I thought I already did a review, but maybe not! I am not an empanada connoisseur, but I have had my share around Tulsa. I really enjoy these because they are unique and so fresh! So many fillings to choose. Everyone is so kind here and get you what you like. The food is made to order and they are always efficient. They recently expanded so now there is plenty of space to sit inside (or outside if weather permits). Very clean and modern feel. The bar is stocked and they have a bartender that is formulating signature cocktails. I cannot wait to return!

Had an hour before meeting up with friends and decided to stop in one of my fav downtown spots! Their entire menu is delicious but the arroz con pollo is still the go-to every time! It's so good - I can never remember to take a picture before digging in... hence the halfway enjoyed pic this time. Make sure to allow yourself the time needed to enjoy it - cook times will be longer than most are used to, but the quality that is delivered makes it worth it! If you are on a time crunch, then make sure to order ahead online or call for pickup! I'll often get it for carry out, make the commute to my office on the other side of downtown and it will still be warm (plantains do a great job of holding the heat). Along with their tried and proven regular menu, they also have great seasonal selections and delicious desserts in their case. Various drinks are available in their cases, along with the fountain sodas. However, their fresh juices of the day are always going to be a refreshing and delicious choice! On top of having a wonderful menu, as well as a kind and welcoming staff, they also are very health and environmentally conscious - so if you're a fan of eco-friendly dining that is also still functional, they've got you covered. They've also been a great option for visitors with dietary concerns and allergies. A favorite for years, Que Gusto starts at the top of my recommendations and personal favorites. No matter what you go looking for when you enter, chances are you'll leave full, satisfied, and in a good mood!

Ok on this visit I took a few pics. Delicious as expected. Beef empanada on point perfection, a fresh tasty salad & the sweetest plantains. The service was wonderful and fast. Establishment was very clean and well stocked with foods and drinks.

The food was good, the yuca fries especially were delicious. I really like their menu, there are a few great variations on some basic Latin dishes. It was, however, disappointing to have to wait half an hour past when the website told me to arrive to pick up my order, making my total wait time after paying one hour.

Que Gusto is a lovely little Ecuadorian spot that serves homemade empanadas and warm plates along with their fresh arepas. I got arroz con pollo and an arepa since it was my first time trying this place out. The girl working the register was super sweet & patient with me while suggesting what to add to the arepa (mayo chicken & avocado) and food was served rather quickly. I have been telling some friends about this place in hopes they will get to enjoy a delicious plate like I did. Also, this is just a block or two away from Guthrie Green which is nice if you need a filling small bite or plate nearby. Ps. I may be biased because I could eat plátano every day of my life - I love it that much lol.

This location has street parking only. The location is small with maybe 5-6 tables inside and an outside covered patio. I love that there was a gluten free option but be prepared to wait 17 minutes for it come out (they will tell you when you order). The yucca fries with the chipotle mayo were so good. The gluten free is thick like a pie but still good. I wish there was a no cheese option. It was quick to order even though there wasn't a formal line and people were checking in who had ordered so it was a little confusing to determine who had ordered and who needed to order.

They serve wine as well. Great place to relax and eat comfort food.

Walked into the place to buy water and the smell of the food hit my nose and I was ready to try everything on the menu. Amazing service the staff was friendly and kind. Will be one of my new spots in Tulsa.

    Vegan empanada
    Monique' M.

Ordered the vegan empanada and dulce de leches cookie. The preparation time was way too long, considering only one item needed to be cooked. Despite the wait, the empanada was excellent. I didn't even need to use the accompanying sauce. The dulce de leches cookie was just okay. I would definitely return for the empanadas and preorder over the phone for pickup.

We ate at their current temporary location. Overall, the food was good, but I was very disappointed with the chicken in the Arroz con Pollo, which was extremely dry. I gave most of the meat to my husband, and he agreed that is was not good. A bit disappointed because eating at their original smaller location was excellent in every way. We did not like eating with the recycle-type forks, knives. You could taste the material they were made of.

This is such a cute spot in the heart of Tulsa's Greenwood district. Wonderful spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you're looking for Latin delights! Empanadas - check. Tres leches - check. The space was clean and employees had a smile. Sorry folks, that really is the baseline. I have no interest in going to a place that's dirty and the employees are unfriendly.

