doesnt take too long to get food. It would take 10-15 minutes after I place order whether it be take out order or dining in. The place is very cafe vibes. They use to have indoor / outdoor seating. But it seems like they only have outdoor dining ever since COVID. Parking was always easy, but I didnt go back in the day when they had lines out the door. I only discovered this place in 2015 probably. So every time I came, I had front VIP parking on the street. read more
Best Hainan chicken ever! My friend and I went here for dinner around 6:30 and although it was busy we were seated right away. There is plenty of parking on the street or even a parking lot across the restaurant. We decided to share the mushroom pizza, shrimp roll and Hainan chicken. The chicken and shrimp roll were my favorite! It was delicious especially the sauce it comes with. Mushroom pizza was good too but not my favorite. The staff was super friendly and always made sure we had water even though it was busy. We sat outside which was a nice area on the side. Bathroom was around the corner and clean. Overall I would love to come here again and maybe try a different food item! read more

What's the difference between Curry Beef and Curry Beef Stew?
Do they take reservations?
No, you have to write your name on the paper outside (waiting list) and make sure all of your party is there when they call your name. The place has limited seats and table. That's why they don't do reservations. My suggestion, go there when not in…
