Update: I initially posted the review below which I will leave unedited as I feel it is an accurate account of my experience. I am raising my review from 2 to 4 stars as the owner immediately called me to apologize for the negative experience and nail damage. That carries a lot of weight with me. He sent me a gift card for a manicure as well. I appreciated his caring response. Original review: The technician who did my pedicure was lovely and did an excellent job which is why I am not rating one star. I came in as a walk in on a busy day. I let them know I appreciated them taking me last minute...but after my experience I would have preferred to have tried somewhere else instead. Tammy did my manicure and scolded me twice for not making an appointment, made my cuticle bleed then told me twice I have such dry skin (I don't have dry skin...she just cut me). She seemed annoyed that I didn't want gel. My nails are really healthy and I prefer to leave them bare most of the time. The worst part is whatever she did to buff my nails left deep scratches and ruined them. I have never had this experience before with a regular manicure. See photos. I realize this could have been an off day but it's not ok to treat your customers like an inconvenience, nor should she have damaged my nails. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. I told the tech multiple times that I didn't want her to keep digging at my toe with the cuticle clipper, but she continued anyway and kept explaining why she needed to, even though my toe was already tender and red--it possibly even bled. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I had to keep reminding her because she kept getting carried away.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And I initially had no issues with my mani until I noticed the nail shaping was only good on one hand and the other looked rushed and super uneven. Then I have to point out that the top coat they used for regular polish also ended up ruining both my mani and pedi. Waste of time and money. I'm usually not overly picky, but after this visit, I definitely won't be returning. 2 stars only because the pedi chairs looked pretty well maintained. read more

I was going to be in the area for my chiro appointment so booked a mani and pedi nearby and this location fit that need. The positive reviews were also promising and prices were rather inexpensive compared to other salons I considered. I arrived early and after a few minutes, they were able to seat me. Very clean and super busy already at 9:45am. Decent selection of colors. The reason for -3 stars is for several reasons. We started off ok but as soon as she cut my second toe nail, she actually cut my toe. Not the cuticle which is easier to recover from but the actual flesh 1/4" away from my nail. I've had rough pedicures before and got nicked on my cuticle however, this was a first. Instant pain not 5 minutes in is really a bad sign. Moving on to my mani - they were unable to do a simple "SC" design on 1 nail for me because it wasn't a gel mani although they said regular mani means my nail has to be dry. Fine, could've just waited 10 minutes for that to happen but they didn't seem to want to do that for me so I just ditched the idea although this was for my graduation tonight and SC is my school. She moved through my mani rather quickly and didn't bother to push my cuticles back so it looks pretty jagged, particularly on my thumbs. She also decided to not cover the edges of my nails and it was quite glaring on the left thumb. I asked her to add a little bit more to fix and she begrudgingly did so but it's still not completely covered. At this point, I'm quite annoyed and as my nails were drying, I noticed that this was also the case for at least 5 other fingers and 1 toe. One thing to note: they spend a lot of time on regulars so if you happen to be a first timer like myself/non-regular, this could impact the type of service you get. At least this is from my experience. Case and point, she leaves in the middle of cutting my cuticles to go clean a station diagonally across from me. Like, ok. By the way, I still tipped although it didn't feel deserved. read more
