The manager should be ashamed. I'm upset to write this after being a loyal client for two years. During my most recent appointment, I asked the manager about the design pricing and raised concerns about cleanliness. The nail file used on me did not appear to be new, and I noticed debris and residue on the drill bits. When I asked about their sanitation practices, I felt my questions were met with defensiveness rather than clear answers. I paid for the service and even tipped my regular nail tech extra. Later, management told me I was no longer welcome back. (Management took zero accountability and said that this was a decision based upon my nail tech who I considered a friend and was even going to do my wedding nails..) I'm disappointed that raising concerns about something as important as hygiene ended my relationship with a salon I had supported for so long. I encourage prospective clients to look closely at whether fresh nail files and clean drill bits are being used and to ask questions if anything concerns them. This should have been a concern to fix not ban a client over.. very strange and unprofessional.

From the beginning, the experience felt uncomfortable. She was a little rough during my pedicure, and some of her comments came across as unnecessary and rude. For example, after she finished the French tip, she asked if I liked it. I told her yes and that it looked nice, and her response was, "It's very hard because your nails are so short." I'm not sure why that comment was necessary after I had already said I was happy with how they looked. Amanda also kept trying to get me to text her directly so she could have my phone number and make future appointments with me. I found that strange and uncomfortable. If I wanted to book with her again, I could simply make an appointment through the salon's normal booking system or website. The part that really bothered me happened after I left. Apparently there had been some miscommunication involving Amanda and another client who wanted to book with her that morning, and somewhere in the process the salon incorrectly charged me for my pedicure. After I had already left the salon, I received a call letting me know THEY had incorrectly charged me and that I still owed an additional $25. I said okay and agreed that I would come back to pay the difference. Not even 20 minutes later, they were calling me AGAIN asking me to come back. That was completely unprofessional to me. I had already agreed to return and pay the difference for a mistake that their establishment made. They didn't even give me a reasonable opportunity to come back before calling me again over $25. I was not refusing to pay, avoiding their calls, or telling them I wasn't coming back. I had literally just told them I would return. The person who called me, Tri, handled the situation in a way that I found extremely unprofessional. Mistakes happen, and I had no issue paying the correct amount. My issue is how I was treated after THEIR billing mistake. Once a customer has agreed to return and correct the difference, repeatedly calling them less than 20 minutes later is excessive and made me feel like I was being harassed over an error I didn't even make. Between the uncomfortable experience during my pedicure, Amanda trying to get me to communicate with her personally for future appointments, and especially the way the salon handled its own billing mistake afterward, this was an extremely disappointing first experience. I will not be returning to this establishment, and based on my experience today, I would not recommend it to my friends or family.

They have presto for gel color but it's not the thick one that is typically used at Japanese salons - I should've inquired about this when making my appointment. My nail technician Paula was very aggressive with drilling off my existing gel; I had to ask her to slow down several times because my nails were getting hot. She also did not soak my nails at all which I thought was unusual for gel removal. After my gel was completely drilled off she proceeded to apply an acrylic overlay to my nails (a service I didn't ask for) she told me that it was because my nails were "too thin for gel" - this was when I was informed that they don't have the presto gel base coat that is used at my other salon. I asked for simple sheer gel (they don't have sheer presto colors) with white French tip in the deep curve style (pictured below) and it came out really uneven and the sides of my nails were really messy. They also used some off brand top coat and told me they didn't have OPI or presto top coats which is weird considering they charge extra for presto or OPI but do not have all the necessary products to use them for the entirety of the service. In total this cost $57 without tip which I think is reasonable but I would honestly rather pay more to get what I act Other things: They offer 10% off if you pay with cash. They charge $5 for cutting down your existing, in my case natural nails

Cindy takes so many precautions to keep everyone safe during Covid. She works by herself and the landlord isn't giving anyone a break on the rent at all. So I love supporting her. Call first.. leave a message if she doesn't answer.. she is really good about returning calls. She will make an appointment for you and if you are on time, you can be sure your time isn't interrupted. Not fancy, cute salon, full of craft like touches, little plants, and figurines including lots of little gifts she has been given by her clients. Sweet place and Cindy knows what she is doing. At my first appointment, I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted. The technician never asked me what shape or length I wanted, and I ended up with nails that were completely different from the reference photo. I brought up my concerns that same day, but I was told the manager wasn't there and that there was nothing the staff could do at the time. The next time I came in, I explained everything to the manager. She told me they would correct my nails and make sure I was happy, so I agreed to have them redone. Based on that conversation, I believed they were going to make the situation right. Had I been told beforehand that there would be no adjustment whatsoever for correcting the previous service, I would have simply gone somewhere else. After my nails were redone, no price adjustment was made. On top of that, I noticed I was being overcharged by an additional $10 based on the price of the services I received. When I tried to address everything with the manager, she told me I should have complained on the day of my original appointment and that there was nothing she could do. I explained that I did complain that day, but her employees told me the manager wasn't there. At that point, I stopped disputing the original service and tried to explain that I would pay what they were asking, but that the bill for this visit was still $10 higher than it should have been. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a significant communication disconnect, and I ultimately paid the amount they requested and left. What bothers me most isn't simply that I didn't like my original nails. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen. It's how the situation was handled afterward. I brought up the problem immediately, returned after being told they would correct it and make me happy, and then was later told I should have said something on the original day when I had already done exactly that. I would have appreciated clear communication from the beginning. If I had known that their idea of "fixing" the situation meant I would still be responsible for the full cost with no adjustment, I would have taken my business elsewhere. The additional $10 overcharge on the second visit only made an already frustrating experience worse.

Well the tech didn't make it pointed and didn't check to ensure both hands were the same. In the photo, you can easily see difference in the lengths and the lack of a single point! This was after she tried to fix it after botching it initially. That's why they're so short. Then I got a new technical and she saw how off they were and "fixed" it. She didn't re-compare the nails and when it was all said and done...you can see they are still not similar in length. Also? The paint job was done poorly! There are bubbles and bumps in several nails. I went back in and showed the woman at the front desk and we scheduled to fix this come Monday as I'm heading out of town. This was gel! Overall - $55, $25 simple mani + $15 gel + $15 chrome effect Moving onto my pedicure, that technical was so rough. When she was pushing my cuticles back, she was doing too much. I flinched a few times but that didn't course correct. She didn't ask how I wanted my toes. I finally told her before the polish went on that I wanted them rounder. I got the signature pedicure, which was $50. It included a callus scrub. She scrubbed my feet pretty hard that I sustained a cut. So the only silver lining is they're willing to fix it. I would NOT come back after this trip.

She kept saying I had hard gel despite me explaining multiple times that it was regular gel and that I had gotten it done at this exact salon only 2 weeks ago. I've also only ever seen this particular employee doing pedicures, so the amount of uncertainty throughout the appointment made me question whether she was comfortable doing manicures. She then attempted to put gel back on my nails even after I had asked for regular polish. After I corrected that, she applied a regular base coat and stopped to have me pay before she would finish painting my nails. I paid for the manicure and removal, and then while she was finishing my polish, I was told I owed another $5 because apparently the removal I had already paid for only covered the 2 tips and not the gel. Worst of all, the finished manicure reflects the experience. My nails are jagged, uneven and rough to the touch, and the polish doesn't even reach my cuticles.