The empanadas are good, but the wait was tremendous and there is limited seating inside, but they do have outdoor patio seating. This is next to Lone Wolf. But - it's the only game in town to get your fix, so I will wait. It's nice that they have vegan filled empanadas. They are relatively big vs a small empanada app. Think hand pie sizes and Midwest portions. I think I'll go back for some of the other side dishes. Also - Friday/Saturday = ceviche days but it's a little pricey around $20.

I will leave that call to reviewers that know Guatemalan cuisine. I wouldn't know authentic Guatemalan food if I had a mouth full of it. All I know is that it was tasty, and not Mexican food. I had a picture on my phone that a Google reviewer had posted. It looked delicious. I showed the picture to the owner and asked what they were. Guatemalan Enchiladas was his reply. I followed that question with "are they on the menu, I can't find them?" His response "No, But I will make them for you." He did. I also asked if he had a salsa picante to go with them. He replied yes and in the same sentence warned this gringo that it was very hot. It was perfect on the enchiladas. My wife went with a breakfast plate, Desayuno Chapin. While we were waiting, the owner brought out two fried corn tortillas spread with a thin creamy tasty layer of black beans. Both were finished with a sprinkling of tangy sharp cotija cheese. A nice complimentary appetizer. The plates arrived. Mine was three fried corn tortillas (tostada shells) covered with a generous salad of fried shredded cabbage, carrot, and pickled beets. A good portion of fried chicken breast cut into small pieces was on top of the salad, then finished with cilantro. I got tricked into eating somewhat healthy. I enjoyed the meal. My wife's breakfast meal was scrambled eggs, creamy smooth black beans, fried plantains, a big chunk of mild queso fresco, a dollop of mayonnaise and tortillas to scoop it all up with. She added some of the salsa picante to spice it up. She loved the food.

As you walk in the front doors the bar is immediately the focal point at the back of the restaurant. Throughout the restaurant are lights hanging from the ceiling with oversized wicker-like shades. Lighting is thoughtfully done, not too bright, not too dark. Our server was very attentive and was eager to answer all our questions and we did have quite a few because the menu was rather unique. We had questions about some of the ingredients and portion sizes. Half of the menu is more Tappas style; great for sharing because the portions are generous. The other half of the menu is more entrée sized and our table of six ordered a variety of items from both sides of the menu. The beet salad (Remolacha) was fabulous, with good size chunks of beets mixed with peanuts and Pomegranate and crema plus a few other ingredients. My entree was the Frita Cubana a chorizo-spiced beef patty with egg, cheese, onion, shoestring fries, aioli, served on a yummy brioche bun. It was delicious. We shared the PROVOLETA, Melted provolone with chimichurri served in a cast iron pan with toasted sourdough for dipping. Awesome. CROQUETAS are 3 roughly golf ball sized fried lump crab cakes, with lemon aioli and chives, also awesome. There was a happy hour which our server neglected to mention until it was too late but our overall experience was excellent and we'll be back!

Since March 2023, they have expanded to serving Peruvian cuisine only on Wednesday and Thursday while continue to serve Venezuelan cuisine from Friday to Tuesday. I am not exactly sure why not just serve Venezuelan and Peruvian cuisine everyday. I came in on a Thursday and was limited to the white menu, Peruvian cuisine only. Not happy already because the main reason why I came in was to try the 3 meat combo from the grill. Nevertheless, I decided to stay and got the tallarin saltado with is sautéed sirloin beef stir fried with onions, tomatoes, and noodles. I actually prefer this dish over the lomo saltado with comes with rice and fries which I had the day before. The restaurant was really slow on Thursday evening and presumably Wednesday as well. Google still shows that they are not open on these days. There was just one other table dining and the restaurant was dead silence. There was just one worker, maybe two, but one person should be enough. They really should just provide both Venezuelan and Peruvian food all the time, not 2 days of Peruvian and 5 days of Venezuelan. It just adds too much confusion and may result in customer's dissatisfaction like me today. I really don't want the restaurant to become KzeroGrill in the distant future.
