Caesar salad with fried chicken.
Sheri W.

Brought family so there were quite a variety of dishes ordered. The Ribeye steak was ok, but they left the silver skin on it which makes it tougher to cut and chew. The flavor was good, but you could tell the meat was middling quality. I had a taco salad with grilled salmon which was good and moist. Salmon had good flavor, it was not overly seasoned. I wish they had used some other types of lettuce rather than iceberg. The others had a Sirloin steak, which didn't look great to me. It looked like a chopped steak. Another had a New York Strip. One thing that I did notice that was unacceptable, was one of the side orders, was cinnamon apples. Served a bowl of apple pie filling with 3 very small apple slices. This is laziness on the part of the kitchen! For the prices, I expect better. Service was adequate.

We got sat in a booth immediately. The ambience is nice. It's a dimly lit elevated but casual place. You could go dressed up or you could go in jeans. The menus is smaller but offers steaks, chicken, fish and lamb. We got two appetizers, one entrée, one dessert, and four drinks. Let's talk about it. Cocktails- 10/10 I had the Velvet Veil & my husband had the Peach Blush. They were so good that we had a second round. They have few other unique cocktails and a large beer and alcohol list. Tuna tartare- 10/10. It comes with wonton chips and honestly, you don't even need them. The tartare by itself is so delicious. We will go back just for this and a cocktail. Lobster bisque- 8/10 a bit spicy which seemed odd but good lobster flavor For our main, we split the lamb chops with a side of fried Brussels and also mashed potatoes. Lamb chops- 10/10 there were 6 chops so we each got 3. They were drizzled with a beautiful mint sauce and a sweet demi glaze, not too sweet. Garlic whipped potatoes- 10/10 you gotta like garlic and chives. But it isn't overwhelming. Brussels-10/10. They were on the sweeter side too and some of the best I have ever had. Bread pudding- 10/10. We have a hard time fining a bread pudding without bananas or raisins, as we don't like them, and this one does not have them. Simple and delicious! Overall we really enjoyed it. We felt like we got an elevated steakhouse experience without spending a ton of money. The prices are fair, the wait staff is wonderful, the ambience is perfect. We will definitely be going back.

We especially enjoy LeLe the manager and Desiree who is one of the head hostesses and bartender. Both of them treat our family like family and the food portions are very generous compared to most restaurants. Their mango salmon and ribeye is absolutely the best. The baked potatoes are large and have that baked texture which is rare nowadays. Their rice is delicious and it's like you get a third side when there's no charge for the rice at all. The broccoli is usually cooked to perfection and never overdone. And I can't say enough good things about the rolls! It's like my mom's homemade bread again when I was a little girl. Thank you LeLe and Desiree! We live down the street and it literally is like having a home away from home when we are hungry. Great job and a round of applause to you both!

Most bison burgers are frozen or premade, however this one was clearly fresh and impressively sized at 1/2 pound. The service was also very good and the prices sure beat Phoenix. The atmosphere definitely has a charm to it, with a great fine dining atmosphere and very professional staff. To start, we went with the arancini, a favorite of ours. I would say it could not have been better and definitely had delicious texture and flavor. For sides, we shared the truffle mashed potatoes and the roasted carrots. Both cooked to perfection and I especially loved the truffle mashed potatoes. For my entree, I had the seabass and it had a wonderful crispy sear on the outside with the fish overall being cooked perfectly. I also loved the flavors of the additional components to the dish. My wife had the NY Strip and also very much loved it. She has a pretty high bar when it comes to steaks so definitely high praise! Much appreciation to The Hemingway for such a great experience all around!

We had the crab cakes as an appetizer and they were fine. A surprisingly spicy sauce came with them that really added a punch. The steak was fine. It was cooked correctly. It was nothing special. We had mushrooms and hassle back potatoes as sides, and they were terrible. I have had better potatoes from a box. The mushrooms tasted like vinegar. The cheesecake was delicious without the rhubarb compote. The compote was just a layer of sour on top of lemon flavored cheesecake. (Totally unnecessary) I will not go back unless it is to just hang out and drink wine in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
