Love it here and appreciate the extensive wine by the glass selection but I cannot drink another glass of red wine here that is overly warm. When room temp wine is served from bottles sitting on the bar in 80 degree weather the wine is way too warm. I would expect better from a wine bar. Service is always good. read more

The service was quick. They were busy but we were seated immediately. They accommodated to sit us on the roof. The vibe was amazing catching the sunset. The table shared the Summer Goat Cheese. Which if you're a fan of goat cheese is absolutely delightful. The Hot Roast Beef Brisket Sandwich which came with the perfect au jus. And the Sautéed Crab Cake Sandwich which were quickly my favorite of the night. read more

Great atmosphere and brunch menu. Plenty of outdoor seating, but it was just too hot today. Eggs your way was great choice, served with bacon, English muffin, fresh fruit and delightful potato frites. My daughter and I also shared a bottle of Rose, and a fabulous apple crepe. We were never rushed and enjoyed a leisure Sunday brunch. read more

This is hopping place on Saturday evening and I was glad we could grab a seat at that bar. We were only interested in a glass of wine and grabbing an appetizer. We really enjoyed the smoked trout which served with capers and toasted bread. Their wine selection was very good as well. Prices are a little high but at least we thoroughly enjoyed our order. Cute place with ability to open up to the outside and rooftop patio too. read more

The food was excellent except gluten pita was given to the person asking for gluten free pita. The table was recorded to be gluten free. The server purposely asked and handed what was to be gluten free pita to the person whose body could not tolerate gluten. At the end of the meal it was figured out the incorrect pita was given to her. It certainly ruined the evening of going to dinner and the Fox. Now four days later, numerous meds and prescriptions and costs, recovery is beginning for her. Thanks for offering not to charge us for the pita and hummus. Servers do not understand the damage that is done when food is given incorrectly. Unfortunately we can't consider coming back to Sasha's or commenting Sasha's. Dietary training could be helpful. read more

I went here with a few friends last night for drinks and appetizers. The hummus and sangria were both very tasty! They were also accommodating to our group of 5 by pushing two small tables together. The reason that Sasha's did not get a higher rating in my opinion was the service. It was pretty slow and I even had to seek out the server myself at one point. The food was also pretty pricey. read more

Food is terrible. All prep prepared and heated on microwave II'm pretty sure. We ordered two old fashioned drinks very watered-down, poorly done and 30 bucks! Do not recommend! read more

Sasha's is one of the cutest restaurants in Clayton. From the outdoor patio in front to the upstairs areas it's hard to beat the cozy atmosphere! The food doesn't disappoint either. This trip I tried the Brie BLT sandwich with a cup of chicken corn chowder. The flavor of both were amazing. I've tried their pizza before and it's good but this soup and sandwich beat that hands down ! My friend tried their hummus platter and it's always a hit. I ordered their carrot cake to bring home. Nothing extraordinary but it's good. Overall even if the food wasn't the best you wouldn't be disappointed with the feel of the restaurant but the food is great too so you can't go wrong! read more

Four of us enjoyed a midweek lunch after seeing an exhibit at SLAM. All entrees were shared with relish - pizza, paninis, chopped salad, and wine. Eco-friendly carryout containers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, AND convenient parking. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 read more

As a Wine Bar, this place is wonderful! The atmosphere and lighting, the outdoor seating, the libation selection..all tops! For my beverage, I ordered a Pinot Noir, I assume the House version as I didn't really look at the menu. Either way, it was very enjoyable. As a meal, as opted for the Brie BLT, which was amazing. The creaminess of the Brie with the crispy Bacon had great flavor together. The sourdough bread was toasted very well and held up the sandwich perfectly. For covid measures, they have clear plastic dividers up between each dining table, very safe. A wonderful evening! read more

Nice little place off the beaten path. I decided to partake in the sweetest moscato and it was just like drinking juice!!! Delish!!!! I also tried the cheese pizza and loved it! Great spot for two or very small group! read more

The bartender she was so rude to me and the rest of my group. We ordered a few green tea shots, and I ordered a dirty martini. It was just vodka. I tried to order olive juice to make it better and they got mad at me. Our server was rude when we tried to order shots. read more

Came here with my mom after hearing great things about it and it did not disappoint. We came early on a Saturday and were able to sit on the rooftop, which was great. They have lots of outdoor seating which is a huge plus. They have an extensive wine/drink menu; we got an aperol spritz and a Riesling. We decided to split a couple small plates, so we did the dorchester cheese board, the bruschetta, and the crab cakes. They were all delicious! We can't wait to come back. read more

Such a lovely place! We were able to sit outside with one of the heaters right near us, which was really nice to keep us from getting cold. We ordered a bottle of wine, which was nice that they let us taste before committing. We got the pursuit of flatbread and one of the cheese boards. There is two of us, and that was plenty of food for both of us to share. The bills little pricey as the foods a little bit more expensive. Really nice evening really nice time. Definitely not somewhere. You would want to go all the time unless you have the money for it but once in a while, this is a great place. Will definitely come back again as our waiter was also really kind patient and full of information. read more

