With anything Peruvian when it comes to food, I automatically think rice so seeing the Pork Adobo on the menu helped with my decision. Anything adobo is just as automatic as my thought process with Peruvian food & rice. I was asked if I wanted it spicy or non-spicy, after picking spicy, I was really looking forward to it. The meal wasn't a letdown, so full of flavor. Here's the description from the menu: slow cooked pork stew, marinated with chicha de jora + peppers. Not enough?! There's also garlic rice & sweet potatoes. As I enjoyed the heat level, there was a side of something that was really good, it was like a vinaigrette. It was a spicy, a good spicy. I added it here & there to the pork, again... so much flavor. They have sandwiches, soups, chicken & much more to offer. They even have a wide variety of beverages to choose from. I'm going big, trying as much of the menu as possible. They have a plate for that. Trio Criollo! A mixture of the Peruvian culture's diverse cuisine. It is served on a long three sectioned serving platter. Each section filled with a unique food; Anticucho, Lomo Saltado, Arroz con Pollo, Papas a la huancaína. I think the Aji de Gallina and the Fried Rice Chicken was missing, (according to the menu description.) There was plenty of food though. The huancaína sauce was on the side with two other sauces. All the sauces were delicious and worked well with the various foods. Check the pictures. The Lomo Saltado is exceptionally good. It is the generous amount of meaty, char flavored gravy that stood out. My wife had a full order of it, delicious meat and fries. I usually ignore the rice and it travels back to the restaurant's kitchen when the table is bussed. The green rice under the fried chicken was very pleasantly flavored. It went well with the big deep-fried thigh. I couldn't eat it all though. The plate overflowed with rice. The very lean Anticucho had a mild beefy flavor finished with a flame char and some seasoning. A little dry, with a slightly chewy texture about like Twizzlers. It makes a good appetizer when dipped into the hot sauce. Order at the counter, food is delivered to the table. Freshly made food, so it takes a few minutes. Sodas in the can. Friendly service. The ambiance is that of a big dining hall. I have already decided on my next meal, Fettuccini al Pesto. read more

Great experience! Nothing fancy about this place, but the food was delicious! I don't know if I'd get the potatoes again for the price, but they were good. The pollo a la brasa was juicy and tender and a huge portion even at just the 1/4 size. The side salad was shredded lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes, and was fresh and a good side option. I really enjoyed the risotto dish. I had ordered the spaghetti but somehow ended up with the risotto huacaina, but no regrets, it was so good!! Maybe the best rice dish I've ever had. The beef was tender and full of flavor. The tomatoes were just right, and the onions were big enough for me to eat around since I don't like them. The staff was friendly and attentive. We paid about $53 for two entrees, two Mexican Cokes, 20% tip, and taxes. But with portion sizes, it was fair. It's definitely giving me more "hole in the wall" than "fancy dining", but it was truly great food. Can't wait to go back! Peruvian food is one of my favorites and I'm so glad we now have Inkanto in our community. Their menu includes classic dishes like papa a la huancaína (boiled potatoes in a creamy sauce with ají, onion, and garlic), lomo saltado (stir fry with marinated strips of sirloin with onions, tomatoes, fries and rice), ceviche, tallarín saltado (noodles with sautéed chicken or beef), and arroz chaufa (fried rice). They also seem to switch it out quite a bit so you're able to try different things. Their alfajores are pretty good too although not available all the time. The owner, Jony, is super nice, answering any questions you might have and making recommendations if you need help making a decision. You can also call ahead to order and they'll have the food ready by the time you get there if you want it to go. I have been following Inkanto ever since they had pop-ups at Mother Road and then at Ksero Grill. Inkanto is now located on 3rd & Lewis in the same building as Arepa Bar and Granada (Mexican juice bar). They all went through the Kitchen 66 restaurant incubator program and it's so cool they collaborated to be in a brick and mortar spot together. Doña Carmelita (Mexican food) is also in the same building, which has been there for a while. The place itself looks great since I last visited. They painted the outside and it looks a lot better! I love how spacious it is and how much seating is available. There's usually Salsa or Mexican music playing, so they make my dance heart happy. read more

The food was awesome! Lots of space in the building I thought my Arissotado à la hununcaina (creamy risotto with beef was good) The pork belly special was good for gluten free people. The crispy pork was outstanding. The Lucian mousse was their best dessert. Passion fruit mousse is good if you like a little sour. The flan was good and a little more firm. Is our second time coming here and the food is delicious and well presented. The place looks very neat and clean. There's music playing in the background at all times. Excellent food! We split the arroz con pollo. Creamy potatoes with a delightful, fresh red onion salad that was not overpowering at all. Our only wish is that there was a bit more chicken with the platter, however, the drumstick was perfectly cooked. Bright, clean, and cheery atmosphere. We'll be back to try other dishes! read more

Gonna start with 4 stars for these guys. It is nice having another Peruvian food choice available since my fav one is clear across town and keeps inconsistent hours. These guys popped up at Kitchen 66 in Mother Road Market this weekend, so I had to give them a try. Got the lomo saltado to go. The meat tasted great, if I have a complaint, it is how it was (wasn"t) put together. Stirfry should be put together, not compartmentalized. This had the fries in a separate pile, same with the meat and the veggies etc. Also proly should have made the fries a bit crispier. Other than that the food came out quick and was tasty. Looking forward to trying the other items they make. read more
