BEWARE. There are two nail salons in this strip mall corner. Of the two, this one was nicer and not as busy so my friend and I decided to try this one out. We sat and got served a complimentary drink. Then it sort of all went down hill. I was so excited to finally do a legit almond shape because I had my natural nails long enough. Well the tech didn't make it pointed and didn't check to ensure both hands were the same. In the photo, you can easily see difference in the lengths and the lack of a single point! This was after she tried to fix it after botching it initially. That's why they're so short. Then I got a new technical and she saw how off they were and "fixed" it. She didn't re-compare the nails and when it was all said and done...you can see they are still not similar in length. Also? The paint job was done poorly! There are bubbles and bumps in several nails. I went back in and showed the woman at the front desk and we scheduled to fix this come Monday as I'm heading out of town. This was gel! Overall - $55, $25 simple mani + $15 gel + $15 chrome effect Moving onto my pedicure, that technical was so rough. When she was pushing my cuticles back, she was doing too much. I flinched a few times but that didn't course correct. She didn't ask how I wanted my toes. I finally told her before the polish went on that I wanted them rounder. I got the signature pedicure, which was $50. It included a callus scrub. She scrubbed my feet pretty hard that I sustained a cut. So the only silver lining is they're willing to fix it. I showed a reference picture of what I wanted, very clean looking baby pink french tip. I think my nail tech took a quick glimpse at the picture, saw the french tip and nothing else. I tried to clarify a few times during the actual appointment about the baby pink, which was even acknowledged but somehow I still ended up with stark white tips and no base coat/color. They also didn't ask me about the length or shape, even with the reference picture, I don't feel they look very similar at all. Cuticle care was also very rough and I left with a few cuts. I do feel like there must have been some miscommunication along the way, but I had tried to be as clear as I could each time. Even though I was unhappy with the nails at the end of the appointment, I ended up just leaving since they were already closing up the shop. I have been going to Sassy Nail Bar for years, have had mostly decent service. Recently started doing gel on my nails, maybe 3 times with my last manicure prior to my recent service being regular polish. However yesterday I had gel, which ended with wavy nails. From what I looked up there are multiple reasons this happens, often due to application. When I went back in they claimed it was my nail bed, I told them I had regular non gel this last time and this was not the case my nails looked normal, but they would not consider it could be the curing process and blamed it on my nail bed. I have been a loyal customer, however after this experience I will not be returning. read more

My inspo pic was a simple French nail. The service was horrible and very uncomfortable. It was bulky, uneven and a painful experience to be honest. The whole salon is dusty and dirty. Now I understand that they give free drinks to cover up for shitty service! I don't even know how they pass health inspections. The nail cart they dragged definitely had dust and expired stuff in it. I should've walked out when I saw that! I wish I asked for a refund. Right after this horrible incident, I went to another nail salon near home goods and they took all of it off and redid my nails BEAUTIFULLY! Then I said French Tip chrome please. She again changed my want and said no Ombré French. Again less work. I asked for crystals on one index finger. She kept saying one finger would look Weird. Total scam! Went for a gel pedicure and a dipped nail set. The only extras I bought were the callus remover and chrome on my nails. $15 each extra. My bill turned out to be $140. I am flabbergasted I called to find out why and they told me they don't include massages on pedicures. I was never told this. Turned out I was charged $75 for my nails and $65 for my feet. WTH. They pressured you, and they insist to get the bundles that they have I only wanted the basic with gel and she insist and that's not good. I didn't feel comfortable, but I still stay there. I regret it because two white ladies came and they even offered them soda or something to drink and for me they didn't just because of my color. I can't believe how mean their male nail artist is. The one with glasses. I was asking him to correct mistakes, for example one of my fingers was a deeper pink than the rest of my fingers. He then continued to blame me, saying "I asked you if this is fine!" I believe the gel blue light increased the color of my one nail that had an uneven amount of polish on it. I also had him give me a thinner French tip after he tried a very thick tip. He blamed me again saying "thats not French tip, that's a line." French tip can be thinly done. I was left with uneven nails. Throughout the appointment, after I asked him to fix things he kept telling me that I should just do my nails at home if I knew so much about nails. He was genuinely so mean. UPDATE: After I called the salon to explain this, they offered to fix my nails whenever I could come in. I did go in and got my nails redone by a very sweet nail artist. Been coming here for a couple years but haven't stopped by in a while since I moved for school. Came in yesterday with a friend and asked if we could get two manicures. We were told yes and seated by