Ordered the lunch special. Two slices and a drink for a little over $8. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of mushroom. Both slices were exceptionally delicious I love how the chef took his time placing the pepperoni pieces like a pyramid. Both the pepperoni and the mushroom was tasty and delicious. I had a brief chat with a with an employee who turned out to be one of the owners. Very friendly guy shook my hand and introduced himself. I will definitely be coming back and bringing more people with me. Places like this are a gem if you haven't been there you are really missing out. Delicious food solidly executed! My husband had come across Sauce'd on Instagram and we had it on our list to try for some time. Yesterday we decided to head over to Grapevine for a few things and finally made our way to Sauce'd! We arrived around 7:10 and the business was scheduled to close at 8. They were slammed. Almost all of the tables were taken and there were people waiting for takeout as well. The server, Seth, was amazing. Despite the rush, he took care of each and every table, making sure everyone was happy with the food and even offering refills on beverages. We were really impressed with him! As for our order, we debated if we should stick to burgers on this visit or try a burger and a pizza, and we ended up going with a burger (Bourbon Jam) and a pizza (Spicy Hula). Let's talk about the burger. We ordered it with fries and when the tray arrived at our table, everything was hot and delicious. The fries were so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The burger was hot and had really good flavor. I was so impressed with the solid execution on a burger and fries. For the pizza, we tried the Texas style crust after seeing it at other tables, and honestly for me, it was just ok. I think what made the pizza delicious was the crisp thin crust overall (the middle of the pizza was nice and crispy and not floppy and soggy), so next time I would probably get NY. Pizza, like the burger, was executed so well. As I mentioned earlier, I loved that it was hot and the center was not soggy/floppy. It was perfectly crispy, which made that first bite so enjoyable. Came to this restaurant last weekend with family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Our waitress was very nice. Everyone said their food was good. I asked for a Caesar salad with chicken. At first the waitress said they were out of lettuce, then she came back and said they found some but didn't have chicken. Then she apparently found 3 tiny pieces of chicken and put those on the salad.....she tried... My reason for the lower rating is because I have a severe allergy - if I eat something with this ingredient in it, I go into anaphylactic shock and have to go to the hospital. I asked two different people if they could tell me if that ingredient was used to season the hamburger meat or the fries and neither one could tell me. When I asked if they could call a manager, they said the owners wouldn't tell them because it was a secret family recipe. We won't come back for this reason. read more

I wanted to love this place based on the amazing burger and pizza photos on Instagram and Facebook, but our experience was deeply disappointing due to poor communication and service. My family of 11 arrived for a late lunch around 3:30 PM. The restaurant is small (maybe 20 tables), so we expected a wait. We were quoted at least an hour, which was fine. However, the wait was so excessive that we watched other parties arrive *after us*, get on the waitlist, be seated, eat their meals, and leave - all while we were still waiting outside. We weren't finally seated until 5:00 PM, a full 90 minutes after arriving. Here's where things really fell apart: **No one set expectations with us at any point.** Once seated, we waited another 20-30 minutes before anyone took our food order. When we finally did order, no one mentioned that their grill could only cook four burgers at a time or that a large party would face significant delays. This basic communication would have helped us decide whether to stay or make other plans. Half our table received food around 6:00 PM, while the other half waited an additional 15-20 minutes. We didn't leave until 6:30 PM - a full three hours after arriving, most of it hungry and in the dark about when we'd be served. The service failures were significant: - **Zero communication** about kitchen capacity or realistic wait times for our party size - We were repeatedly passed over for seating while smaller parties that arrived after us were seated, served, and left - Our server placed two separate orders instead of one, causing our table to be fed at different times - Other tables and to-go orders were prioritized between our orders - Servers avoided eye contact throughout our visit - We were never offered drink refills or checked on during the extended wait - Two burgers were comped due to the wait, which we appreciated - the next day my card was hit with a double charge. 1st charge, The total bill, then nd charge, The total bill plus the mediocre tip I left The food itself? My burger was actually very good (can't speak to the pizza). But even good food can't compensate for three hours of poor service and a complete lack of communication about what to expect. **Bottom line:** If you can't accommodate large parties efficiently, tell customers upfront so they can make an informed decision. We would have appreciated honesty about the situation far more than being left in the dark for three hours while watching other diners come and go. Prices are reasonable staff very accommodating and it's BYOB so you're saving money if that's something you like. We went on a Friday night. The patty was cooked just right had just enough grease. I couldn't make up my mind about the sauce. The bun was kind of sweet I enjoyed that. The grilled onions were nice. Now let's get to these friessss! The fries were perfect from the seasoning to how well they were cooked I didn't need one drop of ketchup they were perfect just the way they were. Their website seems to really promote their smash burgers but I needed to buying food to a small gathering so I ordered two pizzas and brought them. Everyone loved the pizzas and even admitted to not liking them prior to me bringing them so I don't know the deal there but the hot honey on the pizza is amazing and the margarita pizza was a solid choice too. read more

First the cashier charge an extra pizza on our order (I ask the cashier prior to paying we only you items items and he confirm it) we requested to be refund he said "we can't " then the pizza is done, but the burger wasn't there. Ambiance is what you would expect for a strip mall pizza place. I actually liked the old layout where you could see in the kitchen and sit at the bar area. But anyway, let's talk food. The kiddo liked the mini pizzas but said they could use more cheese. We ordered the meat lovers and added pineapple. My husband enjoyed, I wasn't a huge fan so I ordered a regular slice. I enjoyed the regular slice much more although I felt it has too much oregano. Will order without next time and add my own. My favorite burger spot by far in the DFW area. The food always comes out hot. The buffalo wings are BOMB, a must to try for your appetizer. Service is pretty quick and the wait staff is always attentive, checking on you frequently but not too much where you get annoyed. I asked for a slice of pepperoni to go. She rings me up and says 10-15 minutes. For a SLICE of pizza. "Ok, it must be hot and fresh", I think to myself. So I sit down on a bench that's missing rails on the bottom and is super uncomfortable. About 7 minutes later my pizza is ready and it is very hot and fresh! Score! Took it home to enjoy it and after one bite I was so disappointed. The crust was great! The sauce was so bland and the pepperonis were so tiny. I would not come back to this place for pizza. This is one of our when visiting Great Wolf food spots we have hit it twice now, & definitely will have a thrice visit when in the area again. We did 12INCH 8 Finger Cheese & the All day special of 2 NY 1 Topping Slices & a Drink for $7.50 (we choose specialty slices, which is also an option). The 8 Finger Cheese is a pizza and appetizer combined. Fried mozzarella sticks on top of the cheese pizza with ranch swirls. It's a delicious combo for cheese lovers. And that "Texas style" crust is awesome. That fold over that creates a pocket hiding away a bit if the toppings and cheese to make the crust more than just the usual bread is a bonus. The Honey Pep, well let's just say I now want all my pepperoni to have that sweet and spicy that "Mikes Hot honey" added. The little pool of melted honey cupped by the pepperoni, game changer. The restaurant looks like it could use a makeover. Dirty everywhere. I highly recommend they hire a professional window washer and deep clean everything inside.
