Finally found my new nail salon! After switching to Gel-x, I had been looking for a new spot. The last two places I tried resulted in negative experiences, so I was honestly giving up hope, until I found Posh! I booked an appt the morning of for an afternoon slot. I was seated right away, water flowing in the foot bath. It wasn't too busy, and as a result, both my manicurist (who also happened to be the owner!) and my pedicure technician (Emi/Amy - not sure on the spelling) were able to take their time. Emi was so fun and gave an amazing massage - going to book her again next time for sure. Bonus points to the owner for putting on the World Cup game! Posh is located on Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa tucked in a corner of a small strip mall. Their sister salon is across the street, and they are able to easily serve their clients by sharing technicians and referring across locations as needed. Love how my manicure turned out and my experience overall. Excited for my next visit! read more

My experience was more of a 3.5. I went with my fiancé and we both got a pedicure which was really nice. The reason for my 3 star review: I asked for builder gel and got gel tips because I wanted to add some length. The shape was perfect BUT 8 out of 10 fingers have a gap between the tip and the ends of my nails. This is a perfect trap for dirt, food, etc. I filled the gaps myself when I got home because I didn't notice how bad it was until I left. The service was really good. The staff is really friendly. The salon was clean and comfy. I might give this place another shot but I'm not sure. read more

Hello, I recently received a pedicure. The nail technician who performed this pedicure is My. My is very friendly and accommodating to my requests. The salon is very clean and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere of the salon is very relaxing with soft music playing in the background. My was very attentive and did an excellent job of my pedicure. The rest of the salon staff are very nice and friendly. First time here. Parking lot is very small but I was able to find parking. Might be able to park on the street if needed (read the signs). Hannah was my nail tech and she did amazing! This is still my go-to nail salon. Hannah is always so kind and accommodating. They don't make you feel rushed in here either, which I think is important with today everything being go go go. I had such a relaxing time during my pedicure today. I went in on a Tuesday afternoon and it was just me and one other person and got seated right away. I got the aloe vera treatment and I was in heaven. Everything from the heated neck pillow to the wax to the aromatherapy was perfection. I've never been more relaxed at a salon. I wanted a super thin french tip and after asking for adjustments, they brought in another nail tech to help and I love that my lady was honest about what she was good at and wasn't. Ya'll, I think I'm just going to keep trying the fancier pedicures from this place because this one was somehow even better than the last (and that was such a high bar!!) This time I tried the Sakura Collagen Blossom Pedicure and got gel polish added. It was a complete sensory journey, a little getaway, like I genuinely lost track of time and melted into my chair. I was on the edge of falling asleep the entire service because I was so relaxed! The herbal foot soak started the experience off immediately relaxing me, and that cherry blossom scrub? I need that scent on me every day. I don't know if this is even the best way to describe it, but I felt so clean and so renewed? Never have I felt like this from a pedicure, and I'm both in shock and impressed. This little luxury is a need for a short escape! You know what else is just an absolute luxury? Not feeling rushed, and the ladies here really make you feel like there's no hurry at all in their service and just strive to take care of you. One of the unexpected highlights for me was the warm neck pillow. Never knew aromatherapy can carry an experience so far. I had no idea how that little touch could change the entire service. The paraffin wax treatment and the 20 minute massage had me sinking into the chair, and the final touch of cherry blossom essential oil made me feel so luxurious. If you're like me, sometimes oils feel too heavy, but this was perfect all day and I smelled soooo good! It genuinely felt like a I left a whole spa retreat from this pedicure. It's slightly pricier than a regular spa pedicure, but I found it to be very involved and absolutely worth the price for what you get. If you're always on the go like I am and crave some little luxuries or pampering, just try this service. I'm already texting my mom about bringing her sometime soon to try it too! This place just opened up 2 months ago in Costa Mesa right off the 55 freeway. It's a very cute, clean salon with talented staff, that provides great service. I tried the "relax pedicure" with Hannah and felt so pampered once I was done. It's pretty much a classic pedicure that includes a sugar scrub, mask, 10-min foot & leg massage. You can pay a little extra if you want gel instead of regular polish. Cindy did my manicure and was super detailed and made sure all my coats were even. Sometimes it can be tough to do sheer polishes, without it looking uneven or thick. I highly recommend her! Overall the chairs were comfy, all have controls for massages. They have a good variety of colors too. This salon is located right by the Great Mex restaurant. Everything is reasonably priced and they do a great job! read more

Came to Posh Nail Bar with my sister and my boyfriend and we all had such a great experience! We got the specialty pedicures (aloe vera and rock pedicure) and they were incredibly relaxing, definitely worth it. A special thank you to Helen, My, and Amy, their service was truly impeccable. Posh Nail Bar NEVER fails. I went from getting a pedicure every 1-2 years at random places to now having been to this place at least 3 times in the past year for my pedicures. I've never been to a place where they are more gentle, kind, and careful. Music is always soothing and the vibe is SO perfect for refreshing your soul. I used to hate pedicures because other places would cut or hurt me, leading to infections. But I tried Posh and I'm never going anywhere else! Hannah did my gel pedicure today and it was AMAZING. She's so gentle, attentive, and always so smiley. I got a level above the basic pedi plus gel, and still less than $60! I want EVERYONE to go try Posh Nail Bar! No gatekeeping here. Personable, professional and took care of the area well. I will definitely go back to her when I make another appointment.

During the pedicure he agreed that I didn't have calluses. Every color I picked from the OPI binder they didn't have. It took three attempts to get a color they actually had. The shape of my nails turned out nice but the gel was very lumpy and that was what upset me the most. Either the staff did a poor job or the polish was not good.

Everyone that works there is so kind, the employees are friendly and helpful. Pricing is competitive for the area and the VIP treatments are absolutely worth it every now and again, although I typically stick with the basic gel pedi. Chairs are comfortable, beverages are complimentary and offered on seating, and the herbs they use for teas and soaks smell incredible. Finding a good nail salon is always a stressful task. Happy to find a place I can count on.

I went to this location looking for a pedicure as well as an acrylic set for my toes back in March. This was for my birthday so I had saved plenty of money to give myself a treat. When I arrive and asked for both services I was told that adding a pedicure would cost a lot of money. It felt like they were trying to covince me not to ask for a pedicure. I had plenty plus tip to give and I dont believe the employee has any right to deny that service if I can pay for it. I felt embarrassed that she said that to me. I never got the pedicure even though I asked for it several times. A lady named MY I believe did the set on my toes and left a toe crooked but I was so upset I just wanted to leave. Very relaxing experience! Went for the pedicure as I saw such great reviews, and it did not disappoint! The spa is very clean and well maintained, so it instantly eases you when you walk in. Staff are so personable, kind and professional - they really take their time to pamper you. The treatment itself left was thorough, with well curated scents and multi step treatment, and really eased the tension in my feet (and whole body).
