Our second time to eat at Texas de Brazil - we go about once a year - very expensive but extremely good. ADVICE: 1) Skip the salad bar. It's an amazing salad bar but trust me, save room for the good stuff! 2) Ask for the bacon-wrapped filet. In both of our experiences here, it was difficult to get. I would spot a server with a skewer of it across the restaurant and he wouldn't make it far before running out. Tell your server that you want it. 3) Occasionally take a bite of the cinnamon and honey banana to cleanse the pallet. Did you try something spicy and need to start over? Small bite of banana. 4) Save room and money for desert! The service was pretty good and the atmosphere is simple - just a lot of families and friends enjoying amazing food. The manager stopped by early on and welcomed us, was very friendly, and made sure we got what we needed.

Tonight, I had delivered a churrasco plate and Brazillian cheesecake. The churrasco plate came with 2 meats - I chose Brazillian sausage and ribs- and two sides - I chose garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms. The meats tasted delicious, the sausage was full of flavor and very tender and juicy, the ribs were overcooked, tough but had a pretty good flavor as well. The garlic mashed potatoes seem a little under-seasoned, but I prefer that when it comes to garlic. The sautéed mushrooms were swimming in what I think was soy sauce. It tasted nice, but there was too much sauce for me. And cheesecake was creamy and delicious, more dense than I am used to, but I loved it. What I didn't love were the nuts on it. I didn't know they were on the cheesecake, and I didn't really like them; Having said that, they were a small part of an overall delicious cheesecake. I definitely recommend this place and will eat here again.

First requirement is to enter the doors super hungry! Love the ambiance inside. Lots of clean lines, massive light fixtures, beautiful flower arrangement over the salad bar, beefy tall doors, lots of seating, nice lighting, candles....it's pretty unique and beautiful inside. Napkin over lap kind of place but open dress code so not too stuffy feeling. We ordered the salad bar & meat. Basically you're free to go to the salad bar which is loaded with unique items, charcuteries, soup of the day, some hot items, some cold - very wide variety of upscale unique items. After you return to your table, staff walks all kinds of meats by and they'll plate it for you table side. Lots of desert items, all looked delicious - we tried the bananas foster and Brazilian cheesecake and both were awesome. They even wrote on the plates for the holidays we were celebrating - bonus! Only negative things were the pork seemed a bit over cooked & they had no beer on tap. We then ordered a Brazilian bottled beer but they were all out. Both things that are easily overlooked based on how amazing everything else was. They did have a large assortment of cocktails, wines, etc. Next time, I will try one of those for sure! We enjoyed this unique dining experience & we will definitely be back!

I came with colleagues after church and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was delicious. We ate so much and didn't get a chance to eat desert there. Great service I highly recommend to everyone to come and dine here. The white rice and beans was absolutely amazing.

So much better than the current experience is in my opinion. Also, it used to cost $100 a person instead of $50.

Happened to be our 28th wedding anniversary, and didn't have reservations, but were able to be seated immediately at the bar, with Brook(e)? as our bartender. First, the outdoor alley entrance is fun/non-assuming. Once in, the decor is moody and perfectly dark/speak-easy-ish, much like a private underground club. Very impressive. We had cocktails/wine and ordered the Wedge Salad and the Ceaser Salad. Both were amazing, but my husband stated that the Ceaser was the best he had ever had. My Wedge Salad had bountiful amounts of flavorful blue cheese and amazing bacon chunks that made this the best salad I had ever had. We then ordered the petite filet (Medium) and Brussel sprouts and put a chocolate cake on order "to go". Highly recommend all of the above. The chocolate cake is "go big or go home" for sure. It hardly fit in two combined to go boxes. It was chocolatey, not overly dense, and the frosting complimented it perfectly! We cannot give enough high praise to Brook for the recommendations and for just making it a super fun vibe. I would gladly book a flight from San Diego just to go to dinner again at this place! The Picanha sandwich is probably one of the best sandwiches we've ever had! It comes with steak fries, which were also very tasty! You could tell right away that the service was top notch (thank you Blaze and Blake) and it persisted throughout the meal. For example, they knew we were celebrating my birthday and already had a birthday card on the table and they also delighted us with a small gift - very thoughtful. We ordered a couple of things to share: fried calamari, roasted beets, baked potato, mushroom risotto and a prime ribeye. The fried calamari was good and the mango sauce that accompanied it, elevated it to another level. The roasted beets were delicious with the goat cheese and sauce. The fully loaded baked spud was good, but nothing special. The risotto was decent, but we did think it was slightly heavy on the salt and I think it's because they salted in the risotto and also the cheese on top also added additional salt as well, so just a heads up. I typically order my ribeye medium rare and wow, it was absolutely perfect. It was seasoned very well and the meat was tender and juicy. 10/10. I also had an old fashioned on the side, which was very good as well. The other thing I wanted to mention was that the GM walked around and made sure all the patrons were having a great experience, which is something you do not see often and I highly appreciated that. We will return for sure.

We ordered drinks (Moscow Mule and Sapphire and Tonic), Shrimp Cocktail, and I got the Lobster Bisque. Drinks were great, shrimp cocktail was delicious (the fresh shaved horseradish was great! Reminded me of St Elmo Steakhouse in Indianapolis), and the lobster bisque was very good. We ended up both ordering the Filet since they were out of the NY Strip. We got the Sautéed Button Mushrooms and Chive Whipped Potatoes on the side. Steaks came out, both had a significant grey band, ordered medium rare but these were on the medium side. Pretty good sear, the best bites were the pink center. The Button Mushrooms were very good! Meaty and dense with great flavor. Chive Whipped Potatoes came out at room temp, the first scoop we got was fine, after that they were pretty cold. We saw our waiter 2 times once our meal came out. She had another table behind us that was being obnoxious, so I understand. We waited another 15 minutes until another waiter showed up to pick up our plates and go over the desert menu. We got a cake to go and paid the bill. No bags to take your boxes out with. Ambiance was a weird mix. We dressed nice, there were a few tables similar. There was a couple at a table near us, the man was wearing a hat that just said "F*CK" on it. We also got to see his underwear when he was constantly getting up and dropping his napkin in the walkway. We had a hard time figuring out what the mood was. Other tables were served their silverware (steak knife/soup spoons) off a platter, while ours came in our waiters hand. 6/10 feels accurate of our experience. Maybe because we had to wait until the day after Valentines. Not the complete experience either of us were expecting for the cost of the meal

The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way.
