K'sero Hamburger and upgraded Choripapa fries for the side.
Scott P.

I keep passing this place by but haven't gone in until today. Loved the ole hot dog place they used to be here years ago. My 3 year old and I decided this would be lunch today. Well she decided she wanted fries and queso so I filed in the rest. The whole menu looks phenomenal but we started with a little more American than their standard fair. She with the kid burger and I with their Ksero burger. At first they stated they didn't have just queso like we had assumed but the service was awesome and melted some down and made it for my daughter, how awesome is that. My burger had so many unique flavors in addition to a greatly cooked burger patty. It all worked well together and I agree every bit. They were accommodating and let me update my fries to their cheese fry app and that smoked chorizo on it, yes, so good. In all we had great food and great service. Part of their signage does suggest it's fast food, it ain't that fast but so worth it. I can't wait to try their more authentic dishes, love me some Arepas.

This was simply awesome!!

What a wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant!! Stumbled across this on yelp and liked the pictures! This place didn't disappoint, now the owner came to take our order, didn't see any servers but no worries, the food was delicious! Great menu, love the different creative ideas, flavors was great! Give this a try!

Got there and they asked me if it was my first time there. I said yes, and they had me sit down. No one else at the restaurant. More than 15 mins passed and NO ONO came over to take care of my order. I have them the benefit of the doubt. Waited a couple mins longer....They seemed busy with to go and DoorDash (or similar) orders. I ended up waking out. Can't speak for the food as I did not get to eat.

Took the opportunity to visit KseroGrill for lunch today. I arrived pretty early, so I was the first person there. I think I caught the staff unawares because I had to wait for a few minutes to get seated. A really sweet lady got me a menu and made sure I was aware I was eating in a Venezuelan place, which I was, and left me to peruse the menu. Lots of good choices, including burgers for the faint hearted group. After considering the many options, and using photos on Yelp! to refer to, I made up my mind. About that time, a nice fella showed up to take my order, and I couldn't help but ask what was the best thing on the menu, to which he replied "It's ALL good!". Confidence.... I like that. I went with the 3 meat dinner, choosing ribeye, pork and chorizo. All this comes over a bed of diced cassava and decorated with the house sauces, which are quite good. The menu specified it included an arepa, which I didn't get, but there was more than enough food. The place itself is clean, uncluttered and neat. I can imagine it could get a bit noisy during a heavy crowd. I suspect it was the time of day, but my order took well over 20 minutes to hit the table. Again, first customer of the day, so I imagine not everything was on hot standby, which is fine. Food arrived and it looked, smelled and tasted delicious. The steak was simply seasoned and tender. The pork was diced pork shoulder, again, seasoned well and very juicy. I like that the meat still has some fat on it. Too many places cater to the dietary dictates of society and don't include all that tasty stuff. The chorizo was much more like a firm smoked sausage (think kielbasa) than most chorizo I've had, but it was outstanding. I could easily eat several links of the stuff. Overall, there was more food than I could eat, so I chose to focus on the meat and left a few pieces of cassava behind. And speaking of the cassava, it was really well done. Tender without being overcooked, it was largely unseasoned to allow the subtle earthy flavor to come through. If you've not had cassava, think potato that's cubed and roasted, but with a more subtle, slightly sweet flavor. The only thing I can nitpick about was the service could be a little better. The folks are friendly as all get out, but I didn't get anything to drink until my meal arrived, which was a good 20+minutes, and I didn't get offered any refill on the water. Luckily I didn't need one, but still. It's the little things. In sum, I will hit this place on the regular every chance I get.

Tostones with Cheese. The sauce really makes them even better !

Wonderful food in a small establishment. The seasoning was phenomenal and all very fresh. We will be back for more !

Venezuelan fast food, and American fast food with a Venezuelan spin. Some of the South American foods tend to be heavy, fried, with lots of meats, starches and mayo-based sauces....and I love it! For us today's lunch; Tequenos, Combo de Tostados with shredded chicken, and Tumbarrancho with shredded chicken. Details of the food is in the current menu pictures posted with this review. The Tequenos were basically a cheese stick covered in a light bread dough and deep fried (as in mozzarella sticks only a different breading.) It was served with a with a mayo-based dressing that tasted similar to tarted sauce. The Combo de Tostados came as two per the order. Each was shredded chicken, cheese, cabbage and the "house" mayo-based special sauce, piled between two deep fried arepas. The Tumbarrancho had the same filling, but the construction was different. It was a large thick arepas, battered, deep fried then pried open and stuffed with the ingredients. Everything was wonderful! I loved the food! In the restaurant they have the menu in both English and Spanish. Check it out! It has quite a variety, with great looking burgers, subs and a breakfast menu. They have different specials. The owner told me about his very special Christmas dinner. "Some of those items may be available on the regular menu later in the year." I sure hope so.... Order at the counter/pay at the counter. The food is delivered to your table in in fast food type trays. Friendly staff, good service.

Ribeye Arepa

Authentic Venezuelan food in Tulsa! Very good and flavorful. Family run restaurant. 10/10 recommend! The brown sugar lemonade looks scary at first but it is actually really good! I got the ribeye arepa and it was so good! The boyfriend got the 3 grilled meat (pork, chorizo, ribeye) with yucca fries and his was really good as well!

Pork Arepa and fried yucca
Krista B.

Food was good grilled and taste was good. Ordered pork Arepa, fried yucca a can drink and Quesillo. They were out of the Quesillo so I got a notice that my account would be credited, disappointed but okay with that the delivery driver brought food to my door. No drink? Not sure where the drink wound up would order again but probably just go to the restaurant myself

Flavorless food. Not a vegetable on any of our 5 plates. My arepa was cold and the cheese was not melted. Ugh.

You know you're about to eat at a "nice restaurant" but that you would be welcome in all types of dress anytime of day. I went to the restroom while my husband ordered drinks, I told him to surprise me. The waitress helped him order and he ended up ordering a drink called The Bees Knees. I loved it! He got a ranch water, boring lol. For an appetizer we shared the Crabback. It's basically a fancy crab cake but man was it delicious. Best crab cake type appetizer I have ever had. For dinner we shared the Escovitch Red Snapper. It came with rice and beans and plantains but we traded the plantains for the butternut squash soup. The fish was so tender and flaky. It was topped beautiful, thinly sliced pickled veggys and two huge grilled shrimp. The rice and beans were mixed together and the perfect pairing with the fish. This dish was 10/10 and we will definitely get it again. The butternut squash soup was so creamy and flavorful, best we have had. This restaurant is such a great place to try new food and get some of the yummiest drinks. It's a great place to eat if you are downtown for a concert or show. The bread starter comes with butter or a spicier, saucy spread, which is delicious and has a brief, sharp zing that' hits and leaves quickly. Yes, thank you! My wife got the jerk fried chicken which was prepared almost like chicken fried chicken, with cream gravy and a biscuit rather than what you'd expect more traditional "fried chicken" to look like. Also came with a small corn cob on a stick with spices on it. She said the jerk wasn't very spicy, which some may prefer. We eat here several times a year. It's reliably good every time but doesn't reach excellent.