My friends and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and just chilled outside. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered some glasses of wine and I got the meat and cheese tray (I can't remember the name). This was very good it had a good variety of cheeses and meats. I will say it was small so don't plan on a big board if you want to order this. It was a nice place and all the doors were open since it was a nice day. We really enjoyed hanging out on a Sunday here! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The staff is great! They are super friendly, and they remember you! I LOVE their brunch, and their healthy food choices! My favorite dish is the asparagus, crab, and avocado salad! So good, so healthy! The wine is also fantastic! They have an extensive wine collection and knowledgeable sommeliers. The crab eggs Benedict is brunch heaven, and the upstairs patio, indoor, or outdoor patios...no matter where you sit, you can't lose! read more

Great food and ambiance - especially in milder weather when you can sit outside and enjoy the evening! Lovely wine selection, knowledgeable staff, and a strong set of options for snacking or dining. Came for drinks with two of my good friends. They have a nice wine selection and good atmosphere! We enjoyed the area. The rosé I originally wanted was out of stock, but the replacement they brought was still very good! Also you can order half glasses! I like that, because I usually can't finish a whole glass. Also it would allow someone to try more varieties of wine! Note that they do not have a cocktail menu. They do have sangria and they have various spirits, so they could make a simple cocktail but they don't have any unique signature drinks. They don't really do happy hour specials either (at least not that I'm aware of and definitely not on Saturday) read more

Loved the atmosphere inside (dark, cozy, upscale). Had iPads for the menus. The service wasn't super friendly. Our server seemed annoyed with us. 6 girls on a Saturday night and we sat at the bar bc there were no tables. Then when a table got up we moved. (I get it we were those people). But it was way easier to talk to another. Drinks and food was delicious. I got the small Greek salad and it was a good size for the price $8.99. Reservations only taken for 8+ parties. read more

It was amazing!! The steak was so tender and I got the flatbread which was great! A bit noisy but honestly I would go again no problems!

First time trying this place and overall met by satisfaction. Parking is pretty tight even while going mid day of a weekday. The ambiance was great and very well lit. The restaurant wasn't too busy so service was pretty fast and accommodating! For food I ended up getting a Greek salad with a smoked salmon and some homemade tater Tots. Everything met my expectations as the food had tons of flavor. First time trying this place and overall met by satisfaction. Parking is pretty tight even while going mid day of a weekday. I came here on a Tuesday with a friend for a girls night out. The place was packed but we didn't have to wait long for a table after grabbing our first drink at the bar. I wish we would have just stayed at the bar since the bartender was very nice and helpful. Our waiter on the other hand seemed annoyed and impatient every time he came to our table. I asked for the same wine we had at the bar and he abruptly said they don't serve that variety. I told him we just had it and he eventually came back and said "I guess we do have that" and gave us each a glass even though I was the only one who ordered it. My friend didn't want to tell him she had wanted something else. We asked for a menu later and he seemed annoyed again. We ended up asking the table next to us for cheese board and drink recommendations to avoid asking our waiter. Everything we ate and drank was really good and we still had a nice time. I know the service industry is under so much stress so I'm always very nice and tip well. Even if you're busy I don't mind waiting it's just nice to have the same kindness back. read more

Love this wine bar! It is super cute snd cozy. There are seats outdoors and indoors - though the outdoor ones are hard to get. Lots of space heaters outdoors and great for people watching. Solid lunch! Vibe is not as fun in the winter I'm sure, but I think Scarlett's/Shaw might be a little more inviting. The service was not very friendly, kind of seemed like we were bothering her by being there. Smoked salmon was very good app! It's been a minute since my visit to Sasha's but I didn't want to sleep on giving them some five star love. As soon as my plane touched down in St. Louis this past November, I knew exactly where I was headed for lunch. I had been to Sasha's sister restaurant, Scarlett's, on a prior visit, and had briefly taken a peek at Sasha's while in the area for coffee. It's super cute and cozy and perfect for lunch on a weekday. There were people enjoying lunch with friends, lunch meetings, and a couple people working on their laptops over a glass of wine. I was famished and ordered a pepperoni pizza, while my husband ordered something much more sensible and appropriately sized, as usual (I can't remember what he ordered; I was clearly too busy with my pizza). Said pizza was delicious and hit the spot. The crust was thin and crunchy and the toppings were generous. I enjoyed several glasses of wine with my meal, as well. Sasha's definitely has a really bountiful selection for every palate. Also, the bartender, who I recognized from my quick stop in with a friend on my last trip, was also our server and she was really knowledgeable about the wine selection and provided great service throughout. I'd definitely be a Sasha's regular if I lived in St. Louis! read more

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner (45 people) and welcome party (80 people) at Sasha's on the rooftop patio, and I couldn't be more impressed with how everything turned out. Bri, the events coordinator, was responsive and incredibly helpful in bringing our vision to life. The service throughout the night was exceptional, and the entire team was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly special. A big thank you to the entire Sasha's team for everything! read more