some lady at the front whom I've never seen before. All I wanted was a French tip manicure on my natural nails, my friend was doing a full gel x set. A lady starts doing her nails and soaking her previous set as I sit there on my phone not without being acknowledged. I sat there for twenty minutes while no one said anything to me or even updated me on what was going on. Then another girl comes in asking for a manicure and also gets told yes and seated at the end of the nail bar. Now two of us are sitting there with no help for another TEN minutes. The lady that sat me walks by multiple times with no acknowledgement, so I stopped her and asked id she knew how long it would take for someone to come begin the service I was promised. I was met with attitude and she told me it'd be twenty minutes, I said "twenty MORE minutes?" And she mumbles something eventually saying yes? I said I'm okay without the service and she rolls her eyes and walks away without saying anything at all. I sat there for another ten minutes just in case someone became available or wanted to help me, which never happened. I ended up walking out and no one said a word to me or apologized including the lady at the front who ignored me as I left. When my friend left after her set was done, they said "tell your friend we said sorry". You couldn't tell me yourself or actually apologize to my face? They were not sorry, they do not care. My experience here was great! Katie was my technician and she was so kind and so sweet. She did a great job of cleaning up my toes. I can tell she pays attention to detail. I had a great pedicure and will be back to request her. I do wish that some of the lotions or scrubs were also warm though. In comparison to the warm water and hot stones/towels, the lotions and scrubs felt very cold. I also really appreciate the free drink with service! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking with Katie! She's so sweet and gentle when trimming my nails and giving me a foot massage. I originally came to get a basic pedicure and she recommended I upgrade and I decided to do the Signature Pedicure since I was looking for something simple. I also did a gel nail polish. The 10-minute foot massage was super relaxing! They have higher tiers of services but if you are looking for something a little more than simple, then I recommend the Signature pedicure. I was very dissatisfied with the service here, I came for the first time and it was okay but my gel nails chipped after a week. I gave them one more chance with my nails and they did a horrible job. I had one nail that needed to be replaced and I asked for a new nail and she just glued it down. After one week my new nails are chipping and look terrible (see picture). I feel refreshed and relaxed after my visits. The acrylic is thin and lasts a month+. I drive from San Diego for these services and very happy with my nails. The worst Nail spa ever. I paid 255$ for me and my 11years old daughter and didn't get what I paid for. First they have zero hygiene. They use the same tools unless you see and tell them why you are not opening a sterilized new kit. Second they charge you the way they chose to. Be aware to check the amount when you are paying. I had a not so pleasant experience here. 1. It was going OK but at 5:30, the artist doing my gel manicure, her phone alarm went off and she started rushing the process..really rushing (the nail bar closes at 7, there was still plenty of time). & as anyone who gets their nails done knows that this is the WORST feeling ever. What made it worse was that the rushed part was her doing the white outline of the French tip. She did one hand and it sincerely came out horrible. Very thick and uneven. I kindly asked her to fix ONE and she grabbed my hand roughly and fixed it. I had her fix four of my nails on that hand- she was clearly very annoyed. Once she started on my other hand I figured she would have realized how I actually want the thickness of the "white" to be. Nope, she proceeded to rush again and 3 nails came out just as bad. I had her fix them. She was rude, sighing, letting my hand go roughly, it was just horrible. & mind you, I am very patient and most times don't even speak up when my nails are a bit off - this time it was just necessary for me to address it. 2. They brought me a glass of champagne and there were at least five flies roaming around my drink the entire time. I would try to blow them away as both of my hands were occupied but they wouldn't budge. Both nail artist were aware of the bugs, my attempts blow them away and neither of them helped me out. Once I started using my hands (stopping her work and accidentally getting lint on my nail from the pillow) that she annoyingly put a napkin on top of the drink. No one offered to replace the drink. At the end of the service, as I was gathering my stuff to leave, the nail artist asked me numerous times to finish the drink. I explained to her that there were flies on the rim of the cup my entire stay here and she was persistent and saying "but look there's nothing in the drink". That bothered me. 3. I tipped $10. and of course as soon as I said $10 the guy at the front desk immediately chuckled and started talking to that nail artist - as I was still infront of him. Clearly it was regarding my 'low tip' although I didn't underhand the language, sometimes you just know... $147 for such a terrible experience. Go elsewhere. read more

Service is very rough, it was 200.00 for gel x and a pedi. Nothing fancy, they didn't even bring the wine that came with it after asking 3 times. Ladies were nice but hard to communicate with.