We stopped into Sasha's before heading to The FOX downtown. The atmosphere is immediately inviting and relaxing. We were seated quickly. Our server seemed frustrated with our drink order (perhaps because of our lack or wine drinkers). Nevertheless the beer (cans), cocktails, and wine were satisfactory. We tried the margherita pizza, which was less traditional than expected. A healthy topping of shredded mozzarella, did provide a filling dish. We hope to come back and lean into the specialties a bit more. read more

Today's experience left me a little hot under the collar. Although I am still a fan of Sasha's delicious salmon & trout crepe, trendy decor, extensive wine selections and it's gorgeous Demun location....the service has got to be better! The same flamboyant (bold) bartender/server who waited on me my previous visit waited on me today as well. He does not say "hello", he does not say "goodbye", he does not say "thank you", he does not ask if "everything is alright", he does not inquire if you "need anything else". In short he does nothing aside from place the order and deliver it to the table. This could be a personal experience; I did notice he was a bit more social with other patrons on both occasions. I'm not certain if they are regulars, friends or just the right color. Whatever the case it made me extremely uncomfortable. I enjoyed my crepe and even though I wanted to ask for other items I refrained from calling him over to make any additional requests. After dropping my food off he never returned. I even had to get up to ask him for my check. Then I had to get up to give him the check so I could finalize my stay and carry on with my day. The next time I visit this Sasha's location; if I decide to visit again at all, I'm running for my life if this guy is working. It's a shame for such a great spot to have left such a bad taste in my mouth. Service over everything! ~Christy read more

So yes this is a Wine bar, but this is sooo underrated for brunch in the Clayton area. The menu isn't large, but I loved loved the brioche french toast. The coffee is from Kaldi's (since it is right next door). I think it's a little odd to have Ipads as Menu when you can't click on it and order and then you get your bill on the Ipad. I thought the whole point of using technology is to save on paper and speed things up. So for me, the idea is cool - but it kind of missed the mark for a purpose vs. show. But I think I need to and have to come back for the wine flight, cheese, etc. The service was great and they did have a parking lot in this demun neighborhood. read more

After hearing rumors about how amazing brunch is at Sasha's, my roommate and I decided to walk down the street to try it out ourselves this morning. I was expecting it to be ridiculously crowded, but much to my pleasure, there were only 2-3 tables of people eating! Huge sigh of relief, because I wanted it to be the quaint little neighborhood spot I know it is, but if you've ever seen it at 10pm on a Friday night... you know why I was scared. I'm pretty sure the bartender/server was still drunk from the night before, but it's all good. He came over and opened with this line: you girls want some water, or you wanna get DRUNK? I kind of laughed and asked him if there was a happy medium, so we ended up with a drink each. I had a mimosa and my roommate had a hand-crafted Bloody Mary which she was VERY happy with. I knew what I wanted the minute I looked at the menu -- eggs benedict. Pictures are posted of it as well as my roommates french toast, but really, I've never had eggs benedict that incredible. I will be going back for that many, many times. The hollandaise was perfectly done, crispy bacon was on the plate along with a spread of fruit, and this potato pancake that looks insignificant but really is anything but. Request an extra of that. Sasha's is NOT just a wine bar... this brunch might fall into my top five brunches of all time. Go try it for yourself and invite me! read more

- This evening, my boyfriend and I came to Sasha's for an after-dinner cocktail, as we've done many times in the past. We are both in the service industry, as well. Our last experience, was 10/10. Bri took care of us that evening, and was wonderful. Tonight, a taller man with glasses and a mustache, accompanied by a younger blonde female were tending the bar. We got two beers, and a glass of wine to share, and that's the entire interaction. These two could not care less about our drink levels (low/empty), conversation (none), nor did they look our direction a single time to know that our card was on the bar, as we'd been patiently waiting for an extended period of time. Keep in mind, there are three other individuals at the bar. That seems pretty inexcusable. Bri received over 50% gratuity on a $150 bill, while these two received 0%. We love Sasha's, but won't be back anytime soon. read more

This is a very mellow wine bar with excellent smoked trout, charcuterie board with duck pate and cold cuts. We will be back.

I will keep this brief. I had never been to this location of Sasha's (I've been to the Shaw location and loved it there), and was in the neighborhood on Saturday afternoon and chose to stop by for a quick bite. From the beginning, I was displeased with the service. I was by myself and the hostess rudely and loudly broadcasted this to other staff while I was standing right there waiting to be seated. She seemed bothered that I was there. Even though there were multiple empty tables on the ground level, she wanted to make me go upstairs. I asked if I could sit on the ground level of the patio and luckily I was accommodated. She told me that I would have to cover my face whenever a server came to my table. I had not seen that policy at any other restaurants in town but accepted it. Unfortunately, I noticed that NO OTHER TABLE was being enforced to do this other than me. No one. And there were multiple large groups with frequent service trips and interactions, and no one was ever asked to do this. I had the bare minimum of service interactions as I only got one food item and one glass of wine. I was so disgusted with this overall experience that I ate half of my flatbread, got a box for the rest, chugged my glass of wine, and left within 40 minutes. Yes, the margarita flatbread was very good, and so was the wine, but with service like this, I'd rather not return. read more
